Hello hello hello! Welcome to the Brier Creek area Showmars! Being a stone's throw from my apartment, checking them out became a no-brainer. Got my opportunity at lunch to drive over and see the grub on offer. To me, Showmars offers American style food like burgers and sandwiches but with predominantly Greek or Mediterranean ingredients and flavors. Unfortunately there weren't a ton of veggie options which was a bit of a disappointment. Showmars, like nearly every other restaurant, has jumped on the Impossible/Beyond Vegan bandwagon and that was what I ended up getting, encased in a wheat pita with hummus, lettuce and onions. Being a pure vegetarian, the patty was a little too meaty for my liking but I guess meat-eaters would rejoice ("woohoo, a healthy option for us", I imagine them saying). But would have like to see some more alternate veggie-proteins like falafel, egg-plant or even a chickpea-based patty! All in all, a nice addition to the area! Note to self: Next time, need to try out the sides and drinks! read more

Wow this was the best fish sandwich I've had in my life. The tarter sauce was delicious. The whole sandwich melted in my mouth like butter. I wish they were in Orlando. But now I know the exist an will make a point to come have them every time I'm in town. Between Cheerwine an NC bbq & Bojangles this is now a NC staple. read more

Do yourself a favor and get the fish sandwich. Best I have every head. It was tender, juicy and lightly breaded. The tarter sauce was a nice complement, not overly applied and the bun was soft and warm. Add in a side of crinkle cut friends and you have a winner for dinner or any other meal. This is a "fast casual" dining where you order at the cashier and they bring your food to you. But the staff still checked in on customers and the service was excellent. Honestly, better than most traditional sit down restaurants. The smiles and kindness of staff seems like a cultural trait of this restaurant chain not unlike in n out in California. read more

Ordered for pickup on the Monday the 15th. We did not know what to eat after going out most of the day to get some things from the stores. I ordered a flounder dinner with fries and Cole slaw. The flounder fish was pretty good, the fries were crinkle cuts and my favorite. The Cole slaw was very good, not as good as KFC but it had a peppery bite to it to enhance the flavor. My wife ordered a gyro sandwich seasoned rotisserie gyro with tomato, onion & tzatziki pita sauce. She really liked the gyro sandwich, not so much the hush puppies, she said they too dense and not fluffy. This the second time at this location which is near our home. Inexpensive, quick and with healthy options. I like the fried fish sandwhich. Compensate for the fried part by skipping the french fries for a salad or squash instead. First Visit and I was very pleased witH the freshness of the food. I tried the chicken pita and then tasted a piece of my husband's fried flounder and it was beautiful. Light batter not salt laden or greasy just perfect and delicious!!!! I have to limit my fried food for health reasons but know what a I will be having when I want to cheat and have something deliciously fried. April 24 in the middle of a pandemic! The curbside delivery guy (wearing a beard) had no gloves or facemask. I went to the door and spoke with a girl, also wearing no gloves or facemask. She was completely clueless. We always gave this place 4-5 stars because we loved the food. This experience ended it for us. Who knows what was going on in the back/kitchen area. I rejected the order and demanded my money back. We will see if I actually get it. It is too bad that restaurants that are trying to survive on take-out and delivery are this poorly managed. When I was in undergrad in CLT I worked in Northlake Mall. They had a a Showmar's in the food court. Let me tell you, my coworker and I had a fish sandwich EVERY Friday. Greek salad with chicken was our second option. Burgers are delicious and flavorful as well. I took my man to this place too. He loved it. I'm glad they've expanded themselves to this part of NC. We stopped here after a grocery run. A worker opened the door for us with a smile upon entry. That was nice. Delicious food and great service! I got the fried flounder sandwich. Showmars has consistently delicious, fresh food. For the first time, I'm trying the "world famous fish sandwich", and it is mouth-wateringly tasty! They are really good at handling large delivery orders through Doordash, and still get the food here hot and fresh. Showmars has become the "Fish Friday" staple lunch for my coworkers and me. read more

I first learned of Showmars restaurants when I traveled through the Charlotte area someone had recommended quick quality reasonable priced food, I tried it and loved it. Great place! I went in for the first time today to redeem a coupon I had received. I ordered the fish sandwich and fries and it was so good! Fresh, hot, and delicious. So good!! I wanted something healthy and Mediterranean usually hits the mark. I noticed that the fish sandwich had less calories so I ordered that and a side of squash/zucchini. It was delicious!! I couldn't even believe it was healthy but it was. My daughter had the chicken tenders and it came with fries and hush puppies. Huge portions and she enjoyed her meal as well. I have enjoyed two lunch meals here so far. The food is fresh and flavorful. The hummus is great! Vegetarians should know that the Beyond Burger is cooked on the same grill with meat burgers, hence the meaty taste. I'm looking forward to visiting again. Cheers! read more

Tried this relatively new place near us, first time we've ever been to one. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful and quite good, with the prices maybe just a tad above where I'd place the value line at. A bit pricey, but portions are good and food is made to order, so paying a bit more for some nice quality. We've tried the grilled chicken pita, the greek salad and some of the greek platters. All were delish. The only 'non greek' dish tried so far was the fried shrimp that the wife ordered. Was average, I tried a couple too. Ok, nothing special. Other than price, the other ding was drink refills. You can't get them yourself, you have to get a waitperson to do that for you. A bit of a hassle if no one is around. But other than that, we were pleased enough that we'll likely be back! read more
