Professional, friendly and reasonably priced. They didn't upsell services that weren't needed, unlike other shops.

I thought this was a great place until I brought my truck a second time. This time to have the front shock absorbers replaced. I already got the shocks from a friend that works at a dealership in Quincy. When I made the appointment the owner informed me he didn't really want to install other peoples supplies and preferred to supply and install his own equipment, which is fair. He told me he would do it this time only, I said great and if there was anything else that needed to be done just go ahead and do it. He call when the truck was ready, I went and paid my bill not paying much attention to it. (Extra needed work was done) When I got in my truck I noticed my shocks were still in the box not used on the back seat. When I asked about it, he claimed he wasn't there and someone else did the work. He didn't even offer to try and make it right, so much for customer service. I will never go back. There are no degrees of honesty. Thanks for reading. read more

This is definitely the best possible place for auto maintenance and repair! Their work is excellent, fast and competitively priced. On top of that, they are great people who value their customers and always go above and beyond to please us. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you Mark and Jon! read more

My tire had a leak and even though there were no open appointments, Mark was able to squeeze me in, same day, for a plug fix in a little over an hour. He also did it free of charge which was amazing. This is a solid business and I really appreciate them! read more

Hometowne Auto is an amazing auto mechanic business! They are reliable, knowledgeable, and honest! We have been bringing our cars to them since shortly after they opened. They have consistently gone the extra mile to help provide excellent service. They stand by their work and deliver quality for a very reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend them! read more

Trustworthy, hard working, friendly and knowledgeable. Absolute gem. Highly recommend, If you're in or around Easton.

Honest, friendly and accommodating is how I would describe these guys. I came in for a flat tire and they fixed it for me on the spot. I witnessed how they interacted with their customers both in person and over the phone and was really impressed. New to town and will definitely use them in the future! Thanks so much! read more

Mark, Jonathan, and Jason do it right and at a reasonable price. They replaced an alternator for my '06 F150 and It's still going strong. Bob Keller read more

Our experiences with Home Towne continue to be very positive. We have found some other mechanics to be slightly condescending toward my wife. We have never felt that way here. They will discuss options for repair with you with a mind on price, value and purpose. The shop front area and work areas appear clean bright and up to date. And to top it off our latest request to help replace brake lights and a headlight was met with 'just bring it by and we'll put them in ... No charge' This may be accounted for by the fact that we have used them several times, but it is one more reason why we are extremely likely to go back. And tell others to start. read more

Everyone here is incredibly friendly, helpful, and reasonably priced. I have had 4-5 good experiences with Mark and his colleagues over the past few years, and I've never come away less than completely satisfied. Highly recommended. read more

I initially reviewed this shop on 7/2013. I have never reviewed anything else on Yelp, and yet I am back to write another review for this shop, 2.5 years later. I might never move, just because I will never find another auto shop as good as Home towne Auto. Mark is one of the nicest guys I have ever met and on top of that, he is a good, fair, and honest mechanic. As a woman, I have always dreaded bringing my car in, even for an oil change. I walk away not knowing which way is up, not sure what to believe, and completely helpless. After an exceptionally bad experience at Easton Gas, I gave this (then) new shop a shot and the heavens opened and the angles sung and for the first time in my life, I left an auto shop feeling 100% confident I had been told the truth. We have brought both our cars to Hometown Auto pretty much from the day they opened their doors and I have never had a single bad experience. Fair prices, excellent work, fast service, and most importantly incredibly trustworthy. And now a real life story: I live around the corner from the shop. This morning I was out running errands with my two littlest children (6 months and 2). They had both just fallen asleep in the car, so I sat in the driveway, with the car running for a bit. I had the heat on for the first time this year. After about 10 min I noticed a strange smell and immediately got a pounding headache. I threw the doors open and get my kids out and called Mark. Before we even hung up the phone, he had a mechanic walking up to my house to get my car, knowing I had to pick up my 4 year old soon, he wanted to make sure the car was safe for my kids. I am a mom. My kids are my world. Mark is a father. He wanted to make sure my kids were safe. Is there really anything more to say? This shop is absolutely outstanding. Thank you, Mark. read more

Had my 04 Lexus serviced here and it drives like brand new!!! Excellent customer service!!! Knowledgeable techs!! and reasonable prices!! I live kind of far from the shop but it's definitely worth the drive. Thanks John and Mark for taking the time to explain the maintenance recommendations/requirements for my car!! read more

