Cherry Bomb Catering is AMAZING! They recently catered an event I went to and I loved it. The fruit was super fresh, the chocolate bark was incredible (I still crave it), and they had a nice assortment of fresh juices. I even took an extra box home to my sister and she loved it. Such a great snack to graze on.

It's way too much fun working with Cherry Bomb and it's quite affordable too! I recommend everyone do it! Recently I planned a birthday outing for my wife and after realizing how close Cherry Bomb was to the venue and how hard it was going to be to get individual orders from a local restaurant, I had to reach out. After a few questions about the style of meal and service desired, Cherry Bomb sent over menus with sooo many delicious options! We went with a grazing board plus four heavy apps (sliders, tacos, skewers) and selected the Spanish Grazing Board, Mojo Pork tacos with pineapple habanero and relish, red wine Braised Short Rib tacos, Buffalo Chicken sliders with blue cheese aioli and carrot celery slaw and Steakhouse Tri tip with caramelized onion and basil aioli. We happened to have two vegan guests and they also made two separate orders similar to ours without blinking an eye! It was SO MUCH food and all so delicious! Everyone was impressed with it and we were so happy supporting this local business. I've always assumed catering would be expensive too, but it was quite reasonable! This is especially true when considering it was delivered, set up, and such a sizable portion for the number of guests we were feeding. Now I'm looking for an excuse to do this again!

We had hired this catering company for my intimate wedding in town, and it was great working with them! It was an outdoor venue, so the food got cold really quickly, which was pretty unfortunate. The chicken was really dry as well. The tri tip was cooked nicely, and the vegetables and potatoes were DELICIOUS. Again, just wish the warm foods were actually kept on a heater. We went with the standard 2 protein, 2 side, 1 salad buffet style combo, and I felt pricing was high, but you are also paying for the staff and workers as well, not just the food. They were nice to pack up any leftovers and give them to us, so no food went to waste, so that was much appreciated!

I have employed Dawn of Cherry Bomb catering about 5x since 2015 benefiting SPCA , Humane Society and Options Vet. They all do such wonderful things. Dawn and her team have always been easy to work with, no matter how the RSVP's kept changing. Their business does take out meals and catered events at their business on Longley. NO matter how big or small ( ours was 53), she can do it all! Give Dawn a call or drop by her business at 4826 Longley Lane

I was referred to Cherry Bomb by a friend. They do a great job of catering for occasions big and small. Kayla at the front desk was so pleasant, professional and proficient.

WALLET BOMB, not Cherry Bomb. Charged $1480 one thousand four hundred eighty dollars for four platters. Two medium charcuterie trays ($27 at CostCo), a tray of dried fruit, one dessert tray. Oh and one tray of pretzels and one tray of crackers. This is not a joke - the entire display is pictured below. If I bought it at CostCo, it would have cost $110! People left the annual holiday party starving. Huge disappointment. I complained and hit a wall. Use some other company or take a trip to Costco yourself and save $1000

Yum yum! We ordered two types of sliders (bbq pulled pork and tri tip), two dips (artichoke and beer cheese) to enjoy on Super Bowl Sunday. Easy online ordering and pick up the day before. The order came with easy reheat instructions. The rolls came sliced and in a nice sturdy container. The meats labeled and in containers to reheat. The artichoke dip came with cubed fresh French bread and the beer cheese came with nice soft bite sized pretzels. All the food was really good. The beer cheese my face and was so addictive with bits of meat inside. My only qualm was I think the pretzel bites to beer cheese ratio was slightly off. I wanted more pretzel bites :) All in all it was great to have a great get together without having to deal with a bunch of cooking and clean up!

The end... those dried mangos were awesome!

Last night we did Zoom charcuterie building from Cherry Bomb Catering and was it ever fun! I will definitely see if Cherry Bomb Catering will continue to carry the charcuterie dish as it was delicious, even the edible flowers were tasty snd fun to try. As you can see in our photos, the 2 (adults) of us devoured the tray we made. It definitely was enough for two adults... and 1.5 bottles of wine (not included of course). Great time we had! Thanks for hosting it YELP!

