While traveling from California to Chicago, was visiting the Humboldt Park area. On the way back, I passed by this Thai restaurant Silli Kori right in Division St. They advertised a lunch special, which worked out perfectly. The place is cute and I was served right away. I absolutely love Thai food and being so far from home, I didn't know what to expect. I was in for a surprise. I ordered the Pad Thai which came with a small side salad. So delicious! And the Pad Thai was literally one of the best that I've had. You mix it yourself. We plan to be back in Chicago later in the year. I hope to visit here again in the near future.

This restaurant is tucked away in division and such an amazing find! Very nice inside and the service was great. Now the food was great and for such a great price. Highly recommend the specialty dishes! Son in law eggs blew me away!

Decided to go here on a spur of the moment while out one day. The place was empty, but it was 4 pm. on a weekday. Service was fast, and the food came out in a reasonable time. Short rating: Fresh Rolls: 1 out of 5 Kao Soi: 3 out of 5 Son In Law Eggs: 5 out of 5 First, the fresh rolls are not spring rolls. It is mostly vegetables and comes with a sliver of tofu and a vinegar based sauce. You can add shrimp to the dish, but you barely get any shrimp in it. While the dish may be fresh, it is lacking in flavor for me. The Kao Soi is a curry egg noodle soup. While I think this was a good dish, it was a bit mild in the flavor for me. The flavor is good, but it's just a feeling of wanting more. I would eat it again, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Finally, the Son and Law eggs dish. This was the star of the show, and it packed all the flavor that I missed from the other dishes. I recommend the beef with this dish instead of the chicken. The seasoning in this dish tastes soy sauce based, and it is done very well. The eggs in the dish are hardboiled and fried. It is very unique and delicious.

The first impression is that it is that the decor is modern but inviting. It was my impression that even though the space is nice, the majority of the business seems to be carryout and delivery, so we received really attentive service being one of a few diners dining in. We ordered fresh spring rolls, miso, massaman curry and Woonsen. Everything was so delicious but the massaman curry was next level for me. It was a visually beautiful dish and the taste was outstanding!

Looking for an amazing lunch without breaking the bank? Look no further. Pleasantly surprised by this gem tucked away in Wicker Park. They have a SMOKING deal for weekday lunch. For $12, you get an app and a select main. Add miso soup for $3? Oh, don't have to tell me twice. Even their other options on the menu aren't crazy priced. Amazing flavor, indoor and outdoor seating, and will definitely be back!

Parking all over division. This spot is so comfy and home-y. Server/bartender was so kind and explained the menu. Recommended a light Japanese beer that I enjoyed thoroughly. My partner's tummy was delightfully happy and the price point is affordable! Come here, trust me.

Pim is incredibly sweet and kind. We visited the restaurant during our lunch break and took advantage of the lunch special, which was an amazing value. The crab Rangoons were excellent, and the curry had the perfect balance of flavor and spice. Since the weather was hot outside, we decided to enjoy our meal indoors. I could easily see myself becoming a regular here.

This was a solid panang curry. It could have used spice, but that's why I always get chili flakes on the side!

Silli Kori's food, especially as a vegetarian, is savory, flavorful, and balanced. The service is quick and the wait staff is attentive to small details. The ambiance is quiet and cozy. It can get a little warm in the restaurant in the summertime, but a cold Thai iced tea (which was delightful) can fix that quite readily!

Came to get lunch at this unassuming Asian restaurant on Division. It turned out to only be doing takeout so I got it to go. Silli Kori is casually elegant and certainly it's not silly. Has pretty good prices for the quality. There's lunch specials and many things for any preferences of tastes. At lunch is the best time to come. It had pretty affordable lunch specials going on. This is only for weekdays. Has a lot to choose from. It's about $9 for the cheapest specials. Pick a noodle or rice. Then choose a protein. It's a few bucks or more for each. This then comes with a side. Add a few more bucks if wanting a soup. The one I got was the woonsen noodles, and I got it with tofu. Appetizer was the vegetable tempura. The noodles were those glassy ones and came with a good variety of vegetables. Carrots, long beans, and more. This was a good amount for the cheap price. Has only dinner on Sundays, but the rest of the week also has lunch. It only does takeout earlier so plan ahead about when to go make an order. There's plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians.

Wow welcome to my new favorite pad Thai restaurant. IYKYK that I love pad Thai and whenever I try a new Thai place, I have to order pad Thai (and crab Rangoon) regardless of what else sounds good. This pad Thai was perfect. Flavors were balanced between sweet, tangy, and a little spicy. Textures were varied; noodles, sprouts, and it was all covered in an egg sheath. Creative, beautiful, and completely satisfying. I added a little extra chili sauce, but that's to my own taste. The base entree was delicious. The crab Rangoon were amazing too, I loved that they included green onion into the mix. Furthermore, you cannot beat the cocktails. 1- because they excellent and 2- because they're soooo affordable ($11 for a Singapore sling). I will be back and this will be my top recommendation for pad Thai and my top restaurant request when I'm in the Wicker area.

I ordered Pad Thai and crab rangoon for carry out via phone. Showed up in 20 mins and the food was already ready. The crab Rangoon was the perfect crispy crust. The pad Thai was delicious and the portions were big, I got 2 meals out of this order. If you're looking to satisfy your Thai cravings I would recommend going here!

