Been to store many times and find the service and knowledge of the staff great. I come from a service background in hotels and appreciate the staff being very helpful and knowledgeable on the products supplied. They have a great selection of different types of hand guns and rifles, tho I wish they had more ak's but that's just personal preference. Prices are in line with the market. read more

I was in the store. Yes you need to take a number. with this demonrat induced lockdown the world has gotten kinda screwy I can see that. What I do find interesting is that all the negative reviews have no friends ( not surprising ) and have done one review or have done multiple reviews ( witch are all negative ). The store itself seems to have a good selection of used and new guns. My 2 cents read more

Wouldn't sell me a gun because the address on the front of my ID wasn't my current address. There is NO LAW stating that the address on the front of my ID has to be current to buy a gun. If you go to the DMV and ask for a replacement ID with the current address, they will simply tell you to write it on the back. I have bought dozens of guns with my current address written on the back of my ID without issue from several other shops. They told me to go get a hunting license with my current address on it and come back the next day LOL. When I asked them if this was a state law or store policy I was simply told "It should be a law". I just can't wrap my head around this bizarre store policy. 2 stars, because at least the people are always friendly... read more

This shot is huge I think they put every gun in inventory in the cases, so it looks great. They always seem to be crammed with guns, even these days. Well, I did not have the best first experience with this shop. I put a $150 deposit on a used p7m13 in box, $1500 was a great price, underpriced by $500. Then I went back to buy it and found a 99% Remington military semi auto shotgun model 11 on consignment for $1050. A quick call to the owner, and I had it for $975. It was a $1200 gun in the values book, and probably more then that as the books are always behind. My 4473 was filled out and submitted at 11 am. I left and went to another shop, went and did some work. Came back at 1, still not back. Came back at 2 after a late lunch. Nothing. Hung around until 2:30. They finally called back to the state bureau and I was all set. I am sure the approval was done hours before and misplaced. They should have called back at 1. This was a weekday! I paid for the guns at 11 am, but now after 3 1/2 hrs they had to run the register again on it, for some reason, and the numbers were wrong. The wrong consignment was used, and the salesperson could not fix it.They called the head cashier from downstairs. After 15 more minutes I told them I absolutely had to leave due to an appt with my attorney for a refi. They could not make it work, and could not give me my guns. They took back my receipt, which I actually offered to help them figure it out, and they refused to give it back. Thank God I did not pay cash! One good thing about using credit cards. So I went home. 20 minutes after I left the owner called to apologize. He said he would "make it up to me" next time I was in. It was a real scene, as the woman who made the initial error was crying. I went back monday and they rang me out. The figures were STILL wrong. They forgot to credit me with the $150 deposit. I waited for the owner to come in to discuss, he did not even remember the incident from the prior week. Not sure how much more I want to deal with them. read more

Went there for after Christmas deals, they still have lots or powder and reloading components. They do due FFL transfers for $35 dollars which is the average pricing and nice to have access to a dealer that will transfer online purchases. Weird thing is they have multiple identical firearms on display with prices varies up to $250, same model and condition. Guy next to me wanted to buy their wasr-10 folder ak for $899 but was told it was over priced and it was better for them to buy it online and transfer to them because they overpaid for the ak during the last gun scare. What I like is they Id all people buying ammunition and magazines to keep the Massachusetts people from buying out ammo and mags they can't get in mass, mAybe it will motivate them to change their laws down there. Bravo Zulu Outpost!!! read more

I've been to stores in NH, Mass, NY, VT and more and this is by far the best. My only issue is that I live in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts, so I can't buy most of their guns! It is my #1 ammo stop when passing through. I have bought 9mm boxes as low as $13.99 (Blazer Brass). Almost always in stock, very organized, well priced and always friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

I bought my S&W night guard here which I love. Best home defense you can ask for. The staff was eager to help and we're very helpful. I hope to buy many guns and ammo here. read more

