I've used Signature Pools for 6 years. The are extremely reliable and very responsive. With a limited pool season, when something goes wrong (broken heater, leak, etc.) you don't want to be waiting a week or two for someone to show up. Signature has always been out within a day when I have called with a problem. The only complaint I would have is that they don't communicate very well, either with the customer or even within the company. They just opened our pool which took 3 days (outstanding!) from taking the cover off, cleaning, vacuuming, getting the heater working and a tile repair. Unfortunately, none of the guys seemed to know what the other guys were doing, so one guy would add water and then the next guy would drain it and then one guy would put the pumps on an override setting and then the next guy would not know how to take it off. Have been a customer for 10yrs. Signature did my installation and has done all my openings, closings and repairs since. If you use them long enough, any service provider will have some issues. I have had some complaints in the past 10yrs but every single time Signature took steps to make it right. They are honest, fair and always treated me like they valued my business. I rarely recommend anyone but I would definitely recommend Signature. read more

Incompetent or Dishonest either quality is not what you want in a service provider. We have done a lot of business with all sorts of service providers and have never had an experience like what we did with Bruno. We hired him to put a pool in our backyard, as we started working with him there were many alarm bells on his greed that I should have caught. As an example he finished the patio which he said he would do as part of the pool job. He finished it with concrete which was above and beyond my expectation but then handed me a bill of 19,000. How can someone spend your money like that without asking. I paid him the full amount but got upset that you can't just spend money like that, first give me an estimate and then go ahead with the job. After that his colors seemed to change. On several occasions he came to us and asked us for money for stuff that was spelt out in the contract. Once we would show him the itemized language in the contract he would get angry and act like he is doing us a favor to finish the job. Finally one fine day he asked us for money on pool equipment that was also spelt out in the contract that we had paid for. When we showed him the contract yet again he just refused to do the work unless we paid him more. We finally fired him and hired another pool company to finish the job. They have since found multiple areas where his work had to be redone which has costed us even more money. If you are going to hire him please call people not recommended by him to get the real scoop. We found after the fact that this is a repeat pattern since two other parents in my daughter's school had the same issue. read more
