It has a…read moretrail circling the outside of the park with wildflowers, local plants, butterfly attracting plants, environmentally friendly plants all around. Along side the path there are workout/exercise areas. There's even an area dedicated to exercise like an outdoor gym with an exercise bike and other gym machines. There are a few playgrounds for the kids, picnic tables, baseball diamonds and shelters. People fly model airplanes which are so fun to watch and groups play crickets sometimes in the large open areas. There are tennis/pickleball courts and basketball nets too. Plenty of easy parking. Easy access off the 190 thruway. If you follow the trail northwest out of the park it continues through Niagara University...from there you can access the Shoreline trail to Niagara Falls (South) or Lewiston (North). Across the road from the park is the actual reservoir. In winter there's a sledding hill, ice skating and warming house to use. There's also access to the rim around the top of the reservoir with great views. The path up there is gravel but tightly packed and wide (a roadway for the Power Authority) so easy to bike. Located at the corner of Military Road and Route 31 (Saunders Settlement Road) in the Town of Niagara it is close to shopping areas on Military Rd. as well. The sidewalks have been redone and are smooth enough to ride easily to your shopping destination. For me this is a convenient park to ride through on my way to the stores or just to ride around for fun.

When my husband and I were walking, there were a lot of kids playing basketball or little league in the fields. They didn't have a restroom accessible, but they had a porta potty next to the street. Being of polish heritage; curiosity had brought me to see changes; since covid; first hit. I loved the archway when you walked in; and was pleasantly surprised to see new food vendors. Great addictions were Mazureks Bakery, Bacik vendor, who has her own cooking show on Sundays in the evening , and Polish Cadets. Learned in addition, how the polish decorative eggs are made and the work and skill that goes into it. The rest of the festival was the same status quo. Liked how one didn't feel crowded in the food tent. Great job organizers.

The fields do not drain very well so if you show up after a recent rainfall, it's a bit soggy and very buggy. If the neighborhood has seen her dry spell, the park is very pleasant. When there are soccer games or other organized sports activities, the parking spaces fill up quickly. There are no bathrooms at this park.

Hamlin Park is a staple site of East Aurora. I learned the park is 16 acres large and has been around since 1899! The old trees are a sight to see, and the area feels like you're right in nature. The playground is vast and somewhat outdated, but the kids don't seem to mind. Many events take place here, too, including performances by the Aurora Players Theater and the Rotary Bandstand. Cars aren't allowed, and parking is limited; you might have to find parking on one of the side streets. I noticed there are restrooms too, and a couple of picnic shelters. Leave your beer, your dog and your snowmobile at home; they're not allowed, along with some other items you might want to look up before venturing out. It's a great public park and worth a stopover to relax and enjoy nature on one of the benches or bring a picnic and enjoy your time at one of the picnic tables. Truly, something for everyone.

The park had vendors, people were picnicking, kids were playing, there was a band and baseball field. Hamlin Park was out of a Hallmark Movie. Hallmark should not only continue to use Viddler's as a location for movies, but should also include this park for a summer movie location. The large soccer field in the center is perfect for practice as there is a large catch net behind the goal posts so you aren't chasing balls all over. Plenty of parking available, several shelters available for rent, and the greenery is beautiful. I have not tried reserving a shelter yet so I cannot speak to it. There is also a small pond where you can fish which is AWESOME. It's such a nice place to just take a walk or relax.

A lot has changed over the years though…read more Along with payment for the hall they request a copy of your home owners policy and a $300 deposit for any damages.They sent the deposit and policy back quickly after the event. My biggest complaint was the fireplace is supposed to automatically turn off at 8pm. A little before 6:30pm there were a few people left sitting by the fire and it shut off. The room cooled down quickly. That was kind of upsetting with how much you pay to rent the space.