I first want to thank Jim McCloud for having a great inventory and quality and more importantly knowledgeable staff. Chris in reloading is as squared away as you could get behind that counter. Tom up stairs was pleasant and handled all my request. All in all a great place for your weapon and cartridge needs. Also a solid line of 5.11 gear. read more

Guys were great with questions. Great communication. Really going to be my go to place for shooting supplies. Jim answered my question really fast and made everything painless and easy for a return that was really my fault. read more

This place is absolutely awesome. As everyone else has said, they aren't trying to gouge or screw anyone over. The staff is friendly. The facility is gorgeous. They have everything firearm related you can think of, whether it's apparel, accessories, ammo, firearms, tools, etc. I have a feeling I will be a lifelong Shooters customer. Even their phone system is great if you want to call in to see if they have what you are looking for in advance. And unlike Walmart, they are happy to answer questions and help you out. And they do it with a great attitude, unlike many other stores. I've never left this store disappointed. read more

This place is really organized, clean and the employees really know what they're talking about. I stopped in here during Christmas time to pick up a few things for my dad and they really helped me find some things he ended up loving! I can't base my review off any of their firearms because I haven't yet bought from one them though. read more

Guys there are very helpfully and friendly. Great prices and inventory of all kind. Highly recommended place to buy from. I'll be a repeat customer. read more

I went there to consign my semi-automatic pistols. Their service was excellent and very professional. After the paperwork was done, I looked around the store to see what they got and how the place was run. Again I was impressed by how well the retail machine was smoothly operating. The wait time for assistance was reasonable, people were courteous and knowledgeable. The store's inventory was fantastic and huge. Their Sig Sauer display is the best I have seen in Souther in NH. The price was very fair too. I will definitely come here for my non-online shooting sports needs. read more

What is there not to love about this place? Guns, ammo, attire, safes, friendly and helpful staff. Everything you need in one place if you are a beginner or a pro. read more

One of the best and most organized gun shops. this place is a gem for people who love to shoot!

The help was friendly and helpful. Jim showed us around the museum with great educational stories.

Always a pleasure coming in here. Staff know their stuff and can point you in the right direction. I love buying the tried and true ammo I've used forever, but these guys have opened me up to some new stuff I totally love. I stop every time I go by! Very clean too....and their signs are hilarious..."We called your wife, she says it's OK" hahaha read more

Being from that state to the south I have had a hard time finding certain types of ammo. Not anymore! They were more than happy to point me in the right direction and let me walk out of there with the max they would sell me. I will be back often to keep the safe stocked. read more

Poor service, unhelpful staff. They have blue line pricing but make it basically impossible to use for both veterans and active duty service members. We will be taking our service elsewhere where we are treated right. We thought it was just that employee who was rude but based on the reply to this review by the owner (?) the whole business has issues. read more

Bought a used revolver with the assistance of an employee this past weekend. After taking it to the range I found a screw was broken and the gun was unsafe to fire at the advice of a friend who is a police officer. Unable to drive back to Shooters Outpost i called to find out if they would repair the gun or give me a store credit. When the employees that answered the phone once I reached the gun department could not answer this question I was transferred to the owners voice mail. I have left several messages with out any response. Yes Shooters Outpost has a large inventory and great looking building. But i guess customer service is not a priority for just one small purchase. read more

Amazing experience. All of the employees are knowledgable in many areas, and more importantly, they actually care about you and your firearms. The store itself is a nice, clean, and organized environment with a wide range of firearms, ammunition, and clothing. The staff are nice and professional, willing to take the time to teach you about the operation and history of any gun brought into the store or in stock. I've been to other gun stores, and this one is head and shoulders above the rest. Whether you want quick efficient service, or you're interested in learning more about any facet of the firearms world, Shooters Outpost is the place to go. read more

