Looked this up online- it said it sounds spoiled. When I called the store, the customer service desk told me that because I purchased it in the reduced price area it's not refundable- I purchase from the reduced priced area regularly and I am fully aware of their no-refund policy on reduced items-It's labeled right on the front of the fridge door, but come on!! DOES THE STORE REALLY THINK ITS OK TO SELL SPOILED ITEMS??

This place is cute! Stopped in for the first time today, and I was impressed!…read more It's clean, well stocked, and organized. On the way in one of the cashiers offered my daughter a sticker. I'm so used to Wegmans, which is a powerhouse, that I was shocked to see how few registers they had up front. But the lines were not long. They have a good sized produce section, a deli, and a bakery. (Apparently they make the donuts from scratch!) I picked up a few of those to try, and they were delicious. In the back by the bakery is a cute little floral department. Spring gnome decorations were EVERYWHERE, and my daughter thought that was just THE BEST. There is also a pharmacy nestled right in the middle of the store. Prices were a bit more expensive than you'd find at the "big box" stores for many items, but I saw quite a few that were price comparable or cheaper. They've got some great day of the week deals (like sticks of butter on Tuesday, a half gallon of milk on Friday). I also loved the signage - they tagged gluten free, dairy free, heart healthy, and sales were easy to spot. For being a smaller store, they also had a pretty great selection of specialty items! There was a good 4ft sized section in produce devoted to meat free and dairy free right up front. I definitely plan on going back to try out more of the baked goods, and the pizza slices smelled delicious, too!

Four stars for service. Two stars for store layout. Couldn't…read morefind stuff! Three stars for product selection Average- 3 stars. This is a typical supermarket. We came to stock up our rental home a couple times. We are visiting for a week. We grabbed three carts and started shopping. It was 830 at night, the deli had closed but the manager was available. I wanted a bag of mussels. The signage was poor so we couldn't figure out what it said. The manager came and decided it said $70!!!! So we skipped the mussels that trip. Come to find out, they were actually $7 so we bought them the next day. Cheese has its own little case for the fancy stuff. I was surprised they did not have shredded Gouda for my quiche, so I found a brick. And where are the pretzel crisps?!!! Those are my favorite dipping chip for hummus. And Stacy's pita chips are only in the small bag in the chip aisle. WTH?! I didn't think they had a big bag, but I found the big bag near the deli the next day. Weird. Whipped cream is also hard to find. It's in its own mini fridge in the walkway between the milk and the other dairy. A customer in a scooter helped me find it. Wegman's brand foods tend to be cheaper than national brands. Their items have turned out to be pretty good. Lays wavy bbq chips are better than Wegmans though. The checkout line is fast and friendly. They opened up a register for us. They even helped us with the loyalty card, which saved me $3 on a $271 order. Geez. Food is expensive. Bathrooms are clean and decorative! Fancy soaps, lights and flowers. I've never seen a grocery store bathroom like it! Parking is extensive. A huge lot. Overall we are enjoying our groceries and we will be back tomorrow.

Specialties would be their jams and pickles- I have fun just looking at the names of them. Their candy selection is also good, especially if you like gummy candies. I can also find some unique sodas such as white birch beer, sassafras soda, and cheerwine to name a few. There is a little gift shop/religious books section near the front, which can be nice to browse through. Saunders sells outdoor furniture and decor, and there is a furniture store proper attached. I've been especially tempted by their swiveling and gliding rocking chairs. I've had some good food at the cafe, the Reuben in particular being super tasty. You do have to enter the cafe through the store and park your cart before you go into the cafe. You order at the counter and then the staff gives you a number and will bring you your meal. Car parking is ample here but there are speed bumps, so watch it! I haven't noticed any bike racks, so cyclists likely need to get creative. The store is closed on Sundays and can be busy with campers during the summer months.

I firat found out about this Mexican Store and Taco Truck from locals while I was at an art exhibit that was in town. This place may very well have the most authentic taco experience in Western New York. The taco truck is parked outside of the grocery store, and you can order single tacos in steak, chicken, carnitas, chorizo, and al pastor, or buy an order of tacos, which gives you one of each! Each taco has tons of meat, along with diced onion and cilantro, and comes with lime wedges and pickled onion. Bottles of Guacamole, Roja and Verde sauces are also available, I personally love the Verde. There are a few tables outside, and a few indoors in a side room of the Store. The taco truck seems to only be open on weekends from mid May to mid October. The store is interesting as well, with a lot of fresh produce, snacks, clothes and more that you can't find at most grocery stores.

This is a review of the actual store. The taco truck, which sits outside, has very limited hours, and is only open in the summer, so I will do a separate review of that when I finally get to try it. Hopefully Yelp will move the Taco Truck reviews over to the new listing once it exists. The people running it are lovely. The Mexican drinks are dirt cheap and authentic imported. Try all of the Jarritos, or try some of the Mexican coke which is made with real sugar and therefore actually tastes surprisingly... good! You can see from the pictures that the place is full of all kinds of amazing stuff. If you're ever in Medina, you must stop by. It's not a town you'd ever expect such a marvellous extensive Mexican store in, and yet, here it is. I hope they stay in business. I think they're connected to the Monte Alban restaurants in Rochester and the burbs of the 585. And of course if the taco truck is open, stop there and have a taco. You can always call this store and ask if their taco truck is open, and if not, then when. Speaking of tacos, would you like to see mine. Oh wait, I have the other thing. The Chorizo. Well maybe you can put Chorizo in the Taco? That sounds like it would be perfect. Let me know if you're up for it. After all, it's my life. And all the people, so many people, all go hand in hand through their Parklife. Damon "Monte" Albarn told me.

They sell groceries, cheeses, meats, snacks, bread, coffee, and awesome swag, all from local farms, and restaurants, and businesses in the area. Plus the owners are at cash register with their little baby, happy to help guide you to their favorites. They grew up in Burdett and can give some great advice on where the cool hangout spots are. This is also the spot if you want to have an evening in or pack a picnic to take to the lake stuffed with amazing goodness from the local farms I am a "Part-time" local and today was my first day popping in. I wanted to stay in tonight but still have a delicious local meal. I bought a bag of Polenta from Farmer Ground. (Trumansburg) Chèvre garlic and pepper from Lively run goat dairy. (Interlaken) Chilled Mediterranean quinoa salad (Stonecat Cafe in Hector NY) and frozen Garlic bratwurst (packed by Timberland Meats (Dundee) farm fresh asparagus, and chocolate milk from (Sunset view creamery) They have great shaded parking, and I was able to pull in on a nice windy day and leave my dog in the car with the windows down. I ran into a couple of other locals that I knew and struck up a pleasant conversation. They have picnic table out front, so you can buy your farmdelicious foods and eat them out side and enjoy the day. Locals and tourists alike, we're hanging out at the picnic tables, having fun. Their decor is so cute. Perfect country store vibe, with a granola and wine twist. It's nice to see a small family business connecting locals farms and community through the food they carry. Today was an extra bonus day, because Nickels BBQ food truck was parked in lot, their BB sauce is also sold inside Burdett exchange, if you want your own bottled sauce. After I cashed out with ny groceries. I popped over to them for a brisket sandwich, coleslaw, and fries. If you're lucky enough to see them there when you pop over, highly recommend giving them a try, delicious and I will review them separately. This place is downtown burdett 3 simple streets from Route 414 and is a must try, and grab some gifts for your friends while you're there. Now my biggest decision today is what wine to pair with my dinner in tonight. Lol
