They have tons of handguns, rifles, and shotguns for all levels (affordable and expensive). They offer expert trainings for anyone who has zero experience with guns, and the price is very affordable. They offer additional training for CCW. The facility was recently renovated. All in all, I hope you give them a try. I always appreciate good decent people who show up in good faith to be helpful, and this has been my experience with UHGC. When you meet people who actually care, what more can you ask for. My initial experience with Union Hill Gun Club was positive. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The owners present themselves as professional, courteous, and personable. However, after becoming a member, my experience changed significantly. I began to notice that many basic activities and services come with additional fees that were not clearly communicated upfront. Charges for routine actions--such as drawing from a holster, even as a state-certified concealed carry permit holder or receiving assistance with equipment purchased on-site (like red dot alignment) created the impression that nearly every interaction carries an extra cost. My primary concern is centered on ROC Training. While the instructors themselves are knowledgeable and capable, the overall structure feels heavily geared toward generating additional revenue. Classes often include upselling, including solicitations from insurance representatives during breaks. Additionally, certain courses such as those related to concealed carry in constitutional carry states do not appear sufficient on their own, requiring participants to enroll in further classes at additional expense to meet application requirements. This lack of clarity and continuity is frustrating and, in my opinion, unnecessary. Ultimately, I chose to cancel my membership due to these concerns. The overall experience reflects a pricing model that prioritizes incremental charges over transparency and member value. Lastly, I would suggest that ROC leadership invest in business and customer relations training. The tone and delivery at times come across as pompous and dismissive, including repeated "we're from New York" rhetoric that many may find off-putting. A more customer-focused, respectful approach would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

Chris has a stern but accommodating attitude, after all he is in the business of firearms and not Christmas trees and I respect it. I was there for about an hour until the background check was completed and browsed the inventory and asked additional questions about different items. Chris is very knowledgable about firearms and provides straight forward reviews with a caveat "I will sell you whatever you want but this is my opinion.", almost like reading a review online but still having the ability to buy what you want. He is a firearms dealer, organizes/teaches weapon training courses, and is an avid shooter, so his opinion is based off of using the product not just reading a brochure. At the end of the day, I would go back and recommend others to go there as well.

The next morning I showed them and asked for answers as to what happened - they told me 1 teacher was scheduled to be off and the other called out that morning so they didn't have answers. The state was called for investigation and despite the case still being open, they called me and said we had to leave. The director, Alyssa Barlotta and VP Lauren Standfast are absolutely horrible and unprofessional people to work with. This all happened in purple cats classroom. Do NOT send your kids here. If you ever put your kids safety as your priority and question/complain they will kick you out. Believe me, we don't want to pay people all this money to be constantly stressed out over our Children's safety and well-being only to be treated this way by people who clearly don't care about children. At the end of the day this is a business for them and they will do whatever it takes to make it seem like they are not at fault and protect their employees. I find it interesting that another review with 1 star also had a similar experience and was asked to leave because she complained! I also had a daughter in the infant class and there was 1 teacher in particular who was not equipped to handle infants properly and when I expressed my concern, that teacher was so rude and nasty with both me and my husband. Anytime we came to drop off or pick up our daughter she would roll her eyes, ignore us, or give us attitude. It's sickening that these people are in the business of "taking care of children. As for the teachers, and assistants; I don't know many people who are Selfless enough to love a child who isn't their own, after meeting my sons teachers (and assistants), I can safely say that I have met a handful of them; their patience, kindness, and nurturing personalities make it at ease for me to drop off my son. There are plenty of activities to keep the kids engaged all day long. The drop-off and pick-up is seamless. The facility itself is clean, organized and adorable. The kids get plenty of opportunities to play and move in the fresh air with plenty of shaded structure and indoor room when the weather dictates. The biggest indication for me that it's a great place is my daughter's unwillingness to leave at the end of the day.
