I love outdoor venues! I just feel more free and relaxed to enjoy the festivities. Latest Adventure at Shoreline was for Hilary duff! Nostalgia alert! She it's so authentically adorable and just ensure that we all felt so loved all night. It was a treat to listen to Bullet Proof live by the lovely La Roux! Great band! Also sending love to Jade LeMac! Amazing voice!

Came here for the Hilary Duff "Lucky Me" tour. This is NOT an ADA compliant amphitheater. Getting around the food/drink areas in a wheelchair is not possible.Nothing is even, there is inconsistent bumps, cracks and even the bridges are not stable. The bathrooms were not ADA complaint as well. ONE bathroom was available and it it did not fit my friends wheelchair (standard size) The food options were expensive and the employees at the bars were super rude. I asked for some napkins and they just rolled their eyes at me and said no, they aren't available for non paying customers, even though I had paid for a drink. Although I had premier parking, the staff seemed confused on when the lots were going to open. Messy!!! Won't go back.

I recently went to see Above and Beyond. There was no thorough security check, no pat down, but there is a separate line if you bring in a bag. It was a great crowd. It had a theme park vibe. Our friends rented 2 chairs for the lawn which was such a great idea. They also had Mexican blankets for rent. The lawn does have a slope to it. Bring your cleats. Jk. Lots of food options and small lines. You can get a bucket of cookies for $25. Bring your reusable water bottle. They had a few filtered water stations in addition to their water fountains. Drinks are pricey. For a cup of ice they charge $15. Parking is free.

It's quite a drive for me to get here, but the events are always worth it. For event days, they direct traffic so I recommend getting there an hour before the doors open to get the best parking. Parking is included and is well organized. Even leaving is well organized. I've been to other theaters where it's a mess. It is a short walk from the parking to the venue. Another reason to get there early is to get a bite to eat before the show. I had their meat loaded nachos and they were really good. They didn't skimp on the toppings either. I've been to events in the seats and others on the lawn. I personally enjoy the lawn because you can sit as you wish, stand up and dance around. Overall, one of my favorite amphitheaters in the area

Amazing experience seeing Rebelution in concert tonight. My husband and I purchased the hide away access to the bar right next to our seats so we didn't miss critical moments in the concert. I Also recommend for folks to pay for the premier parking. Stop being cheap. You get what you pay for. So please stop leaving bad reviews when you pay for the lowest parking and seats.

favorite arena in the Bay Area! I've been to most of the concert arenas from Sam Francisco to Concord and Shoreline Amphitheater will always be my favorite: the security check and check in quite easy, there are at least 2 areas with bathrooms one can use, it's easy to refill a waterbottle, the lawn is quite big and there are many large TVs to enjoy whatever is on the stage without paying a lot for the closer seats. Yes, parking is hard so that's why one can lyft and walk a bit from the arena to be picked up, any concert arena will be having troubles with parking and slow moving after an event, be that this or any other arena in the area. Not sure why so many negative comments, I've been to many worse concert arenas.

Great venue especially with good weather. Stadium seating plus the availability of the lawn area provide nice options. Outside the amphitheater is a good setup for amenities, f ood options, and merch. I've watched a a few shows here and this venue allows for a good time. Like most, the traffic in and out is horrible by here is due to the subpar logistics and traffic control.

A bit of a mixed bag. They book great bands that I'd love to see. And I've seen some amazing shows when I've showed out the money for the first 10 rows If you do get tickets, which you need to if you want to see anything, get them in the first front half of the theater. The lawn is so huge. You can barely see some of the screens forget about seeing this stage. Prepare for many lines and expensive food and drink. Finally it takes forever to get in and out of the place. To combat that they charge as much as a concert ticket to park in a place where you can get out quickly. That's probably the killer for me and makes me not want to go back...

I like this venue a lot. Just the right size, the vendors are great and the facilities are well kept and clean. Almost every seat is a good one and the location is perfect, especially weather-wise! Cools off nicely for summer concerts! 5/5

Horrible experience. Over 2 hours stuck in the parking lot, nothing moves. I can't recommend this place

Ask the Community - Shoreline Amphitheatre

How smooth is the Uber pickup/dropout? Any tips to avoid wait times?

Do they allow dogs on the lawn?

    No.

    Can uber come pick up?

Of course, but you may have to worry about higher prices to come to the venue. It is usually best to walk a couple of blocks away and hail an uber that way, so there is no surge pricing and easier access.

Is there seating by the food /drink concession stands?

There are picnic tables in a grassy area near most of the drink and concession stands, or at the entrance, there is a seating area with tv screens that show what is taking place on stage.

I'm debating on getting tickets to the hideaway for my next show, are the drinks free there?

Not worth the money. Very small bar, no food. Still a slow line during break between acts.

Is VIP terrace 21 and up only? We're taking our 8yo to see Fall Out Boy in July. I keep getting emails about the VIP Terrace. I've done the lawn and seats, But always skipped the VIP? Is it worth the cost and do they allow kids inside?

I do believe it's all ages. ,But it may have it's own rules on what show is playing. Good luck and have fun..

Hi! Does anyone know what the "VIP Terrace Access" upgrade is?

The venue has its own VIP patio (terrace) where they sell dinner and drinks. This is a VENUE ONLY upgrade and is NOT a part of any artist VIP package. The terrace upgrade can be purchased through the venue's website or at box office.

How is wheelchair accessible? We have section 102 row B?

to access that section and row you would have to descend down stairs. There are ADA seats available at the top of the 100's seats and the top of the 200's seats as well as the front of 201

What time is the noise curfew? Just wondering what time shows usually end by.