Cherry Bomb does family meals for delivery! In times of covid and a new baby, meal delivery options sure are appreciated! When our dear friends from out of state asked if they could send a meal upon the arrival of our son, we suggested they check out cherry bomb. Well we are so glad they did! They sent us a beautiful dish of chicken, artichokes and sundried tomatoes in a cream sauce over zoodles. For dessert, a beautiful fruit cobbler. Everything was delivered hot and the food was absolutely delicious! One of the best meals I've had in a while. If you're looking for a delivery option with comparable prices to ordering to Uber eats, I highly suggest you check this out!

Cherry Bomb was an amazing company to work with, when planning my wedding. A couple of years ago, my wife (girlfriend at the time), asked me to come with her to an event at the Stylish Scribe. The shop is really nice and all, but as a man who was not planning a wedding at the moment, it was only able to hold my attention for so long. What did keep my attention however, were the amazing apps being passed around the room. As the only man in the shop at the time, the servers noticed I was devouring the apps that all of the other patrons were too modest to eat, and started bringing me an endless parade of snacks. Those apps were provided by Cherry Bomb and I never forgot how good they were. About one year ago, when my wife (fiancée at the time), and I began planning our wedding we discussed one and only one caterer; Cherry Bomb. Our experience was great right from the start. Very early on we had a call with the owner Dawn. We went over expectations and options, it was a great conversation that left my wife and I feeling very confident in our decision. Cherry Bomb offered us a variety of menus and also made sure we knew that we were not bound by only predetermined menus, and that she and her head chef Kelsi would be happy to help us curate any menu we wanted. About five months ago, my wife (fortunately still fiancée at the time), and I were knee deep in pandemic wedding planning. For those who haven't experienced it, a pandemic will wreak havoc on wedding plans (all plans really). At this point we had endured a sea of changing regulations and rising cases. We had considered a dozen different plans for our reimagined wedding. One thing we never had to worry about however, was our partnership with Cherry Bomb. Dawn stayed in touch with us throughout the process and kept us up to date with all of their COVID compliance policies and made sure we knew whenever a change was made. This is the way business should be done in times of uncertainty and I can't express how comforting that was to us. Even after we broke up with our original venue, Cherry Bomb didn't waver. All Dawn needed to know was where and when she would be needed. About four months ago, my wife (yeah, still fiancée at the time), and I invited our parents to join us for a very safe and very fun tasting. We were the first to enjoy their new facility on Longley. This was my second experience with Cherry Bombs amazing hospitality and they made everyone in our party feel extremely welcome. About three and a half months ago, my wife (finally), and I were sitting down to enjoy our wedding meal with fifteen guests. Since we were never pressured into selecting our menu early, and we had about 75 less guests than planned, we were able to upgraded our menu to a five course meal with filet mignon and lobster as the main course. The food was delicious and the servers were very attentive. Every one of our guests received special attention. My wife and I were treated like royalty. I have no doubt that we made the right decision by hiring Cherry Bomb .

