Went in on a Wednesday night, somewhat early as I was one of 2 customers sitting in the club. Three girls came and talked with me and all were very pleasant, I didn't feel like I was being rushed or pushed into anything although they did all ask to book a room with me (hey, it's a job I get it!). I purchased multiple private dances throughout the night from both Akira and Emily. Both were great and offered different experiences which is what I look for when going to a club. The site is working on getting their liquor going, but are currently waiting for some red tape from the city/state. It picked up around 11 o'clock, but again, being a Wednesday, it was pretty dead most of the time, which if you're looking for attention, is actually a positive as a customer! Well, my initial rating for this place was three stars, but I visited it again recently and I gotta say, it's gotten better! They now serve alcohol (it's overpriced, but that's expected), the women are beautiful and quite talented at dancing and a majority actually get naked. (The most important thing for me) The music they play is fantastic overall and it just has quite a great atmosphere. This place was already better than any other Seattle strip club (none of the others even really deserve that title) and now it's far better.... But... I still won't rank it five stars just because the lap dances cost far too much for what you get. They allow touching which is nice, but it would be far better if they got naked for that too. Maybe they do if you pay a lot more money (the most I paid for a dance was $100) But I didn't really want to spend more money to find out. (Even if I could've afforded it) and well, I know in Portland and Vancouver, they offer nude lap dances for far less. (At least at the strip clubs I went to in those cities) Still, overall, this place is pretty good. Still not on par Portland or Vancouver strip clubs (well at least the Granville Strip in the latter's case), but far better than anything else Seattle has to offer. read more

I wish I could give it 0 stars. It does not deserve the 1 it's receiving. My boyfriend and I enjoy strip clubs and when we do we are easy going generous people who usually have a great time at them. We decided to try this one for the first time. The management at this place really needs to contemplate if this is the career for them. Because you guys have not managed your staff properly. Upon reading other reviews I see I'm not alone. If you're going to have an empty club on a Saturday night where you don't have alcohol, the least you could have is dancers that don't physically assault you or get angry when you don't order a soda. Literally 1 minute into paying the cover fee and sitting down in the empty club, I took a photo of the stack of money sitting on my table, not of any dancer or anything in the room etc. I should not have had my phone out, the thought escaped me. A professionally run club would have someone come over and tell me to put it away right? But no. A dancer came up from behind me grabbed my phone without saying anything and smashed it into my face very hard, with purpose. She then left the room with my phone. I walked out to where she brought my phone in tears and in pain in my nose where she hit me. My boyfriend attempted to discuss with the manager who was very dismissive and mainly focusing on explaining I can't use my phone. She said she talked to the dancer. I bet she had those same talks with all the other dancers with awful attitudes in the other 1 star reviews. But sure, I bet this will be the one that gets the job done right? No. She also brought up the police, which I did not. She told me if I wanted to call them I could, it was obvious she has zero control of the employees. Just learn how to treat customers. If your dancers physically assault them, learn how to manage that situation better, not be dismissive and make it about what I did wrong as if it's comparable. Oh, they also wouldn't give back our $70 cover charge even though we were only in there for 60 seconds. We left and went to another bar to try to cool down and enjoy ourselves as this was our first night out in a very long time. On our walk back after a few drinks we decided, lets try to fix the night and not let them ruin our vacation and experience. We (stupidly) went back in since we already paid cover. Sat down long enough to see two girls dance. Who both spent quite a bit of time just standing looking in the mirror at themselves. Then a waitress came up behind us and asked if we wanted to order anything. We said no thank you to which she responded with "close your legs" with an attitude. My legs were leaning on my boyfriends lap, they were closed, and nothing was showing. A professionally run club may have let them know when we came back to treat us with a great attitude since we were somehow giving them another shot and also since we took out so much money in front of them. But alas, no management applied. My boyfriend and I looked at eachother in disbelief. We got up and walked out and told the guy at the front desk that the reason this place is empty on a Saturday and no one is making tips is likely because everyone there is simply the worst. This is hands down a terrible strip club all around. I have never been to a strip club I didn't like before this, and I've been to many. My boyfriend and I went there it was our first in a strip club. I was pretty anxious at first but they made us feel really welcomed and comfortable. We even got a couples lap dance as well. I took my nephew there for his 21st birthday and there was no signs to take flash off your phone so as soon as somebody texted me my automatic response on my phone was to have a flash so automatically I try to take the flash off and lo and behold there was a worker very very very aggressively Trying to tell me to take the flash off and when I told him that I was