Went for color, not great experience…read more Can't remember the name of the girl I went to, but I specifically asked for someone that has experience highlighting dark Asian hair, it pulls very brassy when hair is bleached. Anyway the colorist they gave me had little experience overall bc she was young and ended up toning my hair about 3-4 times that visit. She was apologetic but that doesn't fix the damage done. I cannot recommend nor would I go back.

There are so many reasons I choose to come to Hair Jun for my hair needs, but the thing that stands out to me about Hannah is that she is not only a good listener, but she also takes photos to ensure she remembers how I like my hair to look, each time I come into the salon. My appointments were typically very long--often around six hours--and I spent a significant amount of money on my hair over the course of that year. Unfortunately, my most recent experience showed me exactly how little my business and loyalty apparently meant to her. Before my appointment, I texted to let her know I was running late. While I was already on my way, she began texting me about her 15-minute grace period and telling me she had another client after me. Fair enough--salons have schedules and late policies. But what happened when I arrived was completely unacceptable. Instead of having a normal, professional conversation with me, the OWNER began yelling at me. I was honestly shocked by the level of hostility, attitude and disrespect. I wasn't going to stand there and allow someone I had paid thousands of dollars over the course of a year to scream at me, so I left. Then came the dispute over the hair I had already paid for. Despite the appointment not proceeding, she refused to refund my money for the hair. That only reinforced my decision that I would never give this business another dollar. The most disappointing part is the owner's attitude. In my experience, she behaves as though she is somehow above her customers and entitled to speak to people however she chooses. There is an arrogance and unpleasantness that I overlooked for far too long because I had an established relationship with her and liked having consistency with my hair. This final incident was the last straw. Let's be clear: this isn't some exclusive celebrity salon where customers should feel privileged just to get through the door. It's a neighborhood salon in Hoffman Estates. Customers are the reason any salon stays in business, and treating a loyal customer as though she's beneath you is an incredibly poor way to run one. I fully acknowledge that I was late. If she couldn't accommodate me, all she had to say was, "I'm sorry, we need to reschedule." That would have been the end of it. Instead, she chose to yell at me and turn a scheduling issue into an ugly confrontation. After being a loyal customer for a year, I walked away from this experience thinking: Why did I ever tolerate this woman's attitude or spend this much money here? My recommendation is simple: steer clear of Eros Salon. There are far too many talented stylists and professional salon owners in the area to spend your money somewhere you may be treated with hostility and disrespect. I will never return, and I absolutely do NOT recommend spending your money here! The owners demeanor is deeply unpleasant, unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional!

I went to Blow Bar this past Saturday to get my hair done for my bridal shower as I typically am…read morenot the best at hair and really wanted to ensure my hair looked okay for my shower. I went in for a Dry Style and it was everything I wanted and more. My appointment was at 9am but I got there a few minutes early and they were able to take me right away which I really appreciated. My hair took a total of 25 minutes which blew me away given I do have a lot of hair but it was absolutely beautiful and everything I wanted. I wish I remembered the name of the girl who did my hair as she was awesome - super professional from start to finish and even stopped a few times to get an idea on if I liked the progress and for any feedback, if necessary. Highly recommend Blow Bar if you are looking for a quick blowout or styled hair for a big occasion! Thanks, Blow Bar for such an awesome first experience and cannot wait to come back!
