My daughter and son in-law had problems with their vehicle that broke down, the vehicle was over…read moreconsuming oil, they were told to get a complete oil change and continue to drive it until the oil light came on, to witch it flickered on slightly then it shut off and Brandon told them to drive it until the oil light stayed on continuously to witch the oil light never did yet the engine light came on.well while on vacation they broke down and took the vehicle back to Bourne's because they have a warranty, well the warranty did not cover the engine problem with the over consumption of oil, the service manager Brandon Wright was totally disrespectful and unprofessional to those who called concerning the repairs on the vehicle, they were ill advised to drive around in a vehicle that could potentially cause harm to precious cargo, my children.. and for them to get a rental was like pulling teeth because they were informed that all 30 of their rental cars were being rented out, it took someone else to call the general manager to get them involved and get a rental, now as we speak my son in-law is being told that they will be charged to clear a code??! In my experience with real auto mechanics they never charge to clear a code because real mechanics want to make sure it's not something that has gone faulty... I was going to go to Bourne's to get a newer vehicle for myself because I was told how good they are yet seeing how dishonest the service manager is and how disrespectful to my children and sister in-law because she was the co-signer for the vehicle and knowing that the vehicle was consuming to much oil he should of investigated further to diagnose a problem instead of having them drive in my opinion a death trap. I will be taking my hard earned money to a business that will appreciate their customer's

These people are liars and theives. The finance guy sold us a warranty. Specially said it even…read morecovers the radio. We brought the car in for service, one complaint was the radio. Guess what? Not covered. None of our complaints were covered. Also he told us "we have a bunch of loaner cars. Then it was " well...all of our loaner cars are tied up". When we purchased the care it took them WEEKS to correct an oil leak. Seriously....go somewhere else.

I had a car I was trading in, and the deal really worked out in my favor. Quick Lane service center is also top shelf too! Literally, quick service, no nonsense, and in and out. The thing is, I've seen folks just show up for an inspection sticker or oil change without a booking/reservation, and get shooed away because the place is booked and busy. Went in for an oil change. When did an oil change get to be over $100 for a basic f150. That aside…read more Pleasant and helpful. Took a bit longer than promised, but still ok. Although what seems like a minor error, might really expose a bit of a scam. I got the report back after the service. Has a huge amount of items they are supposed to check. They listed "mechanic inspected and recommends replacing the cabin air filter" ..ok seems reasonable..until you realize that model of truck does NOT have a cabin air filter! So are they idiots or scammed? Recommended something that does not exist? This shines a light on the question, if they didn't check this phantom part, what else did they not inspect? Makes me wonder if they just change the oil and just check off the check list randomly. So much for earning the value of a $100+ LOF. Yes it seems minor, but what else are they skimping on? Do better. Car dealers have a bad reputation. Service like this supports the stereotype.

