The staff are nice and friendly and experienced, What I liked was that she did talk to me a little especially in the beginning, but she was quiet for 99% of the time and let me relax (which is not what you experience in some other places even expensive luxury spas). I booked for another facial right after the one I got because of the great experience I had, my skin is so soft and fresh now (I went today for my facial). The products WERE scented I have a very sensitive nose and I could definitely tell you that they were scented. Affordable. Efficient. Amazing results for laser hair removal (if you can handle the pain)…read more Highly recommend Mila! I just finished my 3rd laser hair removal session for lower legs (knees included) and underarms. About 4-6 weeks in between sessions depending on hair growth. FYI laser hair removal isn't exactly permanent, it does significantly reduce hair, but results depend on your own baseline hair growth. After 3 sessions, there's pretty much no more leg hair (maybe a few light coloured strands left). Will probably need 1-2 more sessions for underarms though. My skin usually reacts poorly to shaving with red bumps lasting a week, so my usual method used to be waxing legs every 3-4 weeks. I really love the results, no more hassle, but it is kind of painful. Bearable, but it's like a stinging/intense prickly feeling, especially in places with more concentrated hair growth. Pain is about 3/5 on average, some spots hitting a 4/5. It took about 45min for both legs, and less than 30min for both underarms. I'd recommend booking them back to back to make it one longer appointment and get it over with. Mila is super efficient and experienced. They have full transparency of their prices online, and you can book online as well. Spa itself is quite small, no frills, it's basically just a small room with a heated bed and some music. Clean towels and bedding. Located inside a commercial/business building on the 2nd floor.

They were trying to get me to pay $115 for a 75ml tube of product made by a company I've never ever heard of. The second spa treatment, done yesterday, was likewise underwhelming. What is really upsetting is that, due to overaggressive extractions, I am now covered in pin-prick-like, red wounds where pores were traumatised when they'd be better left alone. What's worse is that my esthetician, who had long nails, didn't even wear gloves to do the extractions, which I discovered too late. The extractions actually brought up tears, and I am the type of person who can sit through brazilian waxes and blood donations with a buddha-like smile on my face. I feel like I paid well over $135 for a skin treatment that left me in worse shape than I started. I ran into a friend the today, who, taking one look at my face, said "what did I tell you about doing your own extractions! You're going to get an infection!" I went back today to show the shop manager what was going on. I wasn't looking for refunds or complimentary services, as I kept reiterating, but she kept going on and on about how I should really let her show me a few lines of skin care products that would help minimise the need for extractions. Unbelievable. Long and short is that I won't go back, and would tell anyone (that I like) to steer clear.

I was a little sceptical because I'd read reviews on other locations mentioning that the technicians pushed the products really hard but I didn't find that at all. The facial was relaxing and soothing for the upper lip wax burn that I got the day before and was just what my skin and eyes needed after a late night. The only thing that I didn't love was the extraction process. I was hoping for something a bit more thorough but the tech only removed a few black heads after a mask and not steam to open my pores. I would have liked a more thorough cleaning but overall my skin looked a lot healthier and fresher and I would go back again.

Okay so it took two years to get into Limina for a facial, but after a rough week and a requirement…read morefor some pampering, I called up this morning requesting a facial. Limina has a plethora of options for facials, so much so that I really had no idea what I wanted or needed. so when I arrived Jessica walked out to greet me, looking at my skin. Yes, it is a little unnerving, but it's what I asked for... and she promptly decided on my skin care treatment. She lead me into a room with what can only be described as the most comfortable facial bed ever. I got undressed and into the soft sheets by the time she was back. Jessica takes her time and does things rhythmically and methodically. While other facials have included painful extraction, Jessica's was... well, heavenly. The extraction was literally pain and thus flinch free. And while your scrubs/steams/masks/lotions are working their magic, her hands are working their magic on you. One of the most relaxing massages in memory. I signed up for their membership, which I wasn't planning to do... but 30% off any treatment once a month? That makes it affordable to come in and get a facial regularly. And the facials? Are heaven. Particularly when you're in Jessica's hands. The entire experience cost less than expected, which pleased me greatly.

I have visited Limina three times in the past year or so, each time to have my eyebrows shaped. The…read morefirst two visits were very good experiences: I left with perfectly shaped eyebrows that really complemented my face. However, two days ago I went in for another eyebrow wax with the same esthetician, and came out with a very different result. I asked her to please leave the body of my brow the same width and simply to clean up and define the outline and remove stray hairs. I emphasized that I didn't want the width of my brows to change significantly, and that symmetry was my #1 priority. I also told her that my eyebrow hairs are quite easy to kill off and I would prefer trimming over tweezing/waxing if applicable. Well..... I came out with both eyebrows significantly thinner, asymmetrical in width and length, and with a patch of unwaxed hairs under my right arch. I shared these concerns with the esthetician. She mumbled something about how one side probably wouldn't grow back and hustled me out of the room. She had already applied eyebrow makeup (which I didn't want due to my concerns about infection, esp on freshly waxed skin) without asking me, and this made it even more difficult to really assess the situation, but when I went home, washed my face and really had a look, I was horrified. I have attached a picture below for you all to see for yourselves. I tried calling Limina. I told the receptionist my issue, and she immediately said she'd call me back. Once she did, all she said was "Sure, I guess you can come back now if you want her to fix it." Having been burned already, with a response like that, you can imagine that I didn't return and never will.
