I've never been so impressed with a shoe store! There are some improvements to be made, but for the most part, this is the place to go if you're looking for high quality, comfortable, durable shoes.
Selection (7/10) : There's a lot of different types of shoes, a good price spectrum, and a large sale rack. However, this is a reasonably small shoe store, and it takes them a while to get new product. So checking back often is something of a waste of time. However, this also means that if you see a shoe you like, you generally have time to think about it. The shoe will probably still be there when you've made up your mind.
Price (8/10) : As previously mentioned, there's a good range of prices here, but most of the shoes will tend to be more than $100. I give this an 8/10 because the prices of these shoes is appropriate for their quality. There is some decently high quality merchandise in this store, that is much more affordable than is typical for a shoe store.
Service (7/10) : It depends who is working, and what your style is. There's a younger man that works here who is readily helpful with bringing sizes, answering questions, and generally being there when you need him. He is very unobtrusive, and will leave you to your own devices - not interrupting, interfering, or hawking over you while you shop. There is also an older man who works here who can come across as a more aggressive sales associate. He volunteers unsolicited advice about the fit of the shoe, or the look of the shoe, and he will stand there and watch you try every shoe on. He is extremely attentive, which may be a turn off to some. However, he is also extremely knowledgable. His advice is incredibly useful, once you get past his assertive demeanor. He knows a great deal about the fit of a shoe, and is more than willing to admit that a shoe doesn't fit, even if it means losing a sale. His intention is for you to buy a high quality, well fitting shoe. Not to simply make a sale. For less seasoned shoe shoppers, this is your sale rep. Following his advice could save you a lot of time, frustration, shoe-related pain, and money. However, you have to take into account that his assertive attitude is due to the fact that he truly cares about the welfare of his customers, and truly knows what he's talking about! Give his advice a chance before you take offense, and you won't be disappointed.
Quality (9/10) : Great quality. I have five pairs of shoes from here. All of them I wear regularly, all of them have tall heals, and they're the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The shoes hold up very well, depending on the kind of fabric you buy (obviously).
Comfort (9/10) : These are some excellent shoes. The fit is generally excellent, the heels are easy to balance on, and the shoes are very comfortable.
Note: The layout of this store is great. There's space, and there's generally not too much foot traffic so you will get the full attention of the sales associate. The wood floor is slippery, but is excellent for trying out shoes (because you won't have to worry about an uneven terrain competing with the fit of the shoe).