Not a female friendly business.... I went there yesterday afternoon and was looking at some ammo and was approached by an employee as he said and I quote, "Excuse me Sir can I help you?" I looked up at him and he immediately said he was sorry. I let it slide and found they only carry cheap dirty ammo in bulk so I moved on to upstairs to look at a new weapon to purchase. I walked around the cases looking at the brand I wanted to see. When I found it I stopped ans waited for an employee to ask me if I needed help or even some acknowledgment that I was there waiting. I waited for 10 minutes and watched as others were helped, all men of course. Now most of my friends are men so I have no gender issue, but I will say as a female who loves her weapons this place made me feel completely invisible and that brought on the feeling of insulted too, thinking back to my first encounter when I arrived. Well in conclusion I didn't take me long to walk out of there before my temper took hold and I did something bad. Drove home cooled down after being insulted and then I called to speak to the manager. He sounded no older than 15 on the phone and did not listen to the words I was saying and didn't even understand what had happened. I will not go back even and urge others to not use this place. The owner who ever it is has to train their staff to be gender neutral when addressing people as well as get some women on staff you stupid owners. There are lots of women who use firearms and have knowledge and there are those of us who love to learn and would also be great employees. CHANGE your business practices. read more

Very busy and very disorganized. Salesmen "float" and if you are at a particular counter at the store, you may remain there indefinitely unless someone notices you. Tried calling with a product question the following day and was put on hold and forgotten. Good selection, but difficult customer service read more

OMG the selection can not be beat... The people will answer anything you ask.. Fast fun and friendly in a gun shop? What is not to love!

Have to use my store credit to buy something I don't need after I was sold something that was TOLD to me by your representative it would work for my rodent problem. Found out it wouldn't work after getting home, and YES, reading the owners manual. When returned to the store to discuss the problem was told by your clerk, "Our staff does not make those kinds of mistakes". Having staff myself, I would like to know where you find these perfect employees. I do appreciate the store credit, that was YOUR option, but problem was solved talking to a different shop by just using a different ammo in the weapon I already owned. Note to the owner: After reading some of your reviews, I do not work for your competitor, went there by referral from a good friend and avid hunter. You got my money once, will not get again due to poor customer service, not price or inventory. read more

I love this place staff has been very nice to me and the prices for their bulk ammo are very hard to beat!

Went to shooters outpost today and picked up some 9mm american eagle ammo , many many dollars cheaper than Bass pro shoppes down the street , I can tell you I will never spend another dime at bass pro for ammo , I will go directly to Shooters Outpost for my ammo , shooting hunting needs , well staffed , well maintained , well stocked , good prices , what more can you ask for, just go there and be done with it.....!!!! read more

Worst customer service ever. Drove all the way up from Boston and they don't even help me. They tell me "we never had anyone bring one back". They didn't exchange for me. Now I'm out on travel and merchandise read more

I was surprised by poor customer support. When we went to the store the sales person said the gun would be on sale to Dec 24th. Couldn't buy it then since we were getting on an airline. Came back Dec 18th to buy two of the guns. Were told that the sale was not on anymore and the owner would not honor what her employee told us. She said it was just a two week sale. Sorry, but the employee confirmed what he told us and not to honor that to me is wrong. Shooters, you lost two customers. read more

I do have to say the owner of shooters outpost and Manchester firing rang is pretty rude. Me being a youth shooter had a couple of intelligent technical questions to ask him about a sporting shotgun me and my parents where looking to purchase for me to duck hunt with. And when I was talking to him he was extremely rude and treated me like a ignorant child. I was in his store with a pocket full of cash willing to give him business and he treated me like Crap. Luckily his employes are a lot easier to deal with and they actually assisted me in finding the right shotgun that I love and I now will not allow him to assist me when me and my parents there to purchase anything. Hell I wouldn't even let him help me find the simplest things because he would be such an idiot about it! read more

Went to Shooters for the first time today to purchase a HK. Big disappointment! Once they found out I was a dual resident of Mass and NH, they refused to sell me the gun. They said since we are "weekend warriors" they didn't feel comfortable. Even though the gun is mass compliant and I have my Mass LTC-A. Selective sellers. Mass residents beware. Prices way too high, found the gun $300 cheaper. We will never set foot in there again and will advise our friends to do the same. read more

Nice place and rather big - lots of selection. However, I wasn't pleased to see PINK semi-automatic weapons carried there. I really don't think women need pink guns- and the color sends the wrong message. read more

Best gun shop in NH.