Choosing Blend as our caterer was easily one of the best choices we made for our wedding day!…read moreWorking with Whitney and the Blend team was an absolute pleasure from the very beginning. They were always quick and responsive to answer our questions and the ease of scheduling our tasting was so easy! We loved that the tasting was an option and we both agreed this was easily our favorite part of the planning process. The only difficult aspect was selecting final proteins, sides, and appetizers because they're all SO good that you wish you could choose them all. The catering team on the day of the wedding were so freaking sweet. They were flexible, rolled with the rain, and didn't skip a beat on timing or set-up. It was important to us to attend our cocktail hour (in lieu of photos and missing out on guests), but as an extra benefit - the second I'd finished an appetizer, the Blend team was magically at my side to give me another. Truly, 10/10 service! In an unexpected moment, one of the Blend catering staff had congratulated us on a beautiful wedding and had then said: "They say rain is good luck on your wedding day because it washes away all the hardship that's come before." I've previously heard that 'rain on your wedding day is good luck', yet I'd never heard the second part of the saying or 'why' it's good luck. She couldn't have known our story, but my husband's a Marine and we've been together for 11 years through countless deployments, exercises, and overseas assignments. Her sharing that with us meant so much and it's stuck as one of the profound moments where I felt incredibly present and rooted on that day. Not only that moment, but all of the Blend staff were so kind and present with all our guests. I would see them laughing and joking and our guests could not stop raving about how good the food was!! They also LOVED that there was the option to go back for seconds. Each of the Blend staff at one point had complimented my dress (it was black!) and they all made me feel beautiful and seen in so many ways. As the late night bites were passed around and one of the trays emptied, the Blend girls joined us on the dance floor and it was such an epic blast. On the logistics front, Blend delivered yet again. We had 2 guests with allergies and 2 guests with dietary preferences and coordinating their needs were so easy. We also discovered one of our guests had a tonsillectomy 3 days before our wedding, so we messaged the Blend team to see if they could make any last minute accommodations and again - they delivered! From the food, to the service, to their people - Blend is one of the best choices you can make for your wedding. I can't recommend them, their food, or their staff enough. Our final selection choices: - Appetizers: Korean beef short rib wrap, pork belly skewer with maple bourbon glaze (MY FAVE), and the tuna tostada (my second fave!) - Mains: The gochujang buttermilk fried chicken thighs and New York steak with au poivre sauce - Sides: Mashed potatoes (we LOVED the smashed potatoes during our tasting, but opted for mashed instead to dip the protein in, IYKYK), grilled asparagus. - Salad: Honey crisp salad - Drink station: apple cider, strawberry lemonade, and cucumber water (This was also such a huge hit for our guests that don't drink! They loved having more options than just soda or water.)

Best caterers in Reno? I certainly think so!…read more I've had the pleasure of enjoying the culinary creations from blend catering at many many many events throughout the years and I finally had a chance to have them cater one of my own! I was looking to host a 40th birthday party for my wife and reached out to the professionals at blend catering to help craft a menu. I knew that I wanted the menu to be entirely gluten-free and be something that could be vegan friendly. They directed me to the Mediterranean section of their menu which has clear influences from Israel and I got really excited because this also happens to be the type of cuisine that my wife loves. We had that za'atar chicken Shawarma, spice cauliflower and carrots, dill infused rice, freshly made hummus and a beautiful Israeli salad featuring a ton of mini heirloom, tomatoes, shaved, radish, and cucumbers all in a tangy vinaigrette, and 100% of the menu is gluten-free and everything except for the chicken was also vegan! The team at blend delivered everything to the venue and set it up in chafing trays for easy service. They provided tongs and spoons necessary for serving the food and we brought our own plates and silverware to make sure that was on brand for the party. The feedback on the food was incredible and even though we ordered food for the exact number of guests that were in attendance, there was even still enough food left over to provide one or two meals afterwards! This crew is top-notch and I recommend everybody do their catering with blend!

Not a bone in one of them. Paired with the dirty rice side and a corn bread muffin, this was a meal I haven't had since I left Arkansa over 20 years ago. The catfish was great! The rest of our party was generally pleased. The fried potato wedges were really done nicely, and cold mashed potatoes were excellent. Oddly, must have been an off night, the brisket was chewy than gas station jerky. That's anomalous for this restaurant though, this was the second time I've been here, and it wasn't like that last time. I like the simple clean decor. Not gaudy, not overly done, clean and neat. The service is generally good! Oddly, each time we had a male server, there is a curt attitude to them. The female staff were great though. Polite, attentive and willing to help. One server assisted excellently with a language barrier and the menu. Thank you miss. All in all. Turning into a favorite BBQ place. Well try here one more time to see about consistency. We sat in a booth in the bar area. Our first mistake may have been skipping the $35 Feast for 2-sday special and ordering from the lunch menu instead. My husband chose the Texas beef brisket sandwich with BBQ chips, and I ordered the two meat combo with pulled pork, burnt ends, and coleslaw. There was only one server in the bar area, so it took a while for our food to arrive, but it did come out hot. As for the food, the pulled pork was tasty but didn't really have that smoked flavor. It reminded me more of something I could make in a slow cooker. The burnt ends were disappointing. I'm used to them being caramelized with a bit of a crust, but these were soft and even a little mushy. The coleslaw was good. My husband felt the same about his brisket. It lacked smokiness and was a bit too soft. The chips were tasty, but didn't have much BBQ seasoning. Although Famous Dave's is close to our house, we're willing to drive a little farther for better BBQ.
