My gf just moved into the city. I went to visit the new location with my gf and her best friend. They both love thrifting and I accompanied them in this store. Needless to say, the thrift store is clean. I was told that after 12 years, their original building was sold and so they had to find somewhere new to open. Besides the experience of shopping in this beautiful thrift shop, the owner was very kind. They have a lot of days throughout the week where they have different percent off of the products they sell. For example, the day we went on they had 75% off. The owner would even give you more discount in your behalf. I would say visit this shop. Not just for shopping. I should have gone here first!! The people that work here are always so nice! They excepted all of my donations too, even the ones that weren't that great. (Unlike the ARC Store who was overly picky and said they had too much good stuff already, without even knowing what was in the rest of my boxes.) This review is long overdue, but I didn't want to let the secret out. Hands down, best thrift store in Chico. Everyone that works here is the sweetest and I always save my donations for them. They take everything but clothes (at the moment). The owner, Terry is a sweetheart, and so is the manager, Susie. I've seen Terry give toys away for free to kids and give homeless individuals free clothes. They also have a "free rack" for those in need. This is a thrift store that truly cares about the community. I've seen it time and time again. Plus, you can't go wrong with the daily deals:) There's always something great to find here. Best thrift store in Chico. I unexpectedly found exactly what I was looking for and the staff was extremely cool and nice and made sure I got the best deal. Love this thrift store! The owner, her mom and the staff here are all super nice and helpful. They really help the local community through their store, and because of that I only donate my used items here now. I like to shop here as well and find interesting "gems" in the housewares, furniture and clothing areas from time to time. They have special discount days for students and seniors, as well as other discounts daily. They have recently painted and remodeled the entire store and it looks great. I really like this thrift store. The people that work there are always very friendly. It's a big store with a good selection! I think their prices are very fair. They do have dressing rooms so you can try things on. This place is a gold mine. They staff is very friendly and helpful. They have weekly deals and marked specials.

They have a ton of stuff including furniture. Some homeless people surrounding but it doesn't really matter.

One of the better thrift stores. Decent size. More likely to score cool clothing than anything else but some good furniture too. Usually a "free" rack of dollar-store type toys out front. Really great daily deals. Went on a Saturday and all of the clothes were bogo. Everything was priced pretty well. Definitely cheaper than Goodwill. They didn't overprice the name brand stuff either like Goodwill does. They also gave me an awesome bag made out of an old T-shirt to carry my stuff in. That was rad. The only downside was there wasn't a restroom available to customers. I guess they were working on fixing a leak. So I had to frantically run around the block looking for a bathroom while my 3 year old held it. Definitely a stressful moment for both of us. Overall a good place with a cool vibe and great deals. read more

One of the larger and better thrift stores in Chico. The selection is not quite as large as Thrifty Bargains but its a lot nicer building and better organized than they are. It has a good selection of clothes, furniture, dishes, kitchen stuff and other items. Prices are good too. While it doesn't have anything fancy or high end that I've seen, its a good place for normal, everyday stuff. Its definitely bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. The one issue I have is they have no AC, which makes it unpleasant to shop at in the Chico summer heat. Nicely organized by size, great daily specials, friendly, helpful staff, and they have a little bit of everything! Their prices are better than other local thrift stores and they have a designer rack! One of the better thrift stores in Chico, always really amazing deals!

Truly the only "thrift" store in town. It used to be that people donated goods so that low income people (such as myself) could afford things that they need. Well, the prices in every other thrift store in town are ridiculous. A men's T-shirt that used to go for one or two bucks is now going for around $6 to $12. Might as well go buy something new if you can afford that. Here's what I LOVE about SHOW LOVE: 1. The prices are reasonable and there is even a FREE box; 2. The employees are enthusiastic and helpful. You can tell they really like working there. If you ask for a particular item, they help you find it instead of glaring at you and waving their hand in a vague direction; 3. They have a GREAT selection of things to pick from; 4. The store is clean and spacious -- they don't cram things onto racks making them impossible to go through; 5. Their signs for sizes and descriptions are placed so that you can SEE them; 6. There's a great special running EVERY day of the week; 7. If they say "30% off on clothes" -- they really mean it! I have gone into another store after seeing a "50% off on clothes" sign and all they had was a meager rack up front of things that should have gone in the garbage; 8. And they even let you try on the stuff before you buy it. A few other stores still do that but they have Attila the Hun eyeballing you through the curtain to make sure you don't steal their stuff.