I went there with a friend who wants to get her first pistol. The store is gorgeous inside, it's well-organized, there is a TON of merchandise on 2 floors, and the sales person who helped us was friendly and knew a lot about the firearms he sells. Oh, and the prices were very reasonable. I wish there was a store like this in Massachusetts. But of course, there can't be, because 85% of the guns in Shooter's Outpost are illegal in Mass... read more

Awesome store with a great staff and selection of guns and related items. I stopped in to pick up a small item that I had not been able to find elsewhere and they had several in stock. Hopefully when I have more time to spend. read more

Love this place. Guns ammo reloading shooting accessories!! Cool place. Friendly staff!! Go there! Bring all your money!

Visited Shooters Outpost last week. I was very impressed with the store. Very clean, neat & merchandise was displayed well. The lighting was great, all the counters & displays were well-lit, bright but easy on the eyes. I found there prices were moderate, but given the lack of sales tax, and the fact that they are an almost new store, and a lot of money was spent on making it so nice, I didn't mind spending my money there at all. The staff was friendly & courteous, and I was very excited when I walked in, seeing the large selection of guns and accessories. I wish the store was closer to me, because I would certainly visit more often. read more

Prices are pretty good, variety is pretty good. I get the "gun-guy" attitude from some of the employees but others are fine, I just have a hard time buying from people who talk down to me or have a bad attitude, I wont go to Riley's and this place is getting to that point now. I might go back to Manchester firing line and see if they purged the ex-rileys employees over to shooters and have someone without the attitude over there instead but we will see. If not I will just continue to find other places to buy my guns, I would rather spend more to support a place that treats me well then save a couple bucks and get some "I am way to cool and know way to much" gun guy attitude. I should mention that I am pretty gun knowledgable as well and cant even Imagine what it is like for someone who isn't. read more

Last week, I went gun shopping in NH for the first time since moving here. I went to six different gun shops located from the Mass border up to Hooksett. Shooters Outpost was far and away the best shop I went to. That's not to say that the other shops were bad. They all had their good points. But Shooters was just a cut above in all respects. Their inventory is best. Their store size and layout is the best (in comparison to the competition, this is no contest). And in my limited experience, their service is the best. I was in the market for four different pistols. I priced them at the other five southern NH stores I visited. Shooters Outpost's price was better or the same on all four guns. I bought two of them on the spot. I couldn't be happier and I will be back. Go check them out. read more

DO NOT buy here. Period. I'd give them ZERO stars if I could. They have a pretty absurd store policy that "requires" them to hold a firearm until they get a call back from the NICS confirming its an approve. I have a very common name, and, despite putting my SSN on every application - I get put on a delay almost every time. The LAW says that after 3 business days, if the FFL has not heard back from NICS - they can release the firearm. Well, Shooters won't do that. But do you know what they will do? Make you pay for the firearm up front. So, here it is ALMOST 2 MONTHS later. I have obviously paid for the gun ($500) - but I can't have it. I spoke personally to a gentleman at the shop who was polite and candid with me, but did little to solve the problem for me except to offer a refund. They have done nothing to follow up on their end. They keep telling me to do things - which as far as I am concerned is lazy and just plain terrible customer service. Shooters will not accept a concealed carry license as proof of ownership requirements being met. I won't shop here again. And if you are like me and find yourself getting delayed on purchases - steer clear. DO NOT buy here. Go somewhere else and you will have what you paid for in hand in a few days. If you can't find what you are looking for in a different shop (which is why I bought here) - have them order it for you and wait for it. It will still be faster and more enjoyable experience than dealing with these folks. I am giving them 2 more days to figure this out or I am getting a refund and going to a store that is competent. Seriously. I am going to get a refund on a purchase I made 45 days ago on an item I never even had in my hand so that I can go to a different store. Completely ludicrous. Thanks for nothing guys. Hopefully they can give me the refund over the phone because I don't even want to set foot in the place again. read more
