There was water damage due to a water leak, and I needed the cabinet demolished, removed and replaced. I spoke with Edan Cazakov. Edan and I agreed to meet at my home on Friday, July 10, 2026 for a free estimate. He appeared as scheduled, took pictures and advised that he would discuss his findings and photos with his Contractor and contact me ASAP. On Monday, July 13, 2026, Edan texted a quote for the work needed. We agreed on the repair costs and scheduled a date for the repair. There were several delays, excuses, last minute concerns about the water filtration system that needed to be removed prior to repairs, etc. There was subsequent confusion regarding the cost of the repairs with the Contractor and miscommunication and coordination with Edan and the Contractor on the date for completing the work. It took 61 Days to complete this otherwise simple job! To be clear and fair, Edan Cazakov and the Contractor Brian Aldred are nice, good-natured people. Even the quality of the work was very good. They are just HORRIBLE at conducting business. They fail at being responsible, reliable, or dependable. Date/Time commitments are non-existent. Though I would invite Edan to Thanksgiving Dinner at my home, I would NEVER make him responsible for the Turkey!! My message to any prospective client ... We had the pleasure of working with Nas who came for an extensive complimentary consultation. She spent about 2 hours with us going over all the options and working out a design on her computer. The price she quoted was very reasonable, and she offered an extra 10% off if we paid using a credit card rather than financing. Several weeks later Alex and Greyson arrived for the installation which took two full days. They couldn't have been friendlier and were very respectful of the home by wearing booties and laying down tarps to protect the floors and carpets. There was one small error - the handles we wanted were installed in the wrong color. One quick call to Nas, and she arranged for the installers to return the following week with the correct color. They insisted on not accepting our final payment until the issue was rectified. The overall quality of the items seems better than I expected, and the doors all have soft close hinges as a standard feature which often costs extra elsewhere. The common point from what I could tell were that budget, work effort, and communication fell a little short. Karin worked with me on the front end, and Haim executed in an amazing way. That was my experience in the last few months. From a satisfaction point regarding this kitchen renovation it simply could not have gone any better. I will say that the details on the front end matter. We went over several iterations in the beginning. I had narrowed down to two really great contractor options. Ultimately, I went with 702R&R due to their ability to paint with lacquer and extreme attention to detail. I just felt they would do an amazing job. We worked together to build my dream kitchen. It came out even better than I had hoped. I think it is important to review your budget early. Extreme quality costs. Think "Homes on Homes" quality and worthy of HGTV results. I don't want to over promise. It is YOUR design, so you will get what you give. Haim's expertise in managing is worth his weight in gold. Ask early if at your budget level they are interested.
