Fast friendly service, nice ambiance and decor, and great food. I very much enjoyed the crab stuffed jalapeños appetizer, and the fish and shrimp entree was very very good. The thin and crispy breading was perfect, with all of the texture you want and not too much flour and/or cornmeal to cover up the delicious seafood. Bonus points for the delicious homemade slaw. My two guests both had burgers, and they looked completely amazing. My food was great and I was still jealous. Will return next time I'm in the area. One small request. Please add a few more sides that would pair well with your grilled seafood option.

From the start, we were stared at and spoken to with obvious attitude. The final straw was when one of us tried to order a drink and slightly mispronounced the name. Instead of politely correcting it like a normal, respectful server would, the staff laughed, repeated it back in a mocking tone, and made jokes to each other about it. It was humiliating and completely unnecessary. What made it worse was that this behavior clearly wasn't happening to other customers. The difference in treatment was obvious, intentional, and disgusting. No one tried to apologize or fix the situation--if anything, they seemed amused by it. We didn't feel welcome, respected, or safe staying there, so we left before ordering. No food is worth being disrespected over, especially for something as small as mispronouncing a drink name. Not knowing I'm Creole not Spanish. If you're Black or care about basic human decency, I'd strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Racism has no place in any restaurant, and this place clearly hasn't gotten that message.

We were a party of 15 Guests and were there for a gathering of monthly Birthday celebrations of four Corpus Christi area Friends! We were greeted with a smile and seated promptly as an area was reserved for our party of 15. Our Waitress was "Ashley"! Ashley had a great attitude and was super in every aspect of her job and with everything she did. As with anything in life, her ability to effectively communicate with her Customers was Stellar. She took our orders in a calm and effective manner and remembered all the tiny details that any table could impose on "Wait" Staff. We got three ($17) lunch specials in total. I had the orange chicken and fried rice. It was bad, and the same thing from Panda Express would've been cheaper and tasted better. The egg drop soup that cane with the specials weren't great either. We also got the $17 Pad Thai, which had no heat, no flavor, and the server didn't even ask for the spice level. The $17 fried rice lunch special similarly had no flavor whatsoever. The fish of the day (Pad Prik King) was advertised as $25 on the menu, but it was $30 when we asked (flounder). I don't think there are any real ratings for this restaurant. Don't go here.
