    I've been with Dish for 4.5 years. I was 100% fed up with the DVR I have had for over 4 years. I…read morerequested a replacement as this was a troubled device just turning off at any moment if it felt like it. The response from Tech support was always the same - unplug the power cord and replug. If that doesn't do it then they will reset it remotely and if that doesn't work you may have to replace the DVR. After a call to customer service and a lot of strong persuasive discussion, a replacement was sent. After 2 months of use, other issues with lost recordings and a week of no service and continued power on / off ghost events, I called again and said I'm done and will shop for a replacement company. Of course my bill went up significantly as the 24 month term was over and the customer service representative said there were no discounts available even if I re-upped to a 24 month commitment. So after comparing all the other offerings out there on a price and channel selection matrix made with the help of ChatGPT, I was prepared to move on. I made my last call in to to cancel the system and on the other end of the call was a wonderful woman who answered my call; Michelle in the Phoenix retention department. She was so helpful and felt my pain. We spoke for a while and she addressed my concerns. Fast forward: I'm back with Dish for 2 more years because of Michelle period. I hope Dish fully appreciates this Human being as much as I do. Thank you Michelle!

I purchased the phone over 2 years ago at the same location and have over the course of that time had a few replacements. I have had excellent service over the course of the 2 years I have frequented the location with the exception of today. I went in around 11:45am and waited a couple of minutes for another customer to complete their transaction. The rep pulled my account and told me I had been given the incorrect replacements on my phone over the course of the last 2 years and she could not replace if I did not have the original receipt of the screen saver I purchased June 17, 2022 because she did not have record of it being purchased. I said I have never had an issue with the 3 or 4 reps I have dealt with previous visits to the store and she said well they gave you the wrong thing. I was like really all 5 did not know what they were doing? So she went to the back to place a call, 30 minutes later the rep comes out and says I am waiting on a call back I will call you when I receive an answer. I mean what answer just give me a replacement as my plan has and mind you I pay for. So 4:45 pm I have heard nothing back from her and go back to the store. She said oh I shredded your number I wrote down by accident no sorry nothing! So she brings up my account and even questions that I purchased the phone there! Then she finds it on my account but cannot find the screen saver detailed receipt from the original purchase. Again 5 other reps were able to locate the account info no problem! Never going back there again!! Verizon here I come because the rep never apologized nothing I said I am taking my business to Verizon and she could have cared less! What a POS!!!
