First time I walked in here, I needed to replace my travel mug. I found the most practical yet high end tea mug (that could also work for coffee) but also walked out with several other things. The most recent trip to PoMo, I stopped for another tin of salve (from a Indigenous BC business) that helps with my layers of pain management. The staff are always wonderful to chat with & if you like this store, definitely walk a little further. It's worth checking out the bigger sister store too (that one has more items focused towards kitchen & home function). According to other Yelpers, he seems to always be well-dressed. He also has a cute pet daschund who walks around the store. I love their tea selections here. My favorite is the Chocolate Strawberry tea bags in a tin can. I love loose leaf teas more, but I'm pretty lazy with cleaning out loose leaf teas, so I tend to get the tea cans with the tea bags. I alao enjoy browsing their soap, bath and skincare area. I love their Lollia and Tokyo Milk lotions, especially Tokyo Milk's "Rose", "Honey Moon" and "Let them Eat Cake" handcreams. Although a bit on the pricey side, this is my to-go to store for teas. The teas have strong great flavor, not like the weak tasting tea bags you get at grocery stores. I also like that there are no pushy sellers like the commission-hungry staff at Teavana, and the atmosphere at David's Tea stores feels minimal and cold. Nikaido feels so warm and friendly whenever I visit, and the staff leave me alone to browse for as long as I like. I highly recommend this boutique for tea lovers. You won't be disappointed!

Went back a different time and got the performance blend matcha, which tastes a little like cinnamon and has a grittier taste. Don't mind it but I prefer the syrup-y flavoured matchas more. The price isn't that cheap but honestly on par with the going rate for cafe drinks nowadays, which is basically close to $8/9 a drink......is nice for a splurge but wouldn't get it all the time. I ordered the Mango Matcha and I really liked the mango purée used as it was not too sweet, but fruity and flavourful. The matcha flavour is also strong and fragrant. The super matcha I found interesting as it contained their house made sweetener. I could not put a name to the flavour of sweetness until I read another review and realized it was cinnamon! Needless to say, I did not prefer the cinnamon and liked the mango much more. I have to return next time to buy their 1g measuring spoon!

A third guy helped me for mixing my chosen scents then sprayed me down with this extreme atomizer thing which left me smelling like a cloud of fragrance.