trying to take the flash off he was in my face very aggressive I couldn't believe this was happening mind you I work in the hospital. So I'm very aware of aggressive patients. The male staff was pretty unfriendly, but we weren't there for them anyway, and the interactions with them were brief. The dancers here are very talented and their physical abilities are matched only by their bodies and personalities. They were friendly without being pushy. As someone who is not used to going to these kind of venues I was intimidated at first but the dancers and staff were welcoming and made me feel right at home. Rose was really cool (tell her we had a great time camping in the Olympic Peninsula). On another note, admission price is a little bit confusing. The sign at the front says admission is $10 and unlimited (non-alcoholic) drinks is $12. When paying admission, the staff charged $22, claiming it was for the "cover charge." The dancers are not getting money from this "cover" and I suspect that the $12 additional dollars was actually for unlimited drinks and the staff made it seem like a mandatory charge. Like excuse me, if no one is tipping it's because you can't dance no one is interested enough to throw money. Others where ok but, nothing that made me want a lap dance or throw any money. I spoke with 3-4 employees and they just gave me the run around until the dancer left the building. They wouldn't tell me her name and rudely acted like it wasn't their problem. As long as youre not a broke douche coming for a free show you will have a good time. These are performers that come to spend $150 a night to rent the stage to even dance for the crowd, so if they don't pity your $22 entry fee forgive them. I went to showgirls on Thursday night and i left with a good experience. Cover was $22 but if you're a tourist and have hotel key you'll be waived $10. There were all kinds of beautiful girls blonde, brunettes and Asian. This club is full nude and I enjoyed it., dancers are skilled.They have lap Dance deals 3 for $60. Girls are not too pushy for lap dances, they come and ask you and you can always say later. Make sure to sit in the front row and throw some dollars for full nude close up fun. You may or may not know this little fact about me but I know my way around a stripper pole. I was invited to perform at my pole dancing teacher's belated birthday/business anniversary party. I instantly signed up then the reality hit that I'd be pole dancing in minimal clothing in front of a lot of people. Oh snap. Deja Vu has an amateur night and in preparation for my debut performance, I figured I'd do a practice run and I got the brilliant idea to do it at Deja Vu. On a Wednesday night I made my way downtown. I walk through the porn store below and up the stairs. I come face to face with a burly man in a suit who eyes me probably wondering if I'm old enough to be there. I tell him I'm here for the amateur night and his demeanor brightens a bit. It got even better when he saw my ID and got confirmation I was legal. I get out of paying the usual $20 entry fee and am led to a table inside the club and told the manager would come talk to me. I sit down and a waitress comes and asks me if I want anything to drink. A water please. I may have gotten out of paying the cover charge but who knows if I'll get charged the regular $10 for a Sprite. I wait and no manager. I wait a little longer and still no manager. I decide to sit back and enjoy the show. If you've been to one strip club in Seattle, you've been to them all: bored looking girls slowing gyrating to top 40 music. on a mirrored stage. Being the pole dancing enthusiast I am, I always hope one girl will get up there and work the pole like there is no tomorrow but it doesn't happen and it didn't happen that night. Although there was one girl that worked it a bit I left wishing I was shown more. On the sides there are smaller tables with poles for those wanting a lap dance. Then for those who want even more privacy and maybe some inappropriate touching, there are rooms in the back. Its 10:00pm, the time amateur night supposedly starts and the manager still hasn't spoken to me. 10:30pm rolls around and finally the manager approaches me but with bad news: no one else showed up for the event therefore it would be cancelled. Aw man! I haven't been back to Deju Vu since that night. I suppose I should make a second attempt to participate in the amateur night. Maybe I could win some money. Deja Vu... It's pretty much the only game in town. From my understanding the only other strip clubs in Seattle are the other Deja Vu and Rick's. There's some other topless bars and so forth, but those don't really count. So what makes Deja Vu special? Well, it's not the drinks, that's for damn sure. Washington is one of these sissified states that won't let you consume alcohol while staring at naked chicks. Not even beer. Yep, you heard right, pardner. It is therefore a must you get your pre-funkshun on at local bars beforehand. The other option is to guzzle down some minis of Smirnoff in the alley outside. Either option will do. Surprisingly, though, unless you're an alcoholic or have social disorders, or both, the pre-funkshun is not really necessary. The Vu has some nice girls. There's a little something for everyone: chubby, white, black, Oriental, old, gothic, tattooed. The Vu caters to gentlemen of all classes. The dancers also like to get freaky with the ladies, which is another option if your woman is down. They have amateur nights on Wednesdays, which sounds intriguing, but I haven't gone. Overall, it's a very safe and fun atmosphere. There's security up the ass and they don't put up with any crap. The sound system is killer. It's almost fun to just to rock out to the tunes. They usually play lots of grunge and industrial rock, like Alice In Chains, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, etc. Don't pay admission unless you absolutely have to. There's coupons usually in the Stranger or Seattle Weekly, or there will be a girl outside handing out coupons for free admission. Of course, free is never free. You will always have to buy a "cocktail," which is a Coke or Diet Coke that costs 8 dollars. And then a waitress will walk around and ask if you want to "buy a drink" for one of the ladies. Um, yeah, what? Is the dancer 10 years old? Is she really going to drink that Coke? I know strippers like coke, but I'm not sure if it's the kind you drink. Also, don't ask them what they do in their free time. I can tell you right now, they're all attending UW and studying psychology, or else they're enrolled in a massage therapy school. read more

