I called (w/ my local sounding voice) and they returned the call immediately. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to let it go.... asked them for a bid. They responded. We collected 4 bids for our urgent roofing job. Their's was lowest. We accepted their bid. Met and agreed to pricing, scope, etc. Then they strung us along for nearly 6 weeks - not doing the work - (even though there was a hole in our roof!!) Then they said they could start within a day or so and said they wanted to put the agreement in writing .... okay....but they sent us a contract that changed the payment plan we'd previously agreed to (Other terms remained though). They set new terms that in essence we pay it all up front! So we wrote Thru it and reminded them agreed to terms from the earlier discussions and sent it back. And then they just dropped the job! ...no further reply! nada. We were back to square one - with high winds and rains potentially wrecking our home!
