But i trusted the process. she found me a shoe that fit all the specifications that my job required. i noticed the difference on the first shift. on my feet 8 hours and absolutely no pain, it was like magic. nearly 10 years of pain almost completely gone just like that. 6 months later i came back because i felt i was finally ready to start running again and wanted to find a shoe i could trust based on my specific issues. and who's the first person to greet me when i walk in? that's right, Marissa! we weighed all the different options and what might be beneficial in different ways. she even showed me the proper method to tie a shoe to keep the heel from slipping. my first run i knocked out 4 miles and i've done a few more since then. still pain free. the last time i tried to run a half mile i was limping for 2 months so this is huge. and that's why i say life changing. i feel more confident on my feet and ready to start pushing myself to new limits athletically. overall the customer service stuck out, and i did pay a pretty penny for what i got but you really can't put a price on comfort and security.
