We were walking down the street yesterday, saw the signs and they peaked our interest. Walked inside and we were greeted by Clay. We asked if he could explain how it works and he was so kind to my daughter and I. He showed us how it worked, did a gun safety explanation and showed proper handling. These weapons were modified to hold a co2 canister to give the feel of kickback. My daughter had a great time and is begging me to take her back to do the moving range. We loved all the differnt game options. This business also has a mobile simulation range which is awesome. We are definitely coming back to do this another day. read more

Phil is the man, I feel like this should be mandatory for Ccw to be honest. You go through so many simulations in so many different things that can happen so that you can prepare. I had no idea this place was here until I walked down the street one day and decided to pop my head in to see what it was all about. They have huge screens displaying any number of options you want for your shooting experience, targets, moving targets, any number of different scenarios and scenes, all very interactive. They have basic dummy guns and then ones that have been modified with CO2 cartridges to simulate recoil. These are the way to go! They make for a much more fun and realistic experience. The gentleman helping us out was super nice and helpful, and pulled up a variety of awesome simulations to play, kept us entertained the whole time! This business is awesome in every way! Except...the price.. This would have been a 5 star experience for sure, and the only reason I am giving this establishment and experience 4 stars is the unexpectedly high cost. read more

Such a fun experience! I booked a private 1 hour session for my husbands birthday. We had 14 adults and 2 kids in our group. We had access to the whole facility. When I called to inquire, the staff was so friendly over the phone. When our group arrived, they were just as friendly. Phillip was our instructor and he kept the whole group laughing the whole time. This was really a great experience. We learned gun safety, handling and proper aiming. (For example, I found out that my dominant eye is my left and that I've been aiming incorrectly for years.) The simulations range from serious, to arcade style (Killing zombies). I went with my friend and we had shooting competitions hitting moving targets. The owner, Phil, was awesome. Some additional benefits was shooting without spending a ton of cash on ammo at a real gun range. Also, being able to move across the facility and aim at targets was a unique. Great place my son noticed while driving by in downtown Oceanside, so we dropped in to check it out. Turned out to be a lot of fun, with five huge projection screens and three activity areas (three of the screens are linked together to create one large activity area where two people can either compete or play co-op together in various scenarios.) The staff is very nice & helpful, and can recommend & customize scenarios depending on age level and/or skill. We enjoyed our first visit so much we came back for my son's birthday with his buddies. Everyone had a blast and since the price includes up to four players it was a pretty good deal. read more

Guys night out we wanted to go shooting but we also wanted to drink and be safe. This was perfect! The staff was super friendly and helpful for the newbies and experienced people in our group. Going in, I knew the nature of the class, but once you have to make a decision to use lethal force, it's not that easy, even in a shooting simulator class. There are many scenarios, and it's unpredictable, which can help you in real life. I highly recommend this class. I will be back for additional training. read more

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Shore Shot for instruction. Three of us did a handgun class and it was so worth it. We spent the morning in the classroom, did some dry fire practice, used the simulator, and headed to the live range in the afternoon. All three of us are much more confident in our accuracy and handgun safety. If you feel like you aren't accurate with your handgun, you need to get instruction at this facility...trust me.
