Went to exchange a shoe which didn't fit for something else. Because I used a Visa gift card and didn't have it anymore, they issued a store credit. Which was fine. I tried on some jackets because I wanted a packable longer one for winter. But none were available in my size in the brands I preferred. I did find three other jackets which I liked. Everyday wear. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Received a pair of joggers for Christmas. Wore them for maybe 3 hours and the right pocket zipper literally fell off!! Looked like defective zipper installation. I purchased a water raft, got it all the way to the river float and could not blow it up because the seam had not been sealed. Had my receipt took it back in and I was told that I could not return it because it was used I said no it wasn't used because the seam wasn't put together, so there was no way to blow it up and hold air so it is not a used raft. She told me that I would have to take it up with the company. Are you kidding me? Really do you want me to contact somebody from a foreign country about something I'm buying in Castle Rock CO when you're selling their defective product ? Scam business pay a little more and get real customer service at REI or Target, Walmart anyplace but this scam operation selling defective goods with no returns!!! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Tried to return an 3 in one charger (with my receipt) that was purchased last week and does not work AT ALL only to be told that I can't return used electronics. I said "but it's a faulty item and does not work" and the manager told me they don't take electronics that have been used and I needed to call the manufacturer. NO WHERE on the receipt OR in the store does it say this. She refused to refund me. I said to her "so if I had lied and just said that I didn't want it anymore you would have refunded me?" and she said "yes". But instead since I was honest and told her it was faulty so no one else has this issue, she won't refund me. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT SIERRA AGAIN. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. They don't have anybody working. The manager summer is an absolute asshole. She checked me out with the most rude attitude smelling like cigarettes clearly they just hire anyone here. She was so passive aggressive when I'm a regular I should be treated with respect. Great stuff, but ugh the lines! Never short lines! You can see lots of people working but only 2 people actually checking out taking money. There were 7 people ahead of me. Line moves slow! Sigh. I only come during the week! Never weekends or evenings, lines are worse. read more

My first time at the TJX version of Eddie Bauer, and I really liked it! Now I don't care for camping so there's plenty here that doesn't interest me in the slightest, but the variety of men's clothing and accessories definitely held my interest. I found several things I liked (one of which I happen to be wearing right now), all at great prices. Employees were nonexistent on the salesfloor, so thankfully I didn't need any assistance as I would still be there! Checkout experience was quick and painless, which is always a plus. Purchased pants from here. Did not see the inseam fabric wasn't sewn together. Took pants back and was told I could contact the manufacturer. Sierra does allow returns for damaged goods. Buyer beware and look over clothes carefully. read more

One of the best stores i've ever been too in my life. They have all kinds of brand name snow gear and winter gifts for incredible prices. I got $200+ snow boots for $60! It's a large store with a wide variety and great customer service. Highly recommend! read more

The still-wet-behind-the-ears tall male "manager/boss" cashier who was trying to impress a female trainee cashier should grow up. I was at their cash register (number one, I think...nothing less for tough guy) to purchase a number of clothing items and a couple of food items, one of which was on clearance for having been previously opened (which the tough young "manager" claimed to have previously personally inspected the contents of before taping the box closed). I wanted to see for myself that the contents (4 granola/seed bars) were indeed acceptable before purchasing. The young "manager" insisted that I purchase the item before cutting the tape job he had done to the package. Well...especially since I know Sierra will not take returns on opened food items, I would have to be a wet-behind-the-ears idiot to purchase the item before seeing inside. Long story, short...the trainee probably was the one who had to return all of the items I planned to purchase back to the racks. And, most importantly, the tough young "boss" didn't have to put more magic tape on his $2 clearance item. I highly recommend the epic Zipline tour in Castle Rock, but, I'd avoid that town's Sierra like the plague. read more

She was not willing or able to tell, saying "you just need to come in and look." If I lived close by that would be ok , but I live 20 miles away, so that's why I called. I went in to sierra today just to grab some new winter clothes. As I was checking out the lady asked me if I wanted to sign up with an email for in store reward points for 10% off my purchase, it was an expensive purchase so I said yes. Keep In Mind she said nothing about a credit card. After signing up she said "your credit card will arrive In 7-10 days" ummm what credit card ??? I was beyond confused that I just signed up for a credit card ?!? I they didn't tell me any information. And I was hearing 100 different things from the other workers. No one told me that it would put my almost 300$ purchase on that credit card and not my debit card!!! I am sooo angry. Now I have to pay that credit card off? Are you kidding me. I asked to cancel right then and there and they wouldn't let me. They all had terrible verbiage and couldn't even look me in the eye to explain to me what was going on. I'm furious about this. I got scammed and they didn't even try to help me out. That's all I got to say about this. read more

This store has great kids, but horrendous management, especially the tall manager with the buzz gray haircut. He is rude, talks down to customers, and has not a lick of customer service in him...we understand times are rough so you just hire anyone, but this particular manager is useless. read more
