We booked a mini session with Kelsey and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. She was extremely professional and welcoming. The booking process was super simple, the session itself was easy and seamless, and she even got the photos back to us sooner than expected. My hubby and I aren't big fans of being in front of the camera, but Kelsey made us feel very at ease. She was also able handle our two girls (ages 6 and 3), who can be quite the handful. They quickly warmed up to Kelsey and she was able to get such nice candid and genuine smiles from them, which is quite the struggle most of the time. The girls had such a fun time, they're asking when the next photoshoot is going to be! Our session was right at sunset, which I think is a wonderful time to take photos. The location she chose was nice and secluded, with easy and plentiful parking. 15 minutes seems like it wouldn't be enough time to take many photos, but she was able to capture quite a lot for us, and it didn't feel rushed at all. We are extremely happy with the gallery Kelsey captured for us, will definitely keep her in mind for any future photography needs and won't hesitate to recommend her to our friends and family! Kelsey, we can't thank you enough! We absolutely LOVE all the photos!!! read more

I absolutely love our newborn photos taken by Kelsey! I chose Kelsey as our newborn photographer because I liked her work with the natural lighting / poses, she offered the option to come to our home and our dog was able to join us in the photos. I appreciate how her packages INCLUDING prices are listed on her website as opposed to the websites who require you to contact them for pricing. Kelsey was great at communicating via email and text message. She arrived right on time! Our dog was not very fond of the stranger in our home and our baby was still awake but Kelsey was so patient and everything ended up working out. With a newborn, our house was a hot mess but only parts of our room and nursery would be needed to be "clean" for the photos. Kelsey had some swaddle blankets on hand which I opted for since it was more decorative than the ones I had. She posed us in various ways and asked us if we wanted any particular shots. Kelsey made us feel comfortable which shows in our photos. Our photos arrived via email in the time frame given and I'm obsessed! Thank you for a great experience and our memorable family photos! read more

I had the pleasure of Kelsey capturing my maternity photo shoot memories and it was by far, the best decision and experience I made. After researching and being disappointed by other photographers, I'm so thrilled that Kelsey came into my life. Kelsey is professional, fun, creative, patient, responsive and caring. I love that we were both pregnant and she completely understood what I was going through. The Studio was a perfect location for the photo shoot and Kelsey was the cherry on top! She delivered my pictures via email one week ahead of schedule and made the entire process stress-free. Wholeheartedly THANK YOU to Kelsey! I recommend her for any photography needs if you want to work with someone who is prompt with getting back to you and who has a big heart who is really there to capture a special time in your life. read more

This was a completely last minute decision that I had to strongly convince my husband into, but oh my god am I so thankful we chose to take newborn photos and chose Kelsey to guide us. I cannot sing more praises about the experience as a whole, even my husband who hates photos enjoyed everything about the experience. Kelsey was patient and kind, made it all seem effortless at every step. Please please please consider her for your newborn photos, I promise you won't regret it even if you don't feel like you look your best as new parents read more

Had an amazing experience with Kelsey!!! She was beyond helpful picking a spot for photos and answering any questions I had very promptly. My wife and I took our 9 month old daughter to get photos done with Kelsey. Anyone who knows their babies knows 9 months is tough - between unpredictable wake windows and babies being untrusting of strangers, it can go south real quick. Add on to that, we only had 15 minutes. I was skeptical. WOW. WAS I WRONG. Kelsey not only made us feel totally at ease and was eternally patient with our fussy baby, the result was incredible. For an extremely low price point and 15 minutes of our time, we got pictures our family will treasure forever. This single service was enough to make me a customer for life. I cannot thank Kelsey and her team enough. read more

I had the fortunate opportunity to have a mini photo session for headshots with Kelsey at Sparks Studio in Huntington Beach. Kelsey was very warm and she made me feel comfortable right from the get-go. She is clearly an expert and was able to quickly offer varying poses and different studio backgrounds and crops that made it fun and not monotonous. I loved how my headshots came out! Her style made my headshots feel warm while still professional. Thanks Kelsey! I hope to work with her again with my future family portraits which is what she's known for. read more

