They had a great assortment from Good American and Madewell, with a good range of sizes and styles to choose from. So yay because I needed a pair of jeans because the weather was much cooler than I'd packed for. The dress section, however, felt a bit repetitive. Lots of the same styles, so not a ton of variety there. One thing that really stood out was the shoe section, especially if you're a size 10. There was a very large selection, which isn't always easy to find. Overall, a solid stop if you're looking for quality denim and shoes, but also know that it's Nordstrom Rack so options will always vary.

Being that you need comfortable footwear, such as sneakers, to walk around downtown NOLA, especially in the French Quarter, we were fortunate to find the Athlete's Foot on Canal Street to rectify the mistake. We found a pair of stylish Adidas that fit the bill after a bit of searching and trying on. The staff was pretty helpful in locating the right size, and it wasn't long before my wife had her pair, and away we went back towards the hotel. It was very convenient that there was an Athlete's Foot on Canal Street; given the situation, so happy that we were able to find a clean, well-organized shoe store that was easy to navigate, ask for the right size, and get on with our stay in the Crescent City.

I have a beach trip coming up, so I have been on the hunt for comfy things to wear while I am lounging beach side and exploring the town. This shop had everything I could have hoped for- light cotton dresses, casual and stylish tanks (that reminded me that I have to find something to wear for July 4th, even if all I do is grill at home) and sandals galore! I picked up a nice pair of sandals that I'm excited to wear and I have my eye on a few more items that I will be treating myself to before the trip. The woman working was really friendly and she will grab any size that you might need. They also had trendy costume jewelry that is perfect for casual wear. I will be back!

I walked in, and I immediately noticed that the clothing was more organized on the racks, there were no messes or clothes on the floor and things were grouped together by size! The second thing I noticed was 4 (count 'em) FOUR registers were open, as opposed to the previous count of one total open register! There was still a line, but it moved quickly and there wasn't a long wait to check out. It was fantastic! I rewarded your efforts today, by not only purchasing a dress (I was able to find it easily, because the racks were organized by size and the fast moving line gave me no excuse to not get it), but by coming on here and boosting you up a star. Why not a boost of 2 stars? I want to make sure that this isn't a fluke, Ross. Don't get lazy as the summer goes on.
