When I dropped off my rental, I informed them that I never got the helmet and had to spend extra at the resort to rent a helmet. Store associate said they might not have had any available at the time. I asked to be reimbursed for the helmet rental and they dont do that. Nowhere on the website or paper documents did it say that portions of the rental package are based on availability. Seems like false advertising. People pay for the package and should get what they pay for, but this didnt happen. Would have saved $15 if I just rented my gear at the resort. Other than that, the board, boots and clothing were in great shape and good quality. Easy sizing, pickup and return of the rentals. No issues except for the helmet, sorry to say.

I had the privilege of working in the shoe department today with Zack and Sam. He knows the stock backwards and forwards and what new shoes are on their way. He could tell me how different treads work with the types of terrain I hike and didn't even limit me to what was in the store. At one point, he helped me order a boot from the REI outlet store. When I returned a few weeks later because it wasn't perfect, he kept working with me and eventually found exactly what I needed. Even cooler, Sam remembered working with me previously and was able to pick up right where we left off. Ultimately, I tried on or trained with almost 10 boots and I'm so happy with the results. Thank you, REI, for hiring employees, who know what they're talking about and thank you, Sam and Zack, for your patience and persistence, in helping me find the most comfortable boot for when I hit the trail. Loved finding this shop in the Las Vegas North Premium Outlet as I have a jacket and used it for my polar trip to Japan with temperatures that dipped to the lover 50's as I don't live in these cold weather conditions, having it was a savior literally and was curious what this store has to offer. Impressed with the selections of various outerwear including jackets, vests, shorts and tops loved to see the various types with the ideal use for cold and hot weathers makes it useful as it's not just the freezing conditions that we do find the relief from heat is much more difficult making it uncomfortable. We did find a great deal on a vest jacket and love to see it comes in various colors where I don't find it easily in shops and the service was a delight and helpful along with a great deal is greatly appreciated. My son has his first football season coming up and we were recommended to visit Play It Again…read moreSports. Jacob came around to meet us at the door and welcomed us to the store and offered to help us. It was really nice! He listened and answered all my questions, and showed me what to look out for when my son tried on the helmet and pads. He made the visit fun for my son, referring to Minecraft and offering shoulder pads that had "real gold" on it and said it was $1mil. Lol. My son got a kick out of that. Jacob got us squared away with padded pants and a practice jersey. They didn't have my son's correct helmet size and color in stock, so Jacob made sure to take my number down so they can call me when it comes in. Which brings me to the next awesome associate who helped us-- Cooper! Cooper called me and recommended I come down to have him try on the helmet since they just got a shipment in, and it was still a small quantity. Cooper helped Noah get the helmet on, and made sure we had the correct cheek pads. Both young men were very helpful and kind, and my son thought they were the "coolest bros" ever. Thanks!