We booked Kelsey for a family session. There are 18 of us and have not had family pictures done in a while! I researched a few photographers and narrowed it down to Kelsey. Her images just stood out to me so much! From the minute I filled out the inquiry form, Kelsey was responsive and worked with everyone's crazy schedule. On the day of our session, she helped so much in making sure we got ALL the groupings we wanted. She also did amazing at getting the large group shot - with 18 people, that is no easy task! We got our gallery last night and the images completely exceeded our expectations. We will absolutely be booking with Kelsey again, and I will refer her to anyone and everyone. She definitely captured the best memories for us! read more

We booked a mini session with Kelsey, which was a 15 minute timeslot for our family photos. Going in, it always feels like 15 minutes isn't long enough to get great photos, but Kelsey did a superb job of capturing all kinds of photos of our family. From detail shots of our newborn baby's hands and feet, to portraits of our young children, to multiple angles of our family, she blew me away with all the great photos that she was able to get in just 15 minutes! She's great at putting kids at ease. Within a few minutes into our session, my kids were giving her genuine smiles, which is so rare when they're dealing with strangers. We are so happy with how everything turned out! read more

Kelsey did both our maternity photos in Laguna Beach and our newborn ones when our little guy entered the world and these are hands down some of my most cherished photos. Not only was she so fun to work with, it's sometimes hard to find a photographer that you can just immediately be comfortable with and she is just that. She keeps things light and fun, while also going above and beyond to make sure you get those special memories captured. I can't wait to continue to work with her as our family grows and our little guy gets bigger and bigger! read more

Kelsey was amazing to work with! The whole process was simple from booking to getting our photo gallery. She kept me updated with detailed information of how to prepare and what to expect after the photoshoot. We booked a mini session for family/maternity photos and love how they all turned out! Our maternity and newborn photos(in home) were done by Kelsey. She truly is the best! So friendly and talented! She made us feel super comfortable, especially since we don't take professional photos often. I was on the fence about getting maternity photos done but I'm so glad we did! For the maternity photos, we decided on Heisler park, and it was so beautiful. I love her natural style, and she really captured us in the moment, nothing feeling staged. If you're planning on the in-home newborn photos, it worked out so well for us! With a very new baby, we weren't yet ready to leave the house and Kelsey was so kind and took amazing photos that we will seriously treasure forever. We have loved hiring Kelsey for our family photos on multiple occasions. She's so easy to work with and has so much talent. I love that she has such a natural style and is always looking for new ways to serve her clients. We've hired her to do a big extended family session with many kids and it was so worth it to have the kids listen to her instead of us trying to wrangle and bribe them to smile. We also hired her on a couple of occasions for mini photoshoots, which was also a great experience! Will always go back to her whenever we need photos done! read more

Captured Forever Photography gets 5 stars for Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value, and Friendliness! Having my graduation canceled due to the pandemic left me feeling unresolved and uncelebrated after such a huge accomplishment. I decided as soon as I could, I would take photos in my regalia to celebrate and capture this feat! I asked my local social media platform to recommend some people and Captured Forever Photography was amongst the many recommendations. I checked out EACH recommendation and fell in love with their portfolio and the stories that were told with their photos the best! Kelsey was very responsive and was able to recommend some great spots since she was so familiar with San Diego! She was efficient, kind, patient, and professional as we navigated crowds and sea lions to get our perfect shots. She was sure to warn me to stay out of their way and had a keen eye to those that blended into the sand and rocks. I felt comfortable the whole time. The photos came out great! I was so emotional looking at them because they perfectly captured my feelings about accomplishing this degree and being with my supportive spouse through it all. I can't help but smile each time I look through the photos and I am having a difficult time picking my "favorites" to print. I am so incredibly happy I went with Captured Forever Photography and would recommend them to others every time! read more

I found Kelsey when I was searching for a newborn photographer and we never looked back. She will be our photographer for as long as she will take us because she is wonderful! From our very first interaction Kelsey was kind and easy to work with. My son was born almost a month early and she was so flexible with timing to get our newborn photos in. My husband hates getting his photo taken but he doesn't mind going to Kelsey because she is so friendly and easygoing. At our photos last week he actually said "that was fun" We have used Kelsey four times and have always been extremely happy with our photos. This is especially true for our latest photos with my busy 18 month old. I struggle to get even one photo of him looking at the camera and she was able to get amazing photos of him actually smiling! I was blown away. I have recommended her to countless friends and family members and the only reason I wouldn't want to write her an enthusiastic five star review is because I'm worried all of the future photo shoot dates will get filled up and I won't get my spot!
