With the expert help of Janelle, we chose 2 meats (prosciutto and salami) and 5 cheeses (ale cheddar, cheese curds, a wonderful white cheddar, Brie, and a mozzarella). Included on the board was fresh fruit, such as strawberries, grapes, and dried apricots. There was an assortment of crackers and 2 types of crostinis. The fig jam was amazing! I enjoyed the Kalamata olives and pickled cauliflower. The board was stunning when delivered to our table. We also ordered the Pearfect panini. It has turkey, pear slices, goat cheese and spinach. It is so good. We ordered the French onion soup. This is quite different than what we are aided to, but tasted wonderful. The only issue is it was not hot enough. For a side we chose the Mac n cheese. This was my granddaughter absolute favorite! The restaurant is clean and welcoming. There not many seats. While we were there. People ordered to go. I look forward to returning to try more cheeses!

One thing I loved the most, besides the delicious selection, was the staff gives you a list of what's on the board AND they support other local businesses!!!! Free samples caught my attention and striking up friendly conversation with the owner Karla MacLeod really showed you can deliver wonderful customer service without being pushy. Loved it! I was ECSTATIC to see she sells Nevada Brining Company pickles - handcrafted in the Silver State - Wahoo!! I just watched a story on channel 2 news about this start-up pickling genius and it was on my list to check out. Fell into my lap visiting this boutique. I bought the Boozy Pickle with Whiskey and Fresno Peppers and the fast selling Ruby Red Onions Sweet & Sour. Prices are reasonable and lower than what other outlets charge for this popular pickling company. I can't wait to try the cauliflower when she gets it from the manufacturer. I appreciate the attention to detail wrapping each jar in purple gift wrap paper and placing into a crafty gift bag. I'm coming here for a last minute gift ideas! Really convenient they take plastic considering how small this establishment is. What's cash? Next time, I'm going for the red spicy salt for Bloody Marys!

They were very helpful in choosing what to order! The bison comes from their ranch in Wyoming, the owners brother runs the ranch! The elk comes from a group of family farms they have been doing business with for over 40 years in New Zealand. (Wow!) And the in house ground beef is mostly Niman ranch and Creekstone farms. Sometimes a thick, juicy burger is just what you want. You won't find a puny smashed patty here. Only delicious, perfectly cooked, thick patties. The extra $6 to make it a double is totally worth it. I was even impressed by the fries! Super crispy and well seasoned. The chicken tenders were not overcooked, as you find at many places. The chicken was still very moist while maintaining a crispy exterior. Great choice for your butchery needs, but also a great place to grab some very tasty lunch!

I have only been almost squished about 3 times in the last 10 years. Not bad for Reno. CONVENIENCE: They are no longer open 24 Hours. The Pharmacy window is only open 9:00am to 8pm with a half hour closure for lunch. The rest of the store still cares a huge collection of stuff. Items that apparently are "shoplifting magnets" ie most beauty products are now in locked shelves. ATMOSPHERE There seem to be fewer "dodgy" patrons than in the past. Shelves are better displayed and don't seem as cramed. It is clean and well lit. SERVICE: Still pretty slow, and staff has been drastically reduced. I have had no problems with either the pharmacy or the front checkout, it just takes a while. On the plus side, staff are friendly and professional. My insurance no longer covers prescriptions from Walgreens. I just learned that Walgreens is not affiliated with the large third-party Pharmacy Benefit Manager. So the convenience and location have been major factors in me continuing to shop here.
