Well, 8 days later and after wearing them in the house for about an hour total, I went to the store to return them last night. I was told that I would not be able to return them, except for credit on future shoes. The shoes were in good condition. On the bottom of the receipt I noticed that it did state that the store can refuse a return for any reason, after the fact. But, that is not what I was told. I am not a negative person, but I don't like a store to lie and take my money. I don't want it to happen to anyone else.

Thankfully we were helped by Daniel M. today, who was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and helpful about the needs of my mom's feet. He provided great customer service! We felt comfortable purchasing the shoes and compression socks from him, because he genuinely believed in the products and didn't try to push sales (which would have completely pushed us away). Not only do they have the same Birkenstocks, but they have the one with the 6 straps, within the 2 buckle enclosure. Those are called Granadas. Great mix of shoes, and the clearance aisles are also worth looking at. They carry Bandolinos, BORN, Clarks, Sketchers, and tons of billions of other shoes. They even have fake socks to place on, if you happen to not be wearing socks, or need to wear hose with the shoes. I find their selection pretty good. The BORN are a bit narrow for me, cause it's the BOC Born style. They carry socks, but I think the socks there are a bit pricey, for socks, that is. Definitely worth checking out this store. Time and time again, I'm glad it's there.

After trying several sports stores with no luck, we called Famous Footwear in Lee's Summit. Kaitlyn answered the phone and went above and beyond--she checked the clearance section for me and found the exact size we needed (a youth 3 in turf cleats!). There were a small selection to choose from and since I wanted them for the next day for work, I decided and bought something. The staff were friendly and also helpful. The aisles were clean and it was pretty much divided down the middle. The right side of the store were women's shoes and the left were men's shoes. If you're looking for shoes for your kids, then they are all the way in the back. Right in the front were the sports shoes like running, basketball, etc. If I need more shoes, then I'll come back here to buy some.
