For context, the store owner, Martha Morgan, has been in this business since 1979. She first operated in Trolley Square, and the downtown Wilmington location (close to the Hotel Du Pont) is relatively new. Morgan's definitely feels like a classic boutique shopping experience. The clothes and accessories are all thoughtfully curated, and customers feel very welcomed. I browsed the racks. Martha came over after helping another customer with a lovely prom dress. Martha provided me with a quick yet thorough consultation about my needs. Then she pulled a few dresses for me, including a stunning royal blue gown that I had not seen while browsing. Reader, this blue dress fit like it was made for me. I truly think she plucked it from a magic portal. My color, my size, and a cut that flattered my body and made me feel confident. I only needed to try this one dress on, and I was sold! The dress was under my budget and final sale--I wasn't concerned because I knew that it was a keeper. I got many compliments while wearing it.
