I don't remember the name of the gal who helped us, but she was great! She was very knowledgeable about the various brands/styles they carried. She was also friendly and personable. My daughter was asked to do something on two pieces of equipment (for lack of a better word). This gave the staff member information that helped her narrow down what shoes would be best for my daughter. There had already been questions asked about what the shoes would be used for, etc. A few different brands and sizes were brought out and tried on and walked around in. Pros and cons were discussed and a shoe was chosen. A lot happened while we were there, but it didn't take a long time and things kept moving. We were never sitting there waiting for long periods of time. I've been to buy athletic shoes at another well known store and the process takes entirely too long. I'll try Fleet Feet next time!

We bought chairs for outdoor games which were very good prices and they last a long time. They have reasonable prices for all your sporting needs. Mouth guards, basketballs, cups, bikes, hoops, sports clothing and more. The staff is always helpful when we need and they greet you as you walk in. We came here to compare prices for a hoop which we saw better elsewhere but overall, not bad.

4/7/2026 I purchased 2 pairs of Nikes. One of them was a pair of Nike REAX, mens size 8. I had…read morethem picked up from the store by a delivery service, I don't drive. I got the shoes, opened the REAX and they are worn, dirty and stained. There is white paint or something similar on the bottoms, on the side and top, there is what looks like splattered Cola or coffee. The laces are dirty and the inside of the shoe has fuzz and dirt. I IMMEDIATELY called the Manchester store and "Wayne" answered in the shoe department. He was 10,000% extremely unhelpful, rude and very off putting with his attitude. He blamed it on the delivery service I used, my response was they dont work for Academy, they are a delivery company. He then says well what do you want me to do about it? So I hung up and called to talk to a manager. The manager "James" was worse than the first guy, so apparently I was going to get no where with him either. So here I am, stuck with worn, dirty Nikes that I paid 100$ for! NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY NOR WILL I EVER SPEND ONE MORE CENT WITH THEM.....​​

They were marked the appropriate size, but the toe box is uncharacteristically narrow. The "factory store" wouldn't take them in exchange for a different pair, because I'd purchased them too long ago at Kohl's. I don't know the relationship between the store and the factory, but if it's truly manufacturer owned, then I don't understand why they wouldn't stand behind their brand. If they're not manufacturer owned, then their name is misleading. Either way, I found it disappointing, as a longtime Sketcher consumer, that the purported "factory outlet" wouldn't offer a trade for shoes which were clearly in new condition and uncharacteristically sized, causing pain. Incidentally, I offered these Sketchers to family members who wear the same size shoes, for free, and they were returned to me with comments that they didn't fit. This is disappointing and expensive. In my opinion, it is bad factory policy one way or another. Also, I purchased 3 new pairs of shoes at that visit. The shoes are good, but it seems that the purported "factory" doesn't stand behind them.

Normally I go to Rack Room shoes for my sneakers but when I saw an actual Skechers store it made sense to go there since I was buying brand specific. Since stores like Rack Room carry so many brands their inventory is limited so it was great to go to an actual Skechers and see all they have to offer. They have everything from sneakers to dress shoes and everything in between. One of the best surprises was the slip on options. Denim, leather, pleather all in a variety of colors. I'm glad I found this place.

If it weren't for my retail background I wouldn't have known they have one of those reachers somewhere around. I found one hidden and hanging, grabbed it and was able to get my size. I love that it's a little oversized so I can put my Nano puff underneath when it's winter so I can have extra warmth and a windbreaker. Also learned that combo from a nice woman from the alpine shop (probably my favorite) When I went to check out, there was a man in front of me who left his purchase and the cashier tried to get him back. That's when he said he was doing a return. So she had to refund him twice. Yikes. She was nice enough when she rang me out. Parking is hit or miss in town and country because there's so many great places in this shopping center. You may have to walk a bit even during the middle of the week when you'd think everyone was at work.