I foolishly bought a 2012 Chevy equinox with around 78k miles (what I was hoping would be my secondary work vehicle) from here in May. I've not only put more miles on it driving back to Lux for repairs than I have using it for work, but I've also taken off more time in the last month than I have in the last 2 years! Within the first few days there was a loud sound whenever I put on the a/c. Brought it back for repairs (1 1/2 days with no car and 1 1/2 days off work. When I picked it up, Ron swore it was fixed. The noise started happening again on my way home .. while the a/c was OFF! I called him back and had to plan for another time during the week to take off work and drop the car back off to him. The next week, same thing 2 days with no car and another 2 days out of work. Got the car back for the second time and not only was my gas tank left of EMPTY but the noise was STILL PERSISTING! Now even louder than before & still when the a/c was both on AND off. Ron gave me some receipts that looked forged and insisted he replaced even more parts than just the tensioner belt. He tried to assure me that although the noise is still happening, it's safe to drive and the belt won't break. WHO THE HELL WANTS A VEHICLE THAT MAKES ANY TYPE OF BAD NOISE?! I asked him about my empty gas tank & why he was driving around in my car to begin with, to which he BLATANTLY LIED TO ME & stated he put 10$ in my tank..Yet I just picked it up on E?! What Ron didn't know was that I had replaced the original gas cap with one that locks with a single KEY! Therefore, there's no possible way he could have have put any gas in my gas tank! I never left the key with him. BE AWARE, THIS GUY IS A LIAR!! So again, I had to take 3 more days off work and go without a vehicle for another 3. While waiting for the day to drop the car back off, my key (the ONLY ONE I was given) got stuck in the ignition and would not come out or allow me to the car off completely. I called Ron.. he said he'd be at the shop in a few hours! Was he kidding me?! My battery would've died if I waited HOURS! He then instructed me to go to the garage he uses for all his cars, located in Brockton. I stood outside for 2 1/2 hours in 80 degree weather because this "mechanic" had a sitting room full of hoarded junk instead of somewhere for customers to wait. Eventually there was a small group of 5-6 people waiting in the parking lot out front. We are now on the 3rd attempt to fix this vehicle. Ron just texted me stating "I have a letter from the car place saying the noise is normal" !! All and all, this guy is a grimy dishonest sneaky crook.. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING HERE!!!!!!

My mom originally came to CarBidz alone and checked out some cars until she found one she loved so I returned with her since it's a 45 minute drive we want to make sure she liked what she saw online before I tagged along to make sure she was taken advantage of. Well I'm glad I came because she was looking at a 2010 Mazda with 121,000 which apparently will pass inspection if you take it to a shop the owner knows!! Well I asked to take it to a local shop which uses Massachusetts equipment and charges the same price as every legit place does unlike Paul McDermott who suggested we pay a shop he knows $20 bucks and it will totally pass. Well I took it to O'Brien car care who did not pass it and suggested not to buy it because there was so many hidden problems like someone had cleared the check engine light but never fixed the problem and yes you can read that. Bobby at O'Brien car care said he would not buy it because all the problems and the smoke filled cabin air filter with a air freshener someone had stuffed in there to mask the smell. I returned to CarBidz and Paul acted as if he had never heard of the codes and has never seen something pass in the last 35 years and was shocked and just laughed in my face about me paying $55 dollars because now he can fix it on his own and he doesn't have to pay the fees. This guy is a crook and he knows it and is out for the quick buck and didn't care they my 67 year old mom was gonna buy a car that was gonna fail inspection who has COPD but a car with old smoke but hidden... you have been warned.

Darryl helped him and sent him the information requested. My brother spoke very highly of Darryl so the next day we went together to test out some cars. I knew once I met Darryl, I was in the right place. We took a couple of cars for a ride, not once did I feel pressure to make a selection. I do want to say my plan going in was to take my time and not jump on the first car I liked, well, that didn't work I bought a car, mostly because I felt ver secure in the process and the car. After Darryl I was sent to talk with Angel Cruz, the finance manager. After talking with Angel, I knew I was going to be fine in my decision. Angel was very nice and personable, took the time to explain and answer and questions that I had. I have been a "Chevy" girl for a long time, I changed because of my experience with this group. Not as poetic as Frank's but the message is the same.

I was subjected to a predatory "bait and switch" and held against my will after hours. I negotiated a written deal for a 2025 Nissan Armada with salesman Jonathan Thomas and manager Joel for $65,150. After they pressured me to post a 5-star Google review, they brought out the final paperwork with the price hiked by $4,410, plus nearly $2,500 in hidden fees (Zurich Shield and Security Guard) we never discussed. When I called out the "error," they admitted they changed the negotiated price of the vehicle. It was after closing; I was the only woman in the building with four men. They refused to return the keys to my trade-in vehicle, effectively trapping me there to force a sale. The manager repeatedly called me "sweetheart" in a patronizing attempt to dismiss my concerns. I had to repeatedly demand my own property back (car keys) before fleeing to the Brockton Police Department to report the incident. These particular associates at Nissan 24 are dishonest and predatory. Share this to protect others from these tactics.
