The first officer went through how to load and shoot the Glock 101 and all the safety protocols for the range. Both my friend and I had not been to the range in years and need a refresher course. After our lesson he kept an eye on us and continued to give positive reinforcement and guidance for improvement. We both felt confident and safe by the end of our session.

Access…read moreis via a security gate that is somewhat hidden from the roadway the Club itself is quite private. Safety is paramount. I am a novice my friend is expert. We shot a few of his guns along with his new purchase a Finnish Seka 30.6 which he was very proud of. It packed quite a kick. While setting up another weapon Dominick the Club President came over and we chatted briefly. All very friendly. We shot at 100 yards today. Last time it was at 50 yards. My shots were pretty good according to my buddy. He explained that our groupings were consistent and he showed me how to adjust the sights and windage. It was a lot of fun spending some time doing something that I do not normally do - I am a golfer, and learning some new stuff. I do admit writing this my shoulder is a bit sore. Will return when invited again. Mark.
