    Set for silhouettes

We were excited to finally do this with our daughters. It's worth the wait. We had Lolita and it seems she has been a fan favorite for years after looking over reviews. Line can be a bit deceptive as they will do silhouettes off of photos. The couple in front of me had only a single child but 5 silhouettes thy wanted to do. Took us about an hour with like 5-6 people ahead of us. There is a little set up to put your phone to keep your child distracted. The process goes quick once you are inside.

Bob was amazing! We showed him a picture of our two pugs of their profile which felt like would be impossible and he just started cutting away! It was quick and personal. Thank you to everyone who also assisted Bob, they were kind and helpful.

The line is always crazy! But I get it. This is something that takes time to do. If you want a silhouette of your face and your families faces, you will need patience. The Disneyland Silhouette Studio is a unique experience, that is only do one time and be done with it lol At the end of the day, it's a piece of paper with a shadow of your face lol It's not gonna look exactly like you, because it's using negative and positive space to create this art. It's impossible to put in the detail to make this look realistic to you. So, the people that are upset about it not looking like them, I'm sorry. That does suck. But you've gotta be realistic about this. It's a silhouette. Not a picture. Not a painting. Not a sketch. So, it might look like you generally speaking. But yours might be very similar to someone else's silhouette too. Sure, there's some distinctions if you have a larger/ smaller nose, or a protruding/ receding chin. Those features can be seen easily with a silhouette. But, if you don't have features that stand out from the norm, then your silhouette might be more similar to others. This is still a fun concept and thing to do. I have realized that I don't care much for my silhouette and that's why I am not sharing the photo lol

This place is one of the two reasons my little boy and I visited Disneyland again after reading an article together. We have been to the park so many times; yet, we somehow walked by without realizing their existence this whole time. Such sacrilege! Cry foul, cry foul. So unlike everyone that flocked in hordes into every crevice within the park as the doors opened, we simply bee-lined our way into the gift shop that led to the little studio where this sweet magical art took place in the hands of gifted artists that cut and created this piece within a couple minutes. We awaited our turn, enjoyed our conversations with the different staff that were getting everything in place, and simply soaked in the magic that the park always exudes. A few minutes after the little one sat, the piece of art was complete. For just $12, the experience and the silhouette card...were definitely worth this visit we had randomly booked on a whim this very weekday.

Haiku: Disneyland Silhouette Studio Disney artistry Sweet framed silhouettes Kids, pets, you name it. --- I finally got around to getting my daughter's silhouette cutout done by a talented Disney artist. I was about 9th in line and I waited for about an hour. This is such a sweet Disney keepsake and souvenir of my daughter. Can't believe it's just $11.99 per person and the frame is $19.99. Tip: You can bring a profile photo (a printout or on your phone) of your kid, pet or SO and the artist can cut a silhouette. They don't have to be there in person! Just make sure the photograph is a clear profile shot.

11/10 would recommend! This was such a unique and cool experience at Disneyland. My friend had shown me her silhouette and I was sold! My bf and I waited in line for about 45 mins/1 hour. I didn't know what to expect! The studio is very small and there's only one artist so please be patient when you go. When it was our turn, Lolita (the silhouette artist) was so sweet. She did each silhouette in less than 10 minutes! She's so talented! I also got a silhouette of my friend's dog to gift her for Xmas and it turned out so perfect! The cost for each silhouette was $11.99. Each frame was $19.99. These make great personalized souvenirs or gifts!

Date of visit: May 20, 2023 One of the things we've always wanted to do at the Disneyland Resort was to get our silhouettes done at the Silhouette Studio. One of the most popular stores on Main Street, for $11.99 (and $20 extra for a custom frame), the talented silhouette artists will make your image in about 3-5 minutes, with an extra one thrown on for free. It was my lady's 50th birthday weekend; we passed by and saw that the line was pretty short and moving fast (as I mentioned, the artists move fast), so we decided it was time to get ours done. After you take your seat and keep looking forward - the activity book in front helps - you're done before you know it. And, we were able impressed at not just how fast our artist worked, but how detailed she did our silhouettes with her scissors. For a unique souvenir of your time at the parks, can't beat the Silhouette Studio

Lolita did such an amazing job creating the perfect silhouette of my baby girl. She was so sweet & was patient as my daughter was a bit wiggly & was able to engaged with us for the short period of time it took to cut out the silhouette. We have always wanted to get one of our daughter & are so happy we finally did! The whole process is about 5 minutes or so & definitely worth it! Annual pass-holder discounts apply here! -

Jan was amazing! I wanted a portrait of my two cats and dog and she did such a great job. She was super friendly and fun to talk to. This made my birthday. Thank you Jan!

Lolita was amazing. It was very late, end of a long day, and we were all tired and grumpy. Forgot to bring a hairbrush. Daughter could barely hold her eyelids open which you can see in the silhouette which was nevertheless simply gorgeous and astounding.

Jan did a fantastic job cutting silhouettes of my 2 fur babies.

