Summary: Excellent, local, family-owned auto glass replacement and windshield repair done for our two vehicles for a very reasonable price. We recently had a new windshield installed on our 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 after many years of pebble dings ($325). Eventually, one of those dings turned into a large crack. In addition, we had a new windshield ding repaired on our 2020 Ford F-150 ($75). Both repairs were done at our home in Placerville. Can't say enough good about my experience with Sierra Auto Glass. Not only were they reasonably priced but they were on time friendly and professional and did a wonderful job. My wipers were all messed up where the turkey hit my windshield and I thought I was going to have to go get them fixed after the glass was replaced. They did a lousy job, my driver window goes up and halfway down I have to play with it, also they lost the knob to my mirror control and they left insulation hanging out the bottom of the door! They are difficult to get in touch with and still have not fixed the problems. Also they quoted me 567 and charged my insurance 900!! Broke a window in my RV and didn't want to drag my older motorhome out to get it replaced. After teaching the area I found out Sierra Auto Glass will do mobile repairs. I was recently in an accident and had my car being worked on at Steve Stymeist Auto Body. After research I chose this shop and both businesses coordinated between them seamlessly to to add an out of pocket windshield to my older pitted windshield. I wish I had done this years ago.
