I have had an on and off water issues in my lower level for years. A previous "life-time…read moreguaranteed" solution from another provider went bad. The company went out of business so the guarantee was worthless. When I noticed a musty smell, I contacted three other companies for opinions and solutions, All gave me different information and a wide range of prices. When I told a realtor my frustrations, she recommended Dry Effects. When the inspector came out, I immediately felt confident with his knowledge and experience. The Dry Effects estimate was also more reasonable than the others. Dry Effects sent out two crews. The first one to remediate wetness/mold in the walls and another to install a drain connected to my sump pump. They also provided a guarantee for their work. When another hidden problem arose months later, they promptly remediated it at no cost to me. After COVID, I have found it hard to find service providers who are reliable and efficient. It was a relief to find Dry Effects.

This was supported by a live walkthrough for me to view what the repair person was talking about. The same afternoon (!) options were presented for replacement and a choice was made. An appointment was made and several days later the old furnace was taken out and a new furnace was installed in less than 4 hours. Everyone involved was extremely helpful and courteous. Bottom line: price quoted and installation met with no surprises. Clean space left with all old items and leftover stuff removed. Several weeks later, I remain completely satisfied with the job and would happily recommend this company based on my experience. I will continue to use them in the future.

I actually felt threatened by the 2 guys that showed up so I was nicer than I should have been. They kept saying "we can just leave!" I wish I would have just let them go. I've emailed the company but no response from my complaints. Here's my email to them: Hi Josh, I had my air ducts cleaned yesterday by your guys. I have a few things that I need to let you know about. * I asked them if they had shoe covers and they said no and that they would leave if I wanted them to. I asked them to stay. * They did not turn off the unit prior to cleaning which has now caused multiple issues with my unit. * I put in a new filter on Sunday. Today it is completely dirty. I expected a little dirt but not to the degree that it is now. * Because they did not turn off the unit prior to cleaning, all of the debris went back into my unit and it is now froze up. I have to have a service call to fix it because the air is not working. * I stayed with your guys to ensure they were doing their work properly and they kept making comments about me watching them saying "we better do a good job, she watching". They were not professional and I would like to be compensated for their work and attitudes and now my ac unit not working. I see there are no reviews on Yelp and I will probably be entering a poor one unless you can find a way to make this right.
