Called them regarding my order in "shipping now" stage for a few days. The customer service representative Sharon sounded dead and like she hated life. Didn't know what to do and directed me to a supervisor who didn't know any answers either. They are unsure if my order is backordered or in stock and don't even know what stage my order is at. Edit:they've begun shipping mysteriously after I called them, will see if they shipped the right item despite them being unsure if my product is back ordered Edit2: I got the shoes and looked them over. They appear the be legit timberlands and were as pictured. Shipping is slow but I received the real product at a heavily discounted rate. Minor gripe I had was packaging. The tape had already been peeled off half of the box and you could legit open it without any difficulty, any person could look into the box and clearly tell a timberland shoe is inside. this company's customer service is one of the worst i have ever had the experience of dealing with. my order was shipped and fedex dropped it off at the wrong house, emailed them both pictures as prove and ask them to address the issue with fedex. i was told that i have to wait to receive a tracer form from them, to complete it and send it back via us postal service, once they receive it the tracer will be filed with fedex, in the mean time i have to wait for showmall to decide if they send me the products again or refund my money. first time customer and going through this nightmare making it worst by this unreasonable delay in addressing this simple problem that i did not create. i strongly recommend staying away from this company. i give them a big zero rating read more

They say that a fee of $6.95 will be deducted from your purchase upon return, however the bar code is not accepted by the recommended carrier. But after I ordered I was informed one pair of shoes was not available and the other pair came to me all stretched out. I was then informed I would have to pay for the return. Shoemall had the sneakers I wanted. Never received any type of email regarding my order and it never came. So I tracked down my order on Paypal and called to get a tracking number. FedEx would state a delivery date, they would not arrive and then the date would be changed to the following day. Finally they were delivered, to JJohnson in North, Virginia. I live in Brooklyn, NY. Got through to Shoemall but of course the person on the phone can't help me, I have to talk to a supervisor and they aren't in yet. So I call back, more hold time, go through the entire story again, transferred, on hold for an hour and then the supervisor tells me they can't refund my money or do anything because the package was delivered (albeit to someone other than me) so I have to dispute it through paypal. NEVER buy from ShoeMall. First, my "in-stock" order for which I paid extra $15 for 1-3 day delivery was delayed for weeks,then the wrong size was delivered. I was denied refund for the extra delivery charge AND I was charged for the return shipping. Weeks later after my return was acknowledged, I have still not received my credit. Every time I call after a waiting period they specify, they simply add a new waiting period. If there was a zero star, I'd give it. Ordered 5 pairs of shoes. 1 never arrived despite a tracking number issued. I had to wait on hold over 15 minutes to talk to someone who told me she can't help me and call back from 8-4 to talk to a Supervisor. Really? I am pacific time and am a teacher so I essentially can't call during their limited time. Fast forward to after school is out, I sit on hold AGAIN for 15 minutes to be transferred to Supervisor. She explains that sometimes shoes get "stuck" in the black hole between getting a tracking number and actually shipping. She credited me. I had already repurchased the shoes afraid of losing my size. Fast forward to the other 4 pairs. 3 were returned using their $6.95 label. I filled out the form for 2 of 3 to be replaced with different size. Crickets. I just sat on hold for 15 minutes AGAIN to be told I have to speak to a Supervisor. She claims there is no record of the associated return bar code being scanned. so I put the phone down to get the other half of the invoice and she hangs up on me. I wait ANOTHER 15 minutes to get through and am told Supervisors were done for the day. Now I know why I was hung up on. I said I know there are Supervisors on the floor of a call center, i used to manage a call center. There are people to manage. She CLAIMS there is NOONE other than phone reps in the building. Baloney, Managers exist to deal with personnel needs at minimum. If you need and customer service, and you will, the REAL hours of this company is 8-4 Wisconsin time...not the long hours posted on the website. Oh, and they don't staff. I was told not to call during their busy times....like the 15 minute wait time was my fault!! No offer to have a Supervisor call me. NOTHING!!! I am out $180 worth of returned shoes unless I want to spend an afternoon on the phone....of course, their "busy times" isn't posted on their website and neither is their Supervisor hours. The worst service I have ever experienced in my life. Ordered boots a week ago- was sent a confirmation email with a tracking number- when I clicked on the link FedEx didn't have record of it. I truly believe that this was my worst shopping experience ever! The customer service is terrible, I was on the phone a total of almost an hour and 45 minutes. Their computer system is horrible. If you have to call it will take over 30 minutes for them to get a representative on the phone. Unfortunately it is necessary to call because their system is not user-friendly at all. When I place the order they did not say that they would be backordered. I waited a week and a half and check on my order, it said they couldn't find it. So I had to call. I ordered a pair of Sorel boots from Shoemall since they were almost $50 cheaper than from Sorel or Amazon. Shipping was slow, but I was fine with that since the boots were so cheap, and they were upfront about shipping times. Got a tracking email after the boots shipped, and when the boots arrived they were exactly as ordered. I didn't see these reviews until after I got the boots, so then I double checked in case there were some defects I didn't notice, but nope! The boots are perfect and they do not seem to be fake as far as I can tell. I email them and they ask for my order number and what I needed and apologized for being backed up 2-3 weeks and I let them know I needed and exchange for one size larger. Terrible customer service.... do not order from this site and if you do NEVER pay for "express" shipping, what a scam. I placed an order on Tuesday (early afternoon) and paid $25 for express 2-3 day delivery. Figured it would be processed Tuesday (day 0) and go out Wednesday (day 1) and arrive Friday (Day 3).... just like any other online retailer. They did not ship out until late Thursday (2 days after placing my order) and did not arrive until Monday evening. When I asked to be reimbursed for my "express" shipping they explained that is the fastest they work and they do not offer refunds. Needless to say I did not receive my shoes in time for y trip and I will never use this site again. So here it is in full: "My problem is the promise of return shipping at $8.50 for the pair [of shoes] I decided against. My shipment arrived without a return form or label. When I requested a replacement label from Customer Service, I was told that they could not replace the label, so I'd have to pay for shipping myself. With insurance, tracking, etc., I ended up paying $5.50 extra to return.
