From start to finish, everything felt easy, relaxed, and enjoyable. Brittany has a natural way of making us comfortable during the shoot and provides great feedback. They offer a great selection of outdoor locations with beautiful backgrounds and lighting! Another thing we really appreciated was how quickly the photos were delivered each time. Even though the location was crowded with other people taking pictures (at least 5 other photographers), you wouldn't know it based on how the photos came out. The photos honestly make it look like we were the only people on the beach. In just an hour we had more than enough photos. The quality of his equipment and the photos themselves were fantastic. The photo experience itself was top notch. Kazuya was personable, funny, and my young kids found him to be very friendly. He even gave us a parking recommendation. Kazuya was very reasonably and fairly priced. We were so impressed with how quickly he finished the touch-up on all of our photos. And the download from WeTransfer was seamless. Great for him, but she wasn't able to get pictures of him without the swaddles which was unfortunate for me. She was friendly with us and super patient with our little one. Truth be told, she was even better at handling him than us haha. You can tell she is a pro at what she does and she took her time, allowing baby to be nursed when he was fussy and not rushing us at all. There were so many good pictures but they are very pricey so we ended up just getting the basic 8 pictures. Our family pictures turned out so good that even though we mainly wanted the pictures of the baby, we ended up picking 3 of the family poses. The other- plain and simply, high caliber of professionalism, authenticity, and warmth that I've had the pleasure to experience after hiring KLK to work their magic for my engagement and wedding photos at The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel, this past July. Firstly, my fiancé is not a fan of taking any kind of photos (downright hates the mere thought of it), but Paul changed that all for him during our short engagement and wedding photoshoot so that deserves an extra thank you, as I thought that was not possible. We stopped by on a weekday in the late afternoon and practically had the place to ourselves. Another family arrived shortly after, but it was still very relaxed and easygoing. The process was super simple. You can make a reservation, but we just walked in without any issues. We did the white background setup for 15 minutes, which was perfect and definitely a must if you're taking photos with little kids. There were a few technical difficulties during our session, but the staff member was incredibly accommodating. He paused the timer and gave us those minutes back so we didn't lose any of our shoot time. The pricing is great too! The package includes 2 people and 3 printed 4x6 photos of your favorite shots. Additional people are only $5 each, but they didn't charge us for our toddler or newborn, which was such a nice surprise. One of the best parts is that you get access to download every single digital photo from your session, not just a select few. Recently my US passport needed to be renewed so this photo studio was one of the few places that…read morestill open on Sundays after 4 PM. The photo studio is located inside AR Galleria (the main galleria entrance was locked on Sunday afternoon so I had to enter through the side door via Cafe Lowell). [Parking]: Easy and free parking in the large plaza. [Reservation]: I was able to call and book a same-day reservation on Sunday. Visitors can also make an online reservation via the studio's website. Upon arrival, I scanned a QR code and signed a waiver before the owner started my 5-minute photo session. [Price]: $27 for 4 physical copies and digital copies to download via email (must be downloaded within 7 days). I did not initially receive an email, but I emailed the owner the next day about the download link and he sent a follow-up email with the link within a few hours (the email was hidden in my spam folder). The email included all the pictures taken during the session. The shop also makes photo keychains ($4+ each). The studio also offers 15-minute and 30-minute self-portrait sessions. [Studio]: While I was here for a passport photo, the studio mainly operates as a self-portrait studio where customers take photos of themselves. This small studio has all the props and camera setup needed to make it happen. [Process]: The owner had me sit on a chair and took 7 pictures. Out of the 7 pictures taken, I was able to choose one for him to print while the rest of pictures can be downloaded via a link in an email. It was more important to receive a digital copy because the US passport renewal process requires applicants to upload a digital photo rather than submit a physical copy. I was able to use one of the digital copies and now that same picture will be on my passport for the next 10 years before the next renewal timeline. [Conclusion]: Overall it was an efficient process and I was able to walk in and out within 15 minutes. However, it would be helpful for the studio to provide additional entry instructions on the website when the main galleria entrance is locked.

