She seemed to stay down at one end with a group of three regulars and didn't pay attention to most of the people at the bar. The place was not busy. The food I ordered was very average and the bartender didn't come over to see how it was or if I needed anything. Stopped here for a beer on our day trip to Manchester NH! My husband ordered the Local 603 Red Ale. It was ice cold with clean lines. I ordered the VT Citizens Cider on tap it was also ice cold. We were great as soon as we sat down. We ordered a side of fries cooked extra crispy, since we were just here for a quick visit. They came out quickly, hot and cooked just right, but not salted at all. Our server was very happy to answer questions and willing to joke with my husband. Shopper's has a hole in the wall feel with a big bar selection of beers! We did go at 1:30 in the afternoon so the place was dead. They do have an advertisement for a Pizza special on Mondays , Trivia night on Tuesdays, Musical Bingo on Wednesdays and Live music on Sundays. Check it out! read more

No one should have to put salt on their burger in order to eat it....AFTER it's been cooked. No batch of wings should be served with the most minimal amount of buffalo sauce to the point of wondering what type of wings one is eating. Salt and pepper wings....should taste like they have.....SALT AND PEPPER on them. These are just a a few of the things that made it easy for me to rank this place where I did. And it's a real shame, considering they're mere walking distance away from the Residence Inn hotel of which we are currently staying. And that may be the only good thing about them, I'm afraid. At least the prices are fair, because I've honestly had better food from Applebee's. And it PAINS me to say that! Ultimately, I think I liked the wings more than the burger. At least the wings had a HINT of flavor. But the burger tasted like someone took a slab of meat and tossed it right on the grill without even so much as a second thought to season it. Even though we only got take out from here, I did manage to see the inside of the place. It looks like your typical rustic white-bred bar you would expect to see in the likes of such TV favorites as "Cheers". Fortunately for me, nobody knew my name. Decided to check this place out in a whim and I am glad I did. The place is very nice inside and there is a good beer selection. Food menu is typical bar food so no thrills there. I am from Texas and when I see fried pickles, I get fried pickles. I wasn't expected much but those things were amazing! They had fried peppers with it and let me tell you it paired so well. Definitely top 3 best I have ever had. We ordered some burgers just to play it safe on the entrees. Simple burgers so nothing to report on those; however, we were asked how we wanted our burgers and we have different preferences on our meat patty done-ness. I like mine medium and she prefers medium well. Usually you get what you get with burgers at a bar, but not here. They cooked our patties perfectly, I mean right on the money. My fiancé, a family friend, and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time today. As we stepped into the athletic themed restaurant we were very intrigued. However we were very confused because no one greeted us after standing there for a minute, we ended up just seating ourselves? We started with drinks. I got a cosmo, my fiancé got a gin and juice and the family friend got a beer. Drinks were very good. Beer was fresh. We then ordered food. I got the taco salad, fiancé got the Ruben, and family friend got bbq wings. The food was delicious!! The ONLY issue we had was with the wings. After eating about two of them we noticed they were VERY pink. We decided to say something after cutting the wings open and realizing they were all on the pinkish side. The waitress Rose kindly told us that she gets this all the time and it's because they brine them! No big deal but it would be nice to know they brine them.. seems that we aren't the only ones with this issue since she stated "she gets this all the time." Other than that one issue (which is why I didn't give the restaurants 5 stars) it was delicious. Nice place to hang out with friends and get a drink and a bite to eat! Shopper's is a solid 3-star. My brother, sister-in-law and I came in around 7p on a Saturday and were able to get seated immediately. My brother and I each got the Oasis burger, and SIL got the mac n cheese. The burgers were solid, but not fantastic. Mac n cheese was a bit cold. Staff was polite, but fairly mediocre. Shopper's Pub + Eatery at Indian Head opened recently inside the former Indian Head Athletics sporting goods store, across the street from SNHU Arena. The owners teamed up with Shopper's Café in Waltham, MA and renovated the store space into an inviting neighborhood sports bar and grill. The place has seating up at the long bar (fully stocked with 20 beers on tap), high top table seating, booths, and 18 flatscreen HD TVs throughout the bar including 4 TVs mounted from the ceiling in the center of the room. At the time of my visit, all of the TVs had the Red Sox game on. The walls have some vintage décor from Indian Head Athletics and old Bedford youth sports teams framed pictures. As for the food, the food menu offerings and pricing is very similar to Shopper's Café including appetizers, wings, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and pub entrees (steak tips, turkey tips, chicken parm). The prices here seem pretty fair, most appetizers $6.95-$10.95, sandwiches/burgers with fries or slaw $7.95-$14.45, and entrees $10.95-$17.95. I stopped in at Shopper's Pub + Eatery for a late dinner recently. I could seat myself anywhere and sat at a high top table near the bar. The bartender/server arrived with food and drink menus. For a starter, the Fried Pickles & Cherry Peppers ($6.95) was served in a basket, lightly battered deep fried pickle chips and cherry pepper slices served with thousand island dressing dipping sauce. This appetizers was very good, but very oily as well. For dinner, I ordered the Garden Burger ($9.45) served with natural cut fries and pickle chips. The fries were lightly deep fried, served hot with a soft texture, slightly greasy. The Garden Burger was big, which had a grilled handmade grain and mashed veggie patty (there were beets in the mix) with fresh leaf lettuce, tomato slices, red onions, and thousand island dressing (the cook also drew a smiley face) on the open face patty, served on a toasted artisan bun. As soon as I was finished, the bartender brought over the check promptly. The total check for one fried appetizer, one garden burger with fries & pickle and an ice water was $17.88 with tax and before tip, which was pretty reasonable. The service was courteous and prompt. I will definitely be back here again, perhaps to try their pizza next time. read more

