I called Signature Mobile Notary at around 12:50 pm on Halloween to see if there happened to be same-day availability for one signature. I wasn't really expecting much because, in general, it's unrealistic to assume you can get same-day service, especially if someone travels to various appointments. Fortunately, when I called and gave my address, Simarjit happened to be near the area and was able to fit me into his schedule. He got to my place in less than 20 minutes. Simarjit was friendly, conscientious, and considerate (even asking if he needed to take his shoes off). The whole process was quick, maybe 15-20 minutes. The total cost for one signature was $80, and he did accept credit card. My guess is that the price varies based on where you're located and how many signatures you need notarized. Overall, I had a great experience, so if I ever need to get anything notarized again, I would definitely use Simarjit again. Note: Dont expect that he'll come within 20 minutes because I just got extremely lucky. read more

Don't think, just call. Simarjit is exactly what you hope for --amazing at communicating (phone & text), punctual, and most importantly, knows the documents you put in front of him. This last part is really key -- the best notaries are very familiar with a wide variety of documents, and they will make sure that you get all the signatures in the right places. My first time using a mobile notary. I was only in Berkeley for a few hours to handle a document with an elderly friend of mine. Simarjit was punctual, friendly, and flexible with my schedule. He was also very thorough and asked my elderly friend several questions to make sure I wasn't taking advantage of him. I like that kind of honesty in a business and individual. The rates were reasonable and the entire transaction went smoothly. Thank you very much for your professional service! read more

We'd been dragging our feet on notarizing some documents for quite a while and finally hit Yelp to find a mobile notary - so glad we found Simarjit! He was friendly, prompt, explained to us what he was doing at every step, and made sure we understood. His rates were very reasonable and we'd definitely call him again for any notary needs we have - and the process was so painless that maybe next time we won't wait so long :) read more

I had a complex Notary challenge for an overseas lawyer. Simarjit gave me options over the phone and made recommendations. He was - fortunately -was able to drop by within 1/2 hour, even on a Saturday! He was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. Yes, costs a little more than UPS but then he comes to your place - and doesn't have the "doing you a favor" attitude of the UPS Store folks. Highly recommend. read more

This gentleman is not only the best mobile Notary in Berkeley/Oakland and the East Bay, he is the best Notary, period. He is thoughtful, kind, efficient, arrives on time, is reasonably priced. We have used him twice now and we can not speak highly enough of what a wonderful man and what a great service Signature Mobile Notary provides. read more

I pretty much picked Simarjit Manhas at random from yelp reviews. I called him and his price was reasonable. Mostly, he impressed me about how quickly and conscientiously he responded to my initial inquiry. We had a lot of documents to sign, not only for ourselves, but our witnesses also needed his services. When he showed up, he was so conscientious and so on top of everything, so organized and meticulous, so polite and friendly, that I was beyond being merely impressed. in No sense was he acting as a lawyer, but everything he did indicated a strong familiarity with our documents and what needed to be on them. As far as I was concerned, he was far more useful than our actual lawyer was. If you need a mobile notary, this is your man. It was well worth it to pay the house call fee, and get so much taken care of. read more

Ended up going with someone else as they weren't available to come but were prompt in reaching out.

Very professional, friendly, and responsive. I requested service and had my documents stamped within just a couple of hours.

Simarjit called me right away after I emailed them, was in my office literally 15 minutes later. I signed, had two co-workers as witnesses and Simarjit took care of everything else. I was lucky being physically in between two appointments in the area at the right time, but I get the feeling this is the way he works regardless. I rarely need to use mobile notary services so I thought finding one on short notice would be a pain. I called Signature Mobile Notary and was able to confirm an appointment that day.