I booked a newborn photo session with Kathleen after reading many positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience did not match those expectations. Kathleen is a kind person and was gentle with my baby, which I really appreciated. However, the quality of the photos was disappointing. The biggest issue was the poor framing -- in several photos, my husband's head or hands were cut off, while large portions of the images were just plain, empty background. The photos felt unbalanced and unprofessional. Even as someone without a photography background, it was clear the composition was off. When I reached out to express my concerns, Kathleen told me the edits would improve the photos. So I waited, hoping they would be fixed -- but unfortunately, the edited versions were still not satisfying. You simply can't fix poor framing or missing parts of a subject through editing. I had also requested a specific swaddle I had seen in her past work, but it wasn't available. I had to choose from just a few options that I didn't like. The session itself felt a bit rushed, which may have contributed to the lack of attention to detail in the photos. If professional-quality pictures and proper framing matter to you, I would recommend looking elsewhere. While Kathleen is sweet and tried to be comforting, the final results did not meet my expectations, and I regret booking such a special moment with someone who didn't deliver. read more

We had such a wonderful experience with Kathleen! We were a little nervous going into our family photo session with our newborn and our two-year-old, but she made the entire experience so easy and enjoyable. Kathleen was amazing with our newborn. She handled him with so much care, easily soothed him, and was able to get him comfortably posed for the photos, making him feel as relaxed as possible throughout the session. This is the second time I have booked Kathleen and again, she did not disappoint! As always, the studio is clean, she is very professional, and she has many different themes/colors to choose from. I booked a newborn session but also added my oldest daughter to take pictures with my newborn as well. She had a few ideas and themes/colors picked out before I arrived and when the session began, she showed me her ideas and asked for my opinion. If I did not like something, she did not hesitate to change it up and provide other ideas (I ended up loving her options and didn't change a thing!) Pictures of my newborn were taken first then we went to another part in the studio where pictures were taken with both of my daughters. This is the second session I have done with Kathleen and as always she does not disappoint! The first time I had a shoot with her was for my daughter's newborn photos and wow she made that moment So special . I will forever carry that memory close to my heart. One year later, I wanted to do a strawberry theme for my daughter's first birthday/cake smash photoshoot and she did an amazing job bringing my inspo to life. During the shoot, she was so patient with my little one and once again made it so special for us . As a birthday present, she added on a free bubble bath . My daughter loved it and the videos I was able to take were so adorable. Additionally, Kathleen is so responsive and answers any questions you may have in a timely matter. Kathleen has done for photos for us in various occasions, the most important ones were when our triplet baby girls had just left the NICU. Being born at 32 weeks and leaving after just 4 weeks you can imagine how tiny and fragile they were, but Kathleen amazed us with the care and love she had for our babies. The studio was warm and cozy, she wore a mask, and most importantly she created the most beautiful memories for us. A year later she took their first year smash cake photos and once again, she did an amazing job. This year, we did a mommy and me photo shoot and she made me feel beautiful while still being a mom. This is the second time my family has done family photos with Kathleen over the past 6 months. Kathleen at the photo studio is truly exceptional, and we had an outstanding experience during our Easter mini-session. Our 2-year-old son can be challenging to work with due to his impatience and fussiness, but Kathleen stood out among the three photographers we have worked with. She skillfully kept our kids focused on the props, provided clear directions on posing, and engaged them in playful interactions to maintain their attention. I just had the most wonderful mommy & me session to celebrate my daughter's third birthday, and I can't say enough about Kathleen. I was running late and called ahead to let her know, she was so gracious about it and told me she would wait. That set the tone for the whole experience. She never made me feel rushed, and when my toddler wanted absolutely nothing to do with smiling at first, she didn't skip a beat. I came across Kathleen's work on Instagram and booked an appointment for my son's first birthday smash cake session. I asked if we could possibly do an Indiana Jones theme, and she said yes. The booking process was super simple, the session itself was easy and seamless, and she even got the photos back to us sooner than expected. My hubby and I aren't big fans of being in front of the camera, but Kelsey made us feel very at ease. She was also able handle our two girls (ages 6 and 3), who can be quite the handful. They quickly warmed up to Kelsey and she was able to get such nice candid and genuine smiles from them, which is quite the struggle most of the time. The girls had such a fun time, they're asking when the next photoshoot is going to be! Our session was right at sunset, which I think is a wonderful time to take photos. The location she chose was nice and secluded, with easy and plentiful parking. 15 minutes seems like it wouldn't be enough time to take many photos, but she was able to capture quite a lot for us, and it didn't feel rushed at all.