What a great meal. Staying at the Residence Inn on our first night in New Hampshire as a family we picked this restaurant due to walking distance. This restaurant was listed as a good choice. Great food, and they are so warm and welcoming. We won a couple of dollars playing Keno plus they shared a good luck bottle of beer from Belgium. Went in for the soft opening and it was great! Food was free, beers you pay for. Environment was great. Beers a little pricey, but food was unreal and portion sizes were great. Fast forward 4 weeks. Restaurant is stabilised, good customer base. Get a chicken salad wrap, literally less than half the amount from the first visits. Bite into the second half of the wrap, there is no chicken salad, just lettuce. Bartender doesn't care. Says you get what you paid for. Couple weeks later, go back in. Service is awesome. Bartenders are first class. Get a chicken sandwich to go. You want a fried chicken breast or grilled? Grilled please. God damn thing was less than 1/8 of an inch thick and 2 inches wide. This is a great place to watch a game- TV monitors are everywhere and they put the sound up for big games. The location across from SNHU is perfect for pre or post-gaming events there. Let me start this by saying I had high hopes for this place. I was excited to check out a new Sport's Bar with parking in Manchester and this place was disappointing from the start. Four of us went on a Sunday night to watch football and it wasn't very busy. We picked a high top and there were a ton of TV's so we were cool with that. Then we experienced terrible service... It took 20 minutes to get our drinks and the bartender clearly had better things to do than to make drinks. Our server was sweet but overwhelmed with the lack of help. The food came out after about 30 minutes and was decent. The pizza was good and the sandwiches were meh. This place is understaffed and underperforms in the customer service category. It's new so I will chock it up to growing pains but they need to hear the feedback to improve their customer experience. read more

He proceeded to make derogatory comments, not related to the comment I had made, and said, "just giving it back to you". I wondered if the place was open when I got in because there were 0 patrons present at 4:30pm - I just sat myself since there also no staff present initially. Drinks were very good - old fashioned was well made (it was listed as an actual cocktail on the menu) and my friend's margarita was top notch. I thought that this place may be a good restaurant to bring my family to watch the Patriot's preseason game against Philadelphia but it was anyplace but to go. The atmosphere was very loud not due to the game but to many tables not interested in the game. It was so loud that you could not even hear the TV game announcers. The service was slow and the food was just OK . . . had better at many other restaurants close by. When there was a question on the bill the waitress refer to the manager who approach the table and became very loud, obnoxious and rude. It appeared that he made up his mind without trying to understand our concern. At time I feared that he would escalate his comments to a physical assault . . . my family was afraid, I was afraid. I stopped in here while waiting in line to see Donald Trump speak across the road at the arena. The staff was very nice and welcoming selling hot coffee for those out in the freezing rain. There was however one negative female employee who had an attitude for no reason. She saw me in the bathroom trying to warm up and dry off next to the heater blowing out hot air. She had a very rude tone asking what I was doing even though it was pretty obvious and when I told her I was soaking wet and trying to warm up she said k again horrible attitude. She was so bothered she decided to shut the heat off. Not sure why she was so bothered by this as I bought a few things there and just needed to warm up for a bit. As I was leaving she again was bothered by a man with a Handicapped placard pulling up on the side of the road out front to use the bathroom. Pretty much everyone in there was there because of the Trump rally so she should be grateful it is brining in business. Overall really not a good impression which is too bad the bar itself is nice and the rest of the staff was very friendly and welcoming to Trump supporters! read more
