You move in, you're dead and you just want to put up your clothes after living out of a suitcase for a while. Then you have to prioritize your budget and it doesn't get done. I started on a Friday evening out of nowhere. I emptied the closet, removed all of this barely hanging mess, fixed these poor walls, repainted the walls and then on Monday I was approving the closet plans from the amazing Jen Leavitt who had provided multiple options (Jen is a pleasure to work with, I was on a budget and she was extremely supportive and understanding). From there, the office called to schedule the job, everyone I spoke to was so kind, professional and helpful. Then their awesome 2 men crew installed everything in 4 hours on the next Friday, they left everything spotless. I'm thrilled with the results!

There was water damage due to a water leak, and I needed the cabinet demolished, removed and replaced. I spoke with Edan Cazakov. Edan and I agreed to meet at my home on Friday, July 10, 2026 for a free estimate. He appeared as scheduled, took pictures and advised that he would discuss his findings and photos with his Contractor and contact me ASAP. On Monday, July 13, 2026, Edan texted a quote for the work needed. We agreed on the repair costs and scheduled a date for the repair. There were several delays, excuses, last minute concerns about the water filtration system that needed to be removed prior to repairs, etc. There was subsequent confusion regarding the cost of the repairs with the Contractor and miscommunication and coordination with Edan and the Contractor on the date for completing the work. It took 61 Days to complete this otherwise simple job! To be clear and fair, Edan Cazakov and the Contractor Brian Aldred are nice, good-natured people. Even the quality of the work was very good. They are just HORRIBLE at conducting business. They fail at being responsible, reliable, or dependable. Date/Time commitments are non-existent. Though I would invite Edan to Thanksgiving Dinner at my home, I would NEVER make him responsible for the Turkey!! My message to any prospective client ... To rely on Mama's Wholesale Cabinets for your Cabinet needs would be "A Practice at Imperfection!" Edan will get that reference. The rest of you... just be warned. Michael - Submitted 9/11/2026

He did excellent work building a highly customized slide-out desk drawer for my home-based flight simulator setup. This job required an expert cabinet maker who was able to understand exactly how to build a very special cutout that could withstand a significant amount of torque generated by my force feedback joystick from Brunner-Innovation of Switzerland. Besides his superior woodworking craftsmanship which is second to none, Fred has the all-important skill of listening to the needs of his customer. He made certain that the proposed custom design that this job required was exactly as I wanted. And his prices are quite reasonable. He began by visiting my home office to understand the exact specifications of the custom desk drawer that job required. From that very beginning Fred was totally professional and kept his word about every aspect of the job. And the final product definitely exceeded my expectations. Fred's work was as good as it gets. I can't imagine anyone who would have done a better job. I highly recommend Fred for any high-end top quality woodworking project. And I thank Fred for his incredibly thorough and detailed work. They came out to take measurements, but some of their comments were off-putting. At one point, one of them made a comment about how people in the northwest have to do projects in pieces, as if we couldn't afford to pay for the project all at once. Both my husband and I found the comment surprising and inappropriate. The following month, they sent us some initial drafts of the bookcases. We sent back questions and requested revisions, but then communication stalled. We followed up on August 5 and heard back the same day that they were buried in projects and were working on getting back to our design. Fair enough. We followed up again on August 21 and received a response on August 24 explaining that they had been out of town working on a project for two weeks. We understood and gave them more time. On September 19, we emailed again to check on the status. As of today, October 24, we still haven't received a response. I completely understand that businesses get busy and that custom projects take time. What I don't understand is leaving potential customers hanging for weeks with no communication, especially after they've already invested time in discussing the project and preparing initial designs. If they weren't interested in taking on our project, I would have appreciated a simple, professional response saying so rather than being ghosted. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I can't recommend them for their customer communication or service.
