There were many putting inventory on the floor, but none greeted me, as they seemed like they were very busy despite only a few other customers. The location was exceptionally clean, with no shoes littering the floor like you'd see in department stores or clearance racks elsewhere. Every shoe had a pair, and different styles had plenty size options. There was only 1 or 2 styles that didn't have my size (7.5w). Each shoe also had multiple colorways, which allows you to choose from a variety of options based on your personal needs. I came in looking for a business casual shoe and unfortunately could not find any that fit my high arches (no fault to DSW). However, the options were plentiful for a standard, basic shoe. For statement pieces and more modern, trendy looks, I'd probably recommend you look somewhere else. But if a basic heel or sneaker is what you need, stop by!

Not sure if Kansas City's public transportation comes through this area or not, but best bet would be to have your own rental car or have uber / lyft app on your phone for quick and easy access for on demand rides. For the most part though, I was satisfied with my purchase and got a 20% discount too. It was around the price range I was looking for - after the discount.
