Due to the drought, the trees in my front yard were severely stressed and began releasing sugars as a natural reaction, which attracted hundreds of thousand of ants. Eventually, the ants began to scavenge inside my home for sustenance. I had thousands of ants entering my bedrooms and pantry. Originally, I scheduled with Clark's Pest Control, but then found reviews about them relating to poor service and costly treatments (quotes are free, treatments vary but were around $300-$400). I stumbled upon Silencer Pest and decided to give them a call instead. The owner, Rickee, quickly responded to my call and visited the same day. Rickee is extremely knowledgeable about pests, weeds, pesticides, and herbicides with almost a decade and a half of experience running his own pest/weed management business. He worked at Clark's Pest Control before going independent and was educated in agronomy. In addition, Rickee is just an amazing person who's very personable and friendly. What was supposed to be a 15 minute treatment turned into a 2.5 hour visit filled with great conversation. Rickee treated my home with a pesticide that is incredibly safe around pets and children/babies (he can explain better what it is). My treatment was a fraction of the cost of what Clark's would have charged. Also, Rickee offers a 4-month warranty for his ant treatment. Knowledgeable, affordable, friendly and a U.S. military veteran! My mom had a BIG problem with rats and mice. I live out of state, so was not familiar with local companies. I found Silencer Pest Management online and gave them a call. Rickey, the owner, answered the phone and came out the same day. He assessed the property and gave recommendations as to what my mom needed to do as well as identifying access points of these critters. Rickey explained in detail the type of bait he uses and that it is SAFE for use with pets. (Dogs, cats, birds, etc). This was a very important factor for my mom, as she has two outside dogs.
