She did a beautiful job. My hair looked elegant and beautiful, and the style held firmly all day despite hot weather and hours of dancing. I could not be happier with the entire experience. She is a professional and very personable. Her and her partner's salon is charming. On a second occasion, Darlene did my highlights. I love how subtle and natural they look. I would highly recommend visiting Darlene, whether it be for a cut, style, updo, color, etc.

From the moment I arrived, the stylist pressured me, saying she had only 7 minutes to wash and condition my hair and just 5 minutes to complete my haircut etc.,. I asked for a face framing layers and U cut, but she ignored my request and did unnecessary things, leaving me with a half-finished, uneven haircut with no layers. When I pointed out politely that the haircut was unfinished and had no layers, she insulted my hair, calling it frizzy -- which is completely false. I have never experienced anything like this at any other salon. Even when I asked about payment or clarification on the haircut, she repeatedly THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE, saying I shouldn't question her work and am not welcomed to her salon again. I paid $85 for this poor, incomplete service. Melissa was extremely rude, unprofessional, and intimidating. Clients deserve respect, professionalism, and quality service -- not threats, insults, and intimidation. I strongly caution anyone considering this stylist. Salons by JC should take responsibility for who operates in their suites. No one should ever experience this level of disrespect
