I was looking for a paver to have installed into a new patio area behind our house. This was our first time their. Please note, they have big trucks in the area picking up products but their was plenty of parking in front of their building. The staff was friendly and helpful. Their show room was huge with a verity of items to pick from. The place had a wonderful layout of visual concepts to fit your needs both inside your house and outside such as patio stone or walkways etc... Although I had a small project, they took the time to answer my questions and concerns. They had a comfortable sit down reading area so I could review the brochures on the products they sale/promote. I took the time to compare different brands of pavers. I was able to get my questions answered and have the literature to keep for my records. No rushing or pushing any sale onto me. I was able to take my time and think things over. We picked out the paver that would serve us well over time and hopefully outlive us. I was able to give the info to our mason who did the measurements on the area we were having it installed, he placed the order with O & G on a Thursday and was able to pick it up on the following Monday morning at the brick yard. (Please note O & G will deliver to you as well.) The masons had it installed the same day and it looks fantastic! I will be returning to O & G again come spring to have them help me pick out a "High Gloss" sealer to coat over my pavers so I can enjoy a shiny finish for summer. (** This company that makes these pavers recommend waiting for 6 months after installing before applying any sealer over their bricks.)

Hired this company in September 2021 to install a patio and pave my pool area . while initially the work was satisfactory, the patio only lasted for one pool season. It subsequently caved in by the following summer. It is now 2024 and I have notified the owner of the issue without any resolution. originally I was promised someone would be by to address, but he has now stopped responding to my calls, voicemails, and texts. It has now been two Summers with no resolution . This area is unusable, with four children this is clearly a safety issue. Even more disappointing he lives within a mile of me.

To give us more privacy, I was looking into how we close fill the space between and I'm so glad I asked Hilmer. Hilmer and team deconstructed and moved (!!) one of the pillars to create a narrower opening where we added a gate and then extended the stone wall to enclose the entire yard. I was so nervous how this would look, but the stonework matches perfectly and we've been getting tons of compliments. When I was uncertain how to install a gate, Hilmer brought new hardware and drilled into the stone to set it up, no extra charge. Thank you Hilmer for completing our yard!!

Thank you Harold Barnes for a huge job well done!…read more Our story: We bought our house over a year ago and it's taken us time to get organized with all of its projects so we can put it back to its original condition so it's maintained. We contacted Harold in August to come over to our house for an over view of our stone back patio that needed re-grouted along with the outside fire place and our drive way stone wall need re grouted/repair. We also talked to him about getting our drive way sealed and pavers put down in a new patio area on our property. He was able to get back to us right a way on an estimate of the whole job. Please note this is a huge job that would take several weeks. We were able to get schedule for the month of Sept and it was all complete (the drive way sealed last as they exited last). We feel Harold's cost was reasonable. He took the time to show us issues that required repair. He answered any questions we had and concerns. His team was friendly, always on time and finished a job well done. Most of all, they respected our home as if it were theirs. They took the time to clean up after themselves every day and even in the end they made sure everything (patio furniture and trash in the can) was put right back into place. That means a lot to us because we love our home here in Stamford CT! What a pleasure having them over 6 days a week for several straight weeks. Everything went smooth and it was a job well done!