11pm and it's a pretty hard limit. I saw a big clock slightly off stage and every band I've seen there seems to keep a close eye on it.

Can I please get a straightforward answer- my friends and I are attending the Alanis concert this Saturday 8/6/22 & haven't been to the venue in quite some time- can't find solid answer on website & want to know if TAILGATING is allowed?

Yes, you can tail-gate if you get there early enough, but why would you do that when you're going to party on the green after you get inside? Bring a clear plastic bag with bottles of water, and sandwiches. You want to get inside as soon as you can,…

I would hate to leave my friend alone and have to be separate. Does anyone know if someone in my party who's handicap and required to sit in the wheelchair access, can the rest of the ppl in her party buy handicap spots to sit with that one person?

Yes. My handicap friend and family sit together in the handicap section.

What are the current Covid guidelines? Do you have to show vaccine card or negative test?

    No Covid requirements

Can I bring a canvas tote bag?

No tote bags allowed. Only clear bags or small clutches.

We want seat fairly close to restrooms and as few stairs as possible to access the restrooms. Would we be better off at the top of Section 203 or the bottom of Section 203?

    Top

Any where close by restaurants to eat before concert starts at shoreline amphitheater?

in-n-out is close by for something fast! there's also a good soup restaurant called "bowl of pho" that's not too far away.

Can i Bring a burger from in and out?

Any food as long as it's in a clear one gallon ziplock bag. Also up to one gallon of water but it must be a sealed container.

If I do an Uber pickup after the show, roughly how long should I expect to wait to get out of there? I've heard parkers can be stuck for 1.5-2 hrs... is Uber the same? Any experience setting pickup location a little ways away instead?

Walk to Sports Page and get picked up there. So much easier. About .5 mile. You can also have a drink while you are waiting. We have also left the show a little early to get our Uber out of there first.

    Is there a smoking section?

I think the upper part of the lawn sections you can. All the way to the very end where the fence is. i just noticed last weekend there was a bunch of people smoking cigarettes .

Recommend any motels close by to stay at? Coming in for a show but don't want to drive all the way back to Oakland that night.

Not close enough to walk but plenty that are a short carshare away.

I have attended a couple shows here, but always sat in the seats right above the boxed seating area, which to me is too far away. Is there a pit area? If not, then do they let people sitting in the very front row get close to the stage?

No. There's no pit and everyone with seat tickets stay in their respective area. Only the lawn area is GA. This venue does NOT arrange or move seats like an arena or stadium.

Parking, entering and exiting were relatively easy. Staff is friendly. Cons: Food concessions were horrible! We went to buy dinner BEFORE THE MATCH STARTED. First place we went to offered 3 items. They were sold out of 2 and the cashier didn't even know it. Another employee informed her. (Come to think of it, I didn't ask about the 3rd item so maybe they were out of that as well.) We instead went to the new, heavily-promoted chicken place. They were nearly out of everything and we were told they weren't making any more. Again, this was BEFORE THE MATCH STARTED. We did get a few items and they were quite bad. My tenders and tots were dry and flavorless. I didn't finish them. If we go again, we'll try the food trucks instead. Signage is poor. We managed to get there fine between GPS and traffic flow but it was never clear what lane we should/could be in. Same with leaving. Maybe I was spoiled by recently watching the World Cup on TV, but I was shocked by the complete lack of information and statistics given to the crowd either by PA or onscreen. The scoreboard (half of which usually showed ads) occasionally showed replays and displayed the score, but that was it. It struck me that a hearing impaired person would literally only know the score. I kind of liked how the PA didn't talk much, but, if that's the case, there needs to be information displayed somewhere. We sat near the corner and the view and sight lines were actually decent but I found it odd that the seats weren't angled towards the field. We either had to sit diagonally in our seats or sit with our heads turned. My neck was sore by halftime.

I also planned to go to day 3 with a group of friends. On D2, I was able to carpool at a garage with a friend approximately a 20 minute walk from the stadium. I don't recommend parking here at all. Getting out of it was a nuisance since we had to wait almost an hour before we were able to leave the garage due to traffic. I highly recommend taking CalTrain to/from the stadium which is what I did with my group of friends on D3. It was very convienent and we were able to hop on a train within 15 minutes when we got to the station after the concert. The security and staff were very friendly and were happy to help us when we had questions. It was a bit disorganized and I wasn't sure where to go on D2. I wasn't aware nor notified I had to get a wristband for floor until a nice fellow Army let me know. Luckily a staff member pointed me to the right location to pick them up. D2 was quite disorganized in the 100's section. It was extremely crowded once I was trying to navigate and find my way how to get to floor. Once I got my bearings and got to my seat, I was so excited! My section was worth the last minute price ($670 via official TM) because I was directly in front of the main stage. I got to see the boys up front and close and vibe with Army and them! Exiting from floor was a pain, because there was only one exit from my section and I had a meet up location planned to meet up with my friend who was sitting in the 100's section. Getting out was a little confusing because there were barricades everywhere. Signal is also HORRID here and I was lucky enough to call my friend to tell her to meet up with me at a specific gate. D3 went a lot more smoother and I noticed there was less crowds in the 100's section. Maybe because it was a Tuesday? Bathrooms were easier to get to that day also. We were seated in section 126 and still had a great view especially of the side stage. Outside the stadium can get extremely dusty, and I highly recommend wearing a face mask to prevent breathing in the dirt. Overall I had a wonderful experience especially for going solo on floor!
