I usually get stuck with this 1 guy that seems like he may still be learning the ins & outs, which is fine. However, I expect a certain quality of service & he isnt able to provide that. The last time that i went i did ask for another tech. Their work was better on my hands but she never offers or asks me what kind of pedicure i want ahe always just does a regular pedi, when i want something else. I never mention it b/c at that point i just feel like 1 its poor customer service & 2 you're missing out on $. I have noticed that there are only 2 male techs that know how to giev the shape that i am looking for and they usually have to come & fix the work of the others. I get dip powder on my natural nails w/ coffin shape and have been doing so for 5 yrs now. So being told that its not possible to give me this is incorrect, its more so the skill of the tech. My last set was from Valentines day and today 3/6 they still look really good. I don't have straight nail shots but did capture them in some selfies which is what i wanted to show. They are not all fresh seta but are 1-2 weeks old. The work i do requires me to use my hands & wash them frequently so this gives a pretty good idea of how well they hold up. While my set prior to this resulted in my top layer peeling within days for the most part ive had an okay experience. I am giving them 1 last try before i move on to a different spot.

There's ample parking and staff to handle busy days without the classic sit at a station only to wait antics that happen at our nail establishments on occasion. I typically schedule an appointment, but I've noticed there are a number of walk ins too. In the last year, I moved to biobuilder and changed salons largely for this reason. The shape, level of care and relaxing environment are the cherries on top. Service is consistent and I'm always pleased with the end result and color options.

Last week, I received an appointment reminder for the wrong week. I called the salon and specifically explained that my appointment was supposed to be the following week. When I arrived today, there was no appointment scheduled for me. I calmly tried to understand what happened so that the scheduling issue wouldn't happen again, but instead of having a simple conversation about it, I was met with defensiveness and eventually had the nail technician raise his voice at me. I have been a good customer. I make my appointments, I call rather than simply not showing up, I pay for my services, I tip, and I communicate respectfully. I should be able to ask a question about my appointment or the price of my service without being treated as though I am causing a problem. There was also confusion regarding my price. I was initially quoted $70. I asked for a breakdown because based on the prices I had previously paid and the additional services explained to me, I calculated $65. After asking for clarification, the final amount was in fact $65, which I paid. What was most disappointing was the overall change in treatment. My hands were handled much more aggressively than usual, communication was dismissive, and after all of that, I left with gel that is visibly lumpy and uneven on my nails. I don't expect perfection from any business. Mistakes happen. What I do expect is professionalism, respectful communication, accountability when something goes wrong, and quality work for the service I'm paying for. Unfortunately, that was not my experience today. I paid for my service, said thank you, and left. I won't be returning.
