I was having trouble with noise from a blower on my 18 yo furnace. Further examination indicated…read morethat there were rusting portions of the heat exchanger. This was supported by a live walkthrough for me to view what the repair person was talking about. The same afternoon (!) options were presented for replacement and a choice was made. An appointment was made and several days later the old furnace was taken out and a new furnace was installed in less than 4 hours. Everyone involved was extremely helpful and courteous. Bottom line: price quoted and installation met with no surprises. Clean space left with all old items and leftover stuff removed. Several weeks later, I remain completely satisfied with the job and would happily recommend this company based on my experience. I will continue to use them in the future.

Thank you for contacting Quality Comfort! We'd be happy to help with the plumbing repair. Our service call charge is $68. The technician will present you with diagnosis/repair costs before proceeding with any work." I thought that was reasonable and set up the appointment, and Tyler arrived on time and was very professional. However, when we inspected my toilet, it refused to leak, even though there was definitely a leak a few days earlier. After flushing several times, we decided that this was a false alarm and I was prepared to pay the service charge. However, Tyler presented me with a bill of $220! I asked why that was so high, and he said he added "diagnostics" to the service charge. Diagnostics? All he did was remove the toilet cover lid. I paid, but I do not recommend this company. I would never have hired them if I had known about this policy. I later received bids from other contractors that said they would have replaced the wax seal under the toilet for $175! P.S. I was contacted by the company after posting this review, and they agreed to refund my payment except for the $68 service fee.

Two years ago I had a problem with my air conditioner. I had a large company come out and they…read moresaid they could fix it for $400 to $500 but I really need a new system that they wanted to sell me. I had Matt come out and he said it was just a leaky valve where they recharge the system. Total cost was less than half the price of the other. This spring my capacitor went out on a Saturday. I called Matt and he came out later that day and replaced it. He is a small local business with great customer service

BEWARE of Matt...he has a bad temper and will go off on you the second that you do not cater to his…read moreIMMEDIATE payment demand...no invoice offered or anything...sent him to look at furnace and a/c installs on 2 property flips and out of the clear blue sky he demands payment for his time from looking at the 2 projects...as a project manager to several investors I have to issue an Invoice for payment and the payment is made within 48 hours not 40 minutes. There is a process that any reputable HVAC tech would be aware of for investment property payments if they stayed working for the same investors (which obviously is NOT the case with Matt Gregg)...After being told off I had to calm him down and told him that I could just pay him personally and turn in an invoice for reimbursement later if he really needed me to...I had NO IDEA what his charges were or when and how he expected payments but I want NOTHING to do with having someone not paid for services so I sent him a Venmo for $200.00 RIGHT AWAY....I have been undeservingly ghosted ever since. I remembered that he said that he needed money up front for materials for jobs that he was doing and all I can think of is what if I paid him for materials and got ghosted after he got the money.....I am WARNING anyone considering doing business with this guy (whom I found on Craigslist) to run the other way...Something just isn't right about this guys practices and morals.