I was a little hesitant at first when i came here with a group of friends for a combined bachelor/bachelorette party recently but it was way better then I expected. The girls were pretty decent but our two strippers were the best. One was named starlett or sprinkles or something and the other one named kyla (stage name Mary Jane). I dropped in the club in the late afternoon, so I am sure it was much slower than peak operating time. Despite that had a fairly good time. location: right across the street from Pikes Place market. if you are shy about going in, not the club for you. :) paid parking lot next door. The club was in some ways typical DejaVu, I used a free pass from Dejavu.com to waive the $10 cover. That left a $12 drink fee, which was a couple bucks higher than other area clubs. Maybe it was the soda tax Seattle has. Anyway, the club is upstairs and was a two stage two room club. Main stage as you walked in, second stage and private dance room just a doorway away. One odd thing, I got carded going in. not sure why, no way I look under 18 considering i am way older than 40. main stage was doing well, but was spoiled by a couple sitting front center that kept chatting the dancers up, monopolizing them, and didn't let them, you know, dance. Rude people. The location and overall facilities really rate a 4, but I gave this a 5 because of a girl that was dancing, and got trapped by chatty Matty and Patty. She never really got a chance to do any moves. But she came down off the stage during her last song, and talked to me in the second row, to make sure I didn't feel left out. A nice personal touch. After reading a few reviews on Deja Vu I figured I might as well re-live my night spent here. Me and my boys had all gone out to happy hour after work, 6 of us. We drank our way around downtown and as the night went on one by one I lost a boy. It was between 9pm and 10pm and there were just two of us left, he jokingly says let's go to the Vu I say sure! I walk right in not paying attention to the door guy; he's stopped and has to pay some cover. We find a 'couch' and sit down. Someone comes over and takes our drink order, a diet coke for me a sprite for him. Music starts and a girl starts dancing. I'm sitting there watching thinking she's a stripper? She's not very sexy, she's cute but not sexy and she has small boobs. She's done and another girl gets on stage she too was cute not sexy and had no boobs. Than a chubby chick gets up on stage and I'm like rock on chubby chicks unite! This went on for a while; there were a wide variety of girls to pick from someone for everyone. My friend was determined to get me a lap dance unfortunately none of the ladies approached us, I take that back one did but she did nothing for him and once he turned her away no one came to check in on us, oh well. That night was a fun night the next day at work wasn't so fun, my head hurt. My visit was on a Sunday night and the energy of this place was pretty mellow. The location is right in downtown and walking distance to the hotel I was staying at so we figured why not check it out. It's fully nude, so there's no alcohol served, just unlimited soft drinks included with your $20 cover. The waitress wasn't the most prompt and didn't come around very much even though it was a slow night. After reading Erik's review I had flashbacks of visiting this place. While they were not as good as Erik's experience, it wasn't terrible. I'm pretty picky about strip clubs but since we got in free with the coupons outside and the friend we were with knew a few of the dancers, getting in was easy. The whole non-alcohol and lousy lap dances sort of made it an awkward experience. I'm used to Arizona strip clubs which are um.. very friendly and very alcohol driven. And none of the girls were really wonderful. So needless to say, we left pretty early. But as soon as we started walking out they were apparently doing a "Shower Show" and we weren't able to get back in. Darn. Consider going to a car dealership for a better experience. I got there at about 10 pm on Friday, April 24, 2015 and expected a great night. I picked a spot in the second row, not real close to the stage, but where the view was decent. Before my butt hit the seat, I was swarmed. I lost count, but at least seven ladies 'greeted' me within less than three minutes. I told each one that I just got there, and wanted to watch the show for a few minutes. Three or four of these 'ladies' actually told me that I was an asshole for saying NO to them. Despite the twenty dollar admission fee, I was out the door in less than ten minutes. read more

I have never been to a strip club nor do I ever plan on paying money to see a woman's titties....that being said I am writing this review because I was walking my dog downtown when I crossed the street onto the sidewalk in front of this establishment by accident. I came across a group of girls standing outside of this joint smoking cigs. They all complimented me on how adorable my chow chow was and were very sweet. Some asked me how my day was going and waved and smiled goodbye as I thanked them and continued on with my walk.
