Do you need a nice dress for a nice event? Come to Morgan's! I had a wonderful experience shopping…read morehere recently. I visited on a whim, looking for a dress to wear to attend a Saturday night wedding. I really wasn't sure if I'd find anything, especially because I needed it on short notice. But I was hopeful. This would be my first kid-free night out in a long time, and I wanted something special. My maximum budget was $250. For context, the store owner, Martha Morgan, has been in this business since 1979. She first operated in Trolley Square, and the downtown Wilmington location (close to the Hotel Du Pont) is relatively new. Morgan's definitely feels like a classic boutique shopping experience. The clothes and accessories are all thoughtfully curated, and customers feel very welcomed. I browsed the racks. Martha came over after helping another customer with a lovely prom dress. Martha provided me with a quick yet thorough consultation about my needs. Then she pulled a few dresses for me, including a stunning royal blue gown that I had not seen while browsing. Reader, this blue dress fit like it was made for me. I truly think she plucked it from a magic portal. My color, my size, and a cut that flattered my body and made me feel confident. I only needed to try this one dress on, and I was sold! The dress was under my budget and final sale--I wasn't concerned because I knew that it was a keeper. I got many compliments while wearing it. Most importantly, I felt my best while celebrating. I will definitely come back to Morgan's when looking for another special fashion piece.

I just bought a $70 sweater that has loose threads coming out all over after 1 wear, and they won't let me return it, not even for store credit. I understand the return policy but feels unfair that Im out $70 because the integrity of the sweater is poor and I'm the only one paying the price. Cute stuff, but im always disappointed with the quality. Finally deciding to take my business elsewhere for that price range :(

Felt as though my stylist made no effort to have personal connection and just tried to make a sale without allowing my family and I to discuss things we liked about each dress to help find the perfect one. Was glad this wasn't my first store or else I would've been very discouraged as a bride. Bridal shopping should be joyous not stressful. The changing room was off of a tight hallway and where multiple brides dresses were hanging so I felt crammed on my many rushed trips to and from my groups room and the changing stalls.

My consultant, Shana, was wonderful from start to finish. She was friendly, patient, and truly took into consideration what I liked/disliked about each dress. All wedding attire is located upstairs. It's a semi-private area that is shared with other future bride(s) and their guests. I brought along my four bridesmaids who were all given dry erase boards to write what they liked about each dress- which honestly was great for my confidence and added fun to the experience! Even though the area was being shared with another bride and her consultant, I felt like we had plenty of space and privacy. I tried on a total of ten dresses, but I was really torn between two of them on which I liked the best. Shana ended up bringing me one more dress that was a mix between the two. It was perfect. She brought me a veil to try with the dress and I had the storybook moment where all the emotions hit me at once. I never once felt pressured to purchase anything and I didn't feel rushed at all during my appointment. Turns out, the dress I selected was part of a trunk sale where I got 10% off too! Overall, an amazing experience that I will forever remember. Thank you Shana and Claire's Fashions

Ones…read morewhere I don't have to worry about the buttons popping open or that they are too large in the waist. I've found that with the blouses that I've ordered from entreDonovan. I was skeptical at first, but thought I'd try out at least one blouse. After the initial fitting, I liked the concept - get measured, pick materials, buttons, styles. In a couple of weeks, my first blouse arrived. I wore it to work the next day. I received more compliments regarding that blouse than I had received for any other item of clothing that I'd worn to work in my entire career. The size was perfect, especially in the bust area which is my biggest issue. After several months, I am still happy with my purchase. I've even ordered a few additional blouses in different styles and colors. I've been very happy with all the purchases. I've even ventured purchasing a couple of pairs of shoes. I love the shoes, the fit and the quality. My next purchase is a suit. I'll let you know how it goes with that. If the suits are as good as the blouses, I'd upgrade this business to a 5 star. Didn't want to give it the 5th star yet as I haven't tried the suits yet. FYI - I am a woman who works in sales with a predominately male sales force.