Very impressed with their knowledge of the 2 cars I brought in, asked the right questions about my issues, provided a reasonable quote, and got the jobs done on time without issues. I'll drive the extra distance to go to a mechanic I can trust. read more

Had a great experience with Jon at Home Towne Auto Shoppe. He asked questions to find out what I needed done on my car and answered with honesty & sincerity. After all was said & done, the guys figured out the reason why my engine indicator kept coming on & fixed my a/c problem. Jon kept in touch with me throughout the day & didn't make repair moves until I knew the price & gave the go-ahead. When I picked my car up, he & another mechanic let me know of other concerns they had and even gave me a business card in referring me to another shop that would potentially care of issues that they could not. A couple days later, I received a follow-up call from Jon, making sure everything was running ok with my car. Hence, we will be going back to Home Towne in the future due to his great customer service! read more

Great experience. They had some of the best pricing. Quick service. Then even a follow up call! Everything is working well!

Husband brought jeep in for service great people quick service and prices are reasonable. Our new mechanics. They just don't know it yet.

Highly recommend. We brought our truck in thinking it would need new shocks. After taking a look, they determined that nothing was wrong and no work was needed. They didn't even charge us for evaluating it. This is the fist mechanic I've ever known to not try and talk us into some repair or part. I very much appreciate that and will continue to use and recommend Home Towne Auto. Thanks! read more

Honest, knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, amazing service and always fair! I am a retired professional that knows alot about business and people. I also have experienced great, good and bad businesses as have many of us. Hometowne Auto is by far one of the best! I have had them work on my car, my wife's and several friends. We all agree that they care about your safety, always glad to answer any questions, and will work with you. Simply stated, they consistently provide exceptional work and are exceptional people. Applause, Kudos, and Thanks!!! read more

Mark is the best mechanic I ever met. Honest, knowledgeable and reliable. My car alternator broke down in Boston and AAA towed my car to an auto shop in Malden. They quote me for almost $750 to fix it and need two days to repair. I called Mark for a second opinion. He explained two possible scenarios to me and he said he could do it for almost half the price of them and only takes one day! Even though it costs me over $100 to have my car towed back to Easton, it is well worth it. Not only it costs less, but I get the peace of mind of knowing my car is in good hands. Quality work for a fair price. I very much appreciate that and will continue to use and recommend Home Towne Auto. Thanks! read more

Professional, friendly, reliable, honest, affordable and convenient. I had rotors, calipers and new rear brakes along with a oil and tire rotation. Overall happy with the service. read more

Great service. great guys. Very honest and responsible. My family uses them for all of our vehicles!

Once again, Hometown Auto did it. My alternator needs to be changed and is still under warranty which I already forgot. Hometown auto change it for me with no charge. They could have not told me that and charge me for several hundred dollars for a new alternator. Mark and John are the most reliable, honest and knowledgeable mechanic. I am very much appreciate that and will continue to use and highly recommend Home Town Auto. Thanks! read more

I think these guys are the absolute best! They have been helping me with my mechanical needs for me and for my son's car as well and I have found them to be very honest, credible and competent. Recently I had an expensive exhaust repair needed and they worked hard to keep the cost down to an affordable fix. They also really know the technical end of their profession and when making decisions about maintenance for my newer Infiniti, I can really count on getting expert advise. I will continue to be a loyal customer, and I can't recommend them highly enough!! read more

This is my 2nd review of Hometowne and the service hasn't changed. Mark is one of the nicest guys you will meet. I went in there with a flat tire, full expecting it to need to be replaced. I needed it fixed as soon as possible so that I could pick up my kids from daycare that afternoon. Mark promised to work on it first. I received a call an hour later, and he was able to repair the flat and at no cost as i've brought all of my cars in there. Talk about a great way to start the day. Thank you Mark and thank you Hometowne auto. First class business. It's nice seeing an honest mechanic. I hope their business continues to flourish! read more

We recently had our Lexus repaired by Home Towne Auto. Lexus of Watertown had given us a detailed estimate over $6500. Home Towne found much of the estimated repairs were not necessary and repaired the vehicle for $1,500. The car runs great! These people could not be nicer. Quality work for a fair price. read more

I had a great experience. Pulled in yesterday with an almost dead battery. The owners were friendly and went out of their way to be welcoming. The shop is clean and there is a nice waiting area. Not only did they change the battery and check my tires for me - they even checked and re-entered my code so my radio would work! I highly recommend them ! Julie read more
