What a great date adventure for me and my husband! Arvo, the weapons instructor was quite informative. He spoke about the science of weapons design and how the female physiology matters when learning to fire and purchasing the right weapon. We followed all of his instructions during the training and produced positive results. I was amazed when I hit the "X" on my first round! Thank you, Arvo! I recommend the training prior to purchasing if you are new to handguns or just interested. Test out the different guns they have to help with your purchase decisions. They have a wide variety of handguns and long guns. The experts behind the counters are knowledgeable about all the guns they have in-house as well as those that can be ordered. This is one of my dads go to shooting ranges. I come shooting here with him when I'm in town. He's training me on how to properly use a firearm. It's your average shooting range. We're able to get a lane each time we visit. They'll let you rent some guns here but we don't go that route. People really bring in their arsenals and shoot here. This is about as American as it gets down at the shooting range. Many family bonding moments here lol. read more

I've been coming here for years and even though certain rules do apply some attendants have been more flexible and friendly than the D*ckhead today. Won't be going back. Spending my money somewhere else where I safely have more Liberty as an Instructor/RSO. The prices have jumped and the range attendant thinks he can talk to customers foul. I love coming to Shots Fired. I have been blown away by the kindness of David, and I enjoy the experience each time I visit. I usually go once a week to the range and put some time in. I will say that the prices of most things are higher than you can get other places, but the customer service and care that you get is worth the extra few bucks. read more

I am very supportive of gun stores but this one is engaging in blatant false advertising plus the building is not safe. I tripped over uneven wood when going back to the range. I was only bruised a bit so no action there. They should NOT be advertising that they pay top dollar for used guns. It is classic pawn shop procedure and yes I should have simply walked out but I didn't. Decent enough place for buying a gun but definitely NOT the place to sell one. Also if you have any health challenges WATCH YOUR STEP. I used to really like this place though I hardly go very often and I made the mistake of trusting them for a fair deal. My brother and I took our Dad here for Father's Day because it was supposed to be a higher end range. Despite my proclivity for not venturing this far OTP due to the increasingly frequent encounters with people that proudly display an outdated state flag. The groupon helped assuage me. The interior is attractive, albeit laid out a bit like a maze. If you are bringing female shooters for the first time, this environment, at least aesthetically, is much more relaxing than most gun ranges. The customer service is indifferent, bordering on rude. I don't know if this is true for all employees or just the young, black man with a tapered fade and glasses. The terms of my Groupon were not respected, i.e. he would only allow 2 lanes when I paid for 3 and was perfectly content to not provide the MP5 that came with the purchase. (They leave out the part that you have to purchase their rounds to use their rentals) I asked him if he knew if they had a particular handgun in stock I was interested in seeing, to which he 'replied' "uh-uh". Was this uh-uh to if he knew or uh-uh to carrying it. He clarified after my asking, "no, no body likes them." It was a Springfield XD variant I was asking about...a widely popular gun. Sh*tty customer service Unethical marketing practices The range is actually 10 lanes split into 2 rooms. Rifle, shotgun and pistol on each of the rooms (why? Who knows). Again, going back to the novice shooter. How jarring it would be to shoot your first or second time with a .380 or .22 (small and quiet, relatively) and then the person right next to you is shooting a 12 gauge or 7.62 x 39mm(very loud). There are no tables behind the lanes for you to put gear or reloads if sharing a lane. It is a clean environment with good lighting and electronic target tracks that increase or decrease in increments of 0.5 yards. However, what is widely advertised on all of their social channels and website is the ventilation and climate controlled atmosphere. It was non existent, particularly the ventilation! The AC you could feel slightly if you stood at the back of the room. There was no respite from the choking powder and smoke discharged from the ammunition. Also, one lane in our room was broken. We were there for roughly 1.5 hours; by the end we all had sweated through our short sleeve shirts. An interesting and hypocritical rule about rapid fire is posted on each lane, curious as they rent fully automatic weapons. There is one 'broom' that is shared between rooms and no trash receptacle for empty ammo boxes or discarded targets. Bad environment Blatant false advertising We did have a great time shooting the MP5 and dialing in your targets was nice. Nearly $200 later we returned our rentals and 1 pair of ears (ear muffs). The gentleman that had set us up was still working the counter. He was assisting another customer, who was also renting a 9mm gun, however his price per box was $14.95, not the $16.95 I was charged. It is certainly possible that it was the result of benign factors but interesting none the less. This customer was having issues with his payment method and literally all this young man has to do is provide me with my license back so that I may leave, (you pay before entering the lanes, not after). Instead he continues his sole attention to this customer, unwilling or unable to provide even the most simple multitasking. It was when the conversation between them shifted to the employee's banking habits that I became extremely annoyed. Also worth noting that there is a room sized window with a waiting area behind each of the two shooting rooms. Again, curious, as each time you turn around you meet the gaze of strangers that are watching you. I was planning on browsing their selection to purchase my father a new gun to complete his father's day gift. But after the unpleasant and unwelcoming experience, decided my business would be appreciated in another establishment, as it clearly was not there. I could have tolerated a bad environment if the customer service had been good, even adequate. I could have tolerated the bad customer service if the product offering was as advertised but both together, nope. I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

