Beautiful store with tons of gorgeous slabs! Too bad most slabs aren't available. Not sure who thinks it's a good idea to run their business this way? You walk around a very large floor with tons of slabs. You pick out your favorites. You then send that info to a person who is never at the store and have to communicate with them via email. You then get en email that states every slab you picked is not available. So we came back and I picked a few more options to play the email game once again. Told again nothing I picked was available. I then reached out to my contractor and asked him to stop wasting my time with this store. After I said that somehow a miracle occurred and one of the slabs I was interested in was suddenly available. So we paid and moved on. A few weeks into our renovations we were told that the slab we purchased was too small since our contractor gave us the wrong dimensions (not the stores fault). Had to come back yet again and find a new slab. When we were told once again all slabs that I picked weren't available I made the decision to stop wasting my time and go somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Rio Stones where they have people in the store and slabs that are actually available. Also, it took 24 days to get a refund for the slab that was too small. After calling them every day to to just get excuses as to why our refund wasn't processed yet. A big waste of time...and a big headache. read more

I've had numerous purchases and interactions with this place over last few years. Here is a very honest summary- Great selection of products. Nice shop yard and warehouse. Great deals on the stuff in yard. Overall prices are good. The sales people are very nice in a super generic sort of way, but pleasant. Especially Ariel. That said they will not call you back, at least not in a timely fashion. You will have to bug them relentlessly. Be careful that the slabs you get are actually the ones you buy because I've heard that you will get different pieces delivered. Also a ton of stuff in showroom is not in stock. That's not necessarily their fault but pull that sample if you know it's 3+ months out for crying out loud I just make this my last stop now because dealing with the sales people is not worth it unless we absolutely need a certain stone they have. Needed to buy new kitchen countertops after a mishap in my kitchen. I was referred to this place through my contractor and I am glad I was. Gil (our ME representative) was extremely helpful. As first time shoppers, the wife and I were a little overwhelmed at the selection (which they have a large warehouse of slabs). Gil was patient, very friendly and made the experience great! We ended up spending about two hours here, which we didn't realize it would take, because we were novice on quartz, granite and marble. Gil was able to thoroughly explain the difference, types of textures, reflection of surfaces, natural vs man-made, as well as was happy to move a few slabs around the warehouse so we could visually compare a side-by-side of slabs. We were able to hold two slabs and just purchased them today through our contractor. The showroom is great, the staff is friendly and most of all, they took great care of two customers that didn't really know what to expect and were shown above and beyond service. Not very happy with communication. We went down to ME on Saturday and purchased a slab for our island. We expected it to be delivered on Monday or Tuesday to my fabricator so we can have it installed today (Friday). Fabricator called me yesterday (Thursday) saying it had not arrived and that ME was stating there was a balance owed. Called ME to sort it out. They undercharged me by $30 and held my slab, and did not bother to call me to make payment arrangements. Payment was made by email that day and I was promised it would be processed right away and the slab would be delivered today (Friday). Had to just call them again as the payment was not processed, slab is not delivered and now I STILL do not have my island countertop. This is putting both me and my fabricator behind as they refuse to send it out today and now can not deliver it until Monday at the earliest. So well over a week. No contact trying to resolve things. Not impressed and might look elsewhere for the other 2 slabs I need. read more

I went in there multiple times with all of my samples... the staff let's you browse to your hearts content, & they don't hang all over you unless you need them. everyone in there is professional and knowledgeable. We were looking to replace bathroom countertops in our 25 year old house. I had been to several stores/show rooms but since I wasnt a contractor and honestly i didnt really know WHAT I wanted, none of them were very helpful. One store suggested we try Marble Express and we were VERY glad we did! We met up with Ariel the first time, and he was busy with another customer. so we came back later and he gave us his undivided attention. Show us slabs, as we walked back and forth a bunch of times! He was helpful, informative and patient with all of our questions! Check out was super easy - he warned us of the 3% charge on credit card purchases so we were prepared for that. He hooked us up with a fabricator who is coming this week to install! It will be about 4 weeks from start to finish. Pretty easy! read more
