There is ample parking. The space is very welcoming, and as soon as you walk in, you are greeted with the most gorgeous display of desserts you'll ever seen in your life. No wonder this place was nominated for best dessert menu for the best of 716 they serve breakfast until two as well as lunch and dinner. We stopped by for dinner and they have a wide variety of American food. All is homemade and they have a wide array of Smashburger's homestyle favorites, including Mall high turkey dinner meatloaf dinner, spaghetti, and meatballs, and a wide Veray of salads and soups to choose from I went ahead with the mile high turkey dinner and my husband had the mile high meatloaf. They were so delicious. We could not stop eating them and they were too good to share. Then there was no way we couldn't close out this amazing meal Without trying one of the amazing desserts so we decided to split a chocolate peanut butter cream pie, and we are so glad we did. It reminded us of when we were little frequently visiting diners. Plus the ambience is very calm, warm welcoming and it's like you're stepping right into modern diner meets grandma's kitchen the perfect place to call your second home. We will definitely be visiting this place more often that soon enough we'll become regulars.

Apparently we upset the waitress by not having everyone at the table when she came by. our friend had run to the restroom while we waited for service. we assumed the waitress was slammed because it was crowded and our friend gave us their order in case she came by while they were gone. She refused to take our order until. the person returned even though we told her we could order. She was clearly irritated and told us we would, "just have to wait" Ok, we waited, our friend returned she walked by multiple times spoke loudly to a table behind us about how busy she was and appreciated that they were all ready and at the table. The customers were clearly familiar to her as they responded by loudly commenting on how rude it was ... this continued with other tables to the degree that she went to the counter acros form our table and simply stared directly at me shaking her head and commenting to other customers about "rude people" When she finally came to take our order (about 20 minutes into our wait) she repeatedly made surprisingly snarky remarks. Actually ti felt like a weird SNL skit. I keep thinking someone was going to jump out and tell us we were bing "Punked". Nope. Then we got the food. It was just bad, tasteless, overcooked, just not good. There were some cooked carrots shaped into small balls on the plate. I didn't eat them. She actually stated to me, "you didn't eat your carrots!!" It was seriously bizarre. I see large crowds there. Maybe it's because of their baked goods. we didn't stay to try dessert.

When looking for a good restaurant in the area, we learned that many places are closed on Monday so we were concerned. From the call to make a reservation to the checkout, we were treated like valued friends. The host greeted us with warmth and humor, our waitress, Fatima was so upbeat, well informed and enthusiastic. Our food, steak, pork chops, surf and turf and lobster tails were perfectly done. The four of us were completely delighted. a fresh delicious salad was included along with vegetables and twice baked potatoes. Cocktails were creative and delicious. This is a great spot, rather old school and comfortable. we got there early in the evening within an hour tables were filling up. Clearly there are many happy regulars who enjoy this wonderful place. Maybe it's their pandemic plan. You wait in line, there's no menu signage so you have to ask for a menu. You are told you have to call from your car. However, if just getting ice cream, you walk up. So you wait in line where they won't take your order when the order taker just gave you the menu. What? I questioned that and the cook (no mask) gave me the stink eye. Ok, I'll play by the rules. After a short time, the girl approached the car to tell us the order was ready. If you're coming over to tell me, wouldn't you just bring it? She brought the car next to us their order. The food was what we expected so whatever. They just need to figure out how to work the order process.

After sitting at the least dirty one, an employee walked around to pick up trash from the tables but didn't wipe any down, and didn't sweep even though there was a lot of garbage on the floor under one table. So all of the tables were still visibly dirty with crumbs. He then went back behind the counter and looked like he wasn't doing anything. After several minutes went by, an elderly couple came in and sat at a dirty table, so I got up and said something to the boy at the counter. He then came around with a wet rag. I really hope this location improves the maintenance of their dining room better going forward. It would be a nice place to enjoy a meal if more of the tables and floor at least looked clean.