Do not sign up for their membership It's basically a scam. Do not sell your gun to them. They will give you less than 30%. The only time you can shoot fast is if you buy their ammunition and rent their guns. Staff (Dan) is very rude and not welcoming. The owner (Eric) acts like he cares in his review response on there website but as a member he has my number. Total snake oil salesman. In fairness 9 out of 10 gun Sale clerks are total jerks. I found the staff to be quite friendly and helpful. The lanes were clean and climate controlled. The ventilation was less than many ranges I've shot at but not bad. Like most public indoor ranges there is a large viewing window behind half of the lanes. They have a nice selection of firearms for rent and also to purchase and were perfectly willing to let me checkout a couple rifles I had been considering and even look up availability and price on ordering a particular combination of make model and caliber knowing I wasn't purchasing at that time. Mind you all of this was on Christmas Eve no less. read more

I am fairly new to GA from NYC and quickly realized I needed to learn to use a weapon. I worked with Craig for a couple of lessons. He was patient, reviewed the GA laws, taught me how to safely handle a firearm, and then we went out on the range to practice shooting. We practiced a few scenarios. He answered my questions, an the sessions were worth it. Overall, I recommend the training to any woman who wants to get comfortable with a weapon. read more

The only reason I visited is because I had a Groupon. I had my own targets, ears, eyes, guns and bullets. I only needed range time. The staff member told us that we cannot bring our own targets in because it hurts business and they can't make money if we bring our targets even tho the Groupon includes a free target. This is the first time I have ever visited a range and been told such a thing. If this is a rule or policy it would be nice to have it posted. read more

SO I recently purchased a firearm from this location,let me just say the salesman that day was so helpful and very "Respectful". Although he forgot to order me another magazine,which wasn't a biggie. Anywho i returned back few days later to purchase another magazine and it was the wrong size,so i went back another day and the old guys in there that day was Awful,Rude and Mean.... i will never purchase from this place again and i was going to make another purchase BUT!! OH NOWAY! They seemed to be a little bit discriminative towards me. I was there before this lady and they assisted her before me and gave me this side eye look. Then when the guy got attitude for not having correct magazine i was not comfortable with he laid my money on the counter,snatched receipt off counter did not ask if i need it because i had another purchased on it,threw it in the trash and did not say thank you,did i help with your needs or nothing!! I was so pissed.... They were awful towards me and i do not want to pull the race card but that is what i SAW!!! read more

I have shot at this range a few times before today and have no problems. However, today was the worst experience I've had at any shooting range. First, YOU DON'T sell a customer hollow point to practice with. My friend that I was with asked to purchase a box of .38 rounds and received hollow points which are more costly. Hollow points were the only available rounds for purchase we saw. Second, upon check out, we were asked if we would like to close out together. Since we were on the same lane we didn't think much of it. When we approached the register and we're told the total we responded, "oh we wanted to pay separate," being that my friend had purchased ammo and I had not. The clerk acted irritated and responded rudely, "that's why I asked ya'll wanted to close out together." As if we annoyed him by our misunderstanding. After I sternly told him, "well now we're changing it," he was polite again. We did not appreciate being up-sold the pricier hollow points for target practice or being talked to condescendingly upon check out. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. We won't be back. read more