Recently, I've been loving Thai food and have been trying more Thai places around Chicago and this is in my top 3 favorites so far! The portion sizes are generous, especially for the reasonable price point. The menu is on the smaller side but with the great quality of each dish, you won't be disappointed. Gyoza - perfectly crisp, savory, and plenty of filling, loved the sauce! Son in law eggs - I've never seen this dish at any other Thai places so I was really intrigued to try this. I absolutely loved it, full of flavor! It comes with fried soft boiled eggs, spicy basil beef rice bowl with sweet tamarind sauce. Pad Thai - wrapped under a sheath of eggs, this was a really delicious pad Thai. It was the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I went during a weekday for dinner so we were the only ones in the restaurant besides a few people eating outside on the patio, so service was quick, but it looked like there was only one person working. The place is casual and cozy. Will be back to try the other menu items!

Always such friendly service here. Red curry is my jam and theirs passes the test. I love an extra serving of veggies added to mine and they don't hold back on it!which isn't the case at a lot of Thai places I've tried. Also their egg rolls are HUGE and delicious! Not those sad tiny ones you often get from nearby places.

Pictures matter. I was looking for a great date-night spot…read morein the Chicago, Wicker Park/Milwaukee area, somewhere close to entertainment, and after walking past the "soup dumplings" sign a few times, I finally decided to try Bigsuda at 1362 N. Milwaukee Ave. The green awning and outdoor seating had always caught my eye, so I was excited to finally go in. The interior is beautiful, warm greens, gold accents, and comfortable booth-style seating that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. The staff was attentive, friendly, and consistently checked in throughout the night. Bigsuda is a Korean fusion restaurant. I love Korean food and have even spent time living in Korea, so I was curious to see their take. The menu is descriptive and does include some illustrations, and I later noticed there are more photos available online, which can be helpful when deciding what to order. One thing to note: the menu leans heavily on pork, and vegetarian options are somewhat limited. Some dishes can be modified (like ordering fried rice without shrimp), but several broths and signature items, including the soup dumplings, are pork-based. As someone who doesn't eat pork, I wasn't able to try one of the main dishes I came in for, which was a bit disappointing. Expanding options here could make the experience more inclusive. Here's what we ordered: Cabbage Tofu Pocket - Fresh, earthy, and clean. The cabbage had a nice juiciness, and the sauce tied everything together well. It's served cold, which was unexpected, but still enjoyable. Pan-Seared Veggie Mandoo - A fun presentation, served upside down with a crisp, pancake-like crust. Breaking into it was part of the experience, and the sauce complemented it nicely. Wok-Fired Steak Saltado - The standout of the night. The steak and rice paired really well and leaned into that Korean-fusion flavor. It was hearty, flavorful, and great for sharing. My friend also tried the shrimp dumplings and crab with chili sauce, which she felt were just okay. One highlight for both of us was the Peach Mong (a non-alcoholic drink with peach, citrus, and tonic), definitely worth trying. Overall, Bigsuda really shines in its atmosphere. It's a great place to sit, talk, and enjoy the ambiance, and the service adds to that experience. While the food didn't completely wow us across the board, there were definitely some strong moments. I had a great time overall, and with a few more inclusive menu options, this place could easily level up even more. 3 out of 5 stars.

Finally my schedule, bank account, and the weather all lined up to try brunch at this West Loop spot. Like everywhere else at Fulton Market, be prepared for parking to be what parking is going to be here! There are some paid street spots, I also think there is a garage somewhere, and it is noted that Duck Duck Goat does not offer valet. The restaurant is in a super chic corner spot in Fulton Market, with a very picturesque little patio dining space out front. I had a reservation and arrived just a couple minutes early; we were greeted as soon as we walked in and taken to a table without any wait. I absolutely love the inside of this restaurant. Our table was a half booth/half chair two-top in the front window. There is so much rich color and decoration, and it really feels pretty intimate - I think this is a great date spot. The brunch menu has some amazing food options, and the service was very friendly but not overbearing. We started with an order of the crab rangoon to share between both of us, and then the pork fried rice omelette and the bacon and egg moo shu as brunch entrees. This is a dim sum restaurant and the plates are more of a style to be small bites and/or shared plates, and portion size definitely reflects such! Also because of this style, the dishes came out as they were ready, not all together "as entrees". The crab rangoons were incredible - the mascarpone filling is tart and bright to counter the briny crab and the pineapple sweet and sour is incredibly craveable. I will dream about this omelette for the rest of my life. The richness of the pork and the savoryness of the fried rice paired with fluffy egg, piled high with a texture bomb of accoutrements like crispy fried onions, (fresno?) chilis, and picked red onions. This is one of the best bites in the city. The moo shu had perfectly made sunny side up eggs with the richest egg yolks. All the veggies were cooked perfect, I loved the lotus root in the veggie mix. I love that our reservation wasn't rushed, and the service was really nice. We both said before even finishing our brunch that we wanted to come back and try dinner. Also a super cute touch, we were given complimentary little almond cookies after we were done. Thank you so much, Duck Duck Goat, for a wonderful brunch date! We will see you soon for dinner!
