Terrible service!! If I could give them a negative number I would. I took an older watch to have the stem/crown replaced. I provided all the parts. Not once did they mention they don't accept watch repairs with owner provided parts. Two weeks later they left vmail indicating they didn't install the stem/crown because they tested watch and needs full service at $550. When I picked up the watch they lost one of the original stem/winding pieces. I asked where the piece was, "I put it one of the zip lock bags, but let me sweep the floor." WTF. Then the owner states "when we realize the watch didn't work, I was happy to give it back to you with no charge." As you should because you didn't do anything, but lose an original part. "The whole process was a waste of my time during my busiest week of the year." Why is that the customers issue? "Oh and BTW if you do the full service for $550 those parts will be included." What you will sell be back my part? Stay clear of these people. Probably trying to cover their high rental in Los Altos. read more

I was going up three sizes and didn't even know if he could do it. Gian is very good at his trade and assured me it would be perfect! He was right! He totally had to cut the ring and add more gold but I couldn't even tell where he did that! so i needed to have a couple of links removed and the bracelet clasp re-set in a new steel Rolex. Not difficult by any means, but it has to be done correctly and without damaging the bracelet or case. i called Preziosi (regrettably i don't remember the gentleman's name, but i believe he's the owner) and he said could do it, just bring the watch in. so i show up at 1620, 40 minutes before closing time. I show him what i want done and he said "no problem, give me about 10 or 15 minutes" i returned then, he handed me the re-sized watch and the two links in a small plastic bag; he waited for me to try it on--perfect fit. I said "thank you", and "how much do i owe you" he told me $10. I have paid $50 for the same thing--and this was without 15-minute turnaround--so i gave him $20 and he only reluctantly accepted it according to the (glowing) yelp reviews for this shop, this gentleman is quite a skilled maker of custom jewelry. But sometimes those guys act make you feel like a jackass when you show up with a trivial little task like re-sizing a watch bracelet. But not this shop in the future, if i need to purchase an engagement ring, new watch strap, jewelry for gifts, an appraisal, etc. this is where i go. read more

They have some of the most beautiful jewelry I have ever seen and they do perfect repairs. I usually let things pile up and walk in with an assortment of "projects" needing attention. I would like to start by stating that Preziosi is a family owned business and the owners are known members of the community. If you are considering getting jewelry repaired or purchasing a piece that he has in stock, this shop is a great option and I have had numerous positive experiences. With that being said, a recent experience involving a custom ring left me incredibly disappointed and frustrated. After a month of working with Gianluca to solidify the ring I wanted (using family diamonds), I felt like Gianluca was inconsistent and not on top of what we had discussed and what we had agreed on. He did not take any notes about our discussions, and each time I visited I had to remind him of what had been previously discussed. This included aspects of the project such as the diamond size, ring layout, and price. During my most recent visit he drastically increased the cost of the ring from what he had previously quoted. Based on his lack of action, I felt like he was just stringing me along and didn't actually want the project. If he had said 2 months ago that he was too busy or didn't have the time to create my custom ring, that would have been fine and I could have found another jeweler in time. Instead, he strung me along, promising me a 3d model and more by the time I left for vacation, none of which happened. If you are searching for a standard ring, piece of jewelry, or need a repair done, Preziosi is a good option. However, if you are looking for a custom piece of jewelry or something unique that would have to be ordered or adjusted, I do not recommend them at this time. read more

But, he happily offered to keep my watch and change the battery when he received a new stock...then call me to come pick it up. That's what we did and how it happened. I have been using Preziosi for 13 years. I have purchased 3 Tissot watches, which I love. I had them make my wife's engagement ring to match her grandmother's first band. They have made me custom jewelry for my mother in law with her old gold rings and necklaces. I have not been able to find an honest jeweler and have been to many that match the service and stand behind what they make or sell.