I just stumbled across this place on Main street and looked it up online. The artists make the most amazing sihouette from live in person or from photos. I had her make 2. One of each of my dogs. It says it takes about 90 seconds to cut each, but for pups, it takes a few minutes... still amazing! I waited for about an hour in line and she finished both cuts in about 7-8 minutes. They turned out amazing. They offer framing options that run about $20 each. The frames didnt match anything in my house so I opted to frame them myself the cuts were $12 each and totally worth it. I would recommend taking the time to get yours done.

I love my Silhouette!! I used to have an annual pass to Disneyland but for whatever reason I did not want to wait it line for this and miss out on the other thousands of things you can do!!!! Granted the silhouette could kind of be any person with a ponytail! But it had some feature that do resemble me. For Disneyland the price is reasonable around $10 or so for the silhouette and and $20 or so for the frame. I'd say the frame is a must since how else can you display it plus it had a bazillion hidden Mickeys on it. I recommend doing this only if there's is no line or minimal. Also if you do you have long hair put it up in a pony tail for a more dramatic silhouette. They can also hold the frame for you till the park closes. The stores close an hour after all the rides are done so you should have time to pick it up.

I wish I had the name of the girl who did mine (my mom had them done for me while I was at the hotel), but she did an amazing job creating these silhouettes of my boys! I just provided a few pictures of their side profiles and she copied them perfectly

Ask the Community - Silhouette Studio

    What are the hours?

It's open from 11:00 am until 11:00 pm--at least for now, summer hours. The rest of the year, I believe it's open most of the day, but I'd check the hours early in the day.

Can they use a photograph for one of the silhouettes?

Up to how many people can fit in one frame?

The day I went, a family of 4 or 5 got theirs done in front of me. Mom, Dad and the young kids all in one frame. They have some examples shown in the shop so you can get a feel of what it would look like.

We met at our engagement shoot where he made us feel completely comfortable (we can be quite awkward!). The engagement photos came out beautiful and people loved our save-the-date photos! The wedding day was super hectic but Kevin was super PRO with handling the chaos. Dan was also great as our second photographer -he is always smiley! They were calm, reassuring, and knew exactly what they were doing. The photos are absolutely stunning, beautiful, light and airy. The lighting, composition, and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations. Looking through our gallery felt like reliving the entire day all over again, from the big moments to the small candid ones we didn't even realize were happening. We cannot recommend them enough!

Truth be told....I write this with a bit of a tear in my eye....not to get too melodramatic over a…read moreyelp review....but pictures...when done perfect and if your in a particular sentimental mood....can have that effect. Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look

For some reason things just didn't align well with my baby's naps and feedings that day so it was hard to manage a tired baby but they managed to get real good photos of my baby and the family. My baby didn't really smile much yet but they were still able to get smiling pictures of her too. Very professional and works so hard to get the best pictures. I was truly grateful for this studio and loved my experience. Also the picture quality was amazing!! The backgrounds were cute and the clothes were so adorable too!! The price point is reasonable and I'd say cheaper than some others for a better quality. I think the turn around time to receive the photos were faster than we expected too. Truly appreciate working with this photographer. He really seems to love what he does and we are blessed with these amazing photos!!! Couple things to note/tips: 1. Go when your baby can smile. Yes after their neck strength gets way better too. My baby still can't really smile yet and she's 4 months old. I really wanted to push having 100 day photos when she was 3.5 months old so neck strength and expressions aren't expected. 1a. Also go when your baby is well fed, pooped, rested, good condition, etc. makes a world of difference. 2. They give you a looooot of photos to choose from. Be prepared to be pleasantly overwhelmed with photos. If you get decision fatigue then ask your spouse to help. Cause I loved getting the full gamut of photos. 3. They have a wardrobe but if you want your baby to wear something specific, bring it! Their wardrobe is pretty cute tho and fits with their backgrounds. 4. They have set backgrounds to choose from in their studio. The backgrounds are really cute but if you're looking for something specific, unique, tailored to you, the studio setting might not be for you. But tbh all 100 day, dohl, event photos basically look the same...so I would think it's odd to expect something different. I've seen tons of beach engagement pics. Tons of dohl pics with the same backgrounds and balloons. So why complain about a studio pic with similar styles and backgrounds or lack of variety? You're already the unique and different baby/family. So there's that. 5. Bring a toy or something that can get your baby's attention. I realized belatedly my baby likes to stare at herself in the mirror. She also likes her little fox doll. If your baby has a preference for a toy, perhaps being prepared like that will help with the experience! 6. Match your clothes with your family and partner beforehand. Clothes, accessories and shoes too so they look cohesive in the photos! Belatedly realized my husband's shoes didn't match any of our family's and my son's also seemed a little too bright. Oh well. Overall I loved the photos! Thank you again for the awesome and kind experience!!!

We recently returned for my daughter's 2-year-old photoshoot, and this session was particularly challenging because she's currently in a strong stranger-danger phase. Other studios actually turned us away, but White Photo Studio was the complete opposite. The photographer was incredibly patient, calm, and understanding, and allowed us to take over two hours so my daughter could slowly get comfortable. There was absolutely no rushing. The photographer tried different approaches--introducing multiple toys, giving my daughter space and time, and eventually using bubbles, which finally helped her relax and open up.
