Of course, me being a true yelper, searched and discovered many great reviews. It was then decided, I've got to schedule. The online scheduling process was extremely user friendly, and immediately sent an email confirmation with the details of my deep tissue massage appointment... I've been working heavily lately, so I knew I was in severe need of self care, my only hope was that Kim could help ease my physical discomfort. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, the door was unlocked, and upon entry I noticed the cleanliness of the yoga studio, and the organization of the many products offered. In addition, there was the amazing scent of sage burning (spiritual satisfaction) so now my senses are heightened and anticipation is rising. A short moment later, out came Kim with a very bright smile and open arms. We had a great opportunity to briefly get to know one another prior to my treatment while also completing the registration. I told her what I needed her to focus on, and she made note of it. During my phenomenal treatment I was mentally taking back to childhood ages when I could float in the bath tub and all of my body was relaxed, a time where there was no pain, no hurt, no job, no bills, and certainly no stress... Nearly a year and a half later, I received a bill totaling close to $2,000--despite the sessions being basic stretching exercises. I contacted Kintsugi to understand the charges and the delayed billing. I was told the coding was done by the therapist and that the billing came from a third-party company--not Kintsugi. However, the bill had Kintsugi's name and contact number, which makes the attempt to shift responsibility feel dismissive and unprofessional. Not only were the charges excessive for simple stretching, but I also stopped attending because I could perform these exercises independently. What's most disappointing is that the billing was delayed until I was no longer working and on a very tight budget. This timing added unnecessary financial stress. During my call, the person I spoke with said he would inform the owner but couldn't offer any resolution. He later left me a voicemail saying he felt I was mad at him, which struck me as odd--I never made any personal remarks, nor did I direct any frustration toward him as an individual. The experience reflects poorly on Kintsugi's business practices and, ultimately, on the leadership that enables them.

The instructors are attentive and bring a level of heart and awareness for what is needed in the moment that I have struggled to find elsewhere. The exterior is deceiving in the heart of White City with an entrance from the alley, my first visit had me trepidatious upon arrival; however, from that first class to this day when I walk through the doors, I am instantly flooded by a sense of serenity that I struggled to find elsewhere. It is a 30 minute drive from my home, but every class is worth it. So many experiences I have at the Heart Center take me back to the beautiful yoga I experienced in India. I highly recommend this place. Everyone who has walked through the doors with me feels the same! Whether it is for yoga, reiki, hypnosis, or other alternative treatments or training, I have found joy and awakening in being a part of this community.

I love the mix of classes that this studio offers! My favorite is to do the Sculpt class which…read moreuses hand weights sometimes to modified Vinyasa and other times with circuit moves. I stay and do a Yin class afterwards. The temperatures are good - the Vinyasa and Yin are done at reasonable warm temperatures which is very important to me. If you like that really hot stuff, the Hatha classes are there, but I never do them due to the heat. The facility is nice with an excellent sound system. I love it that there is a variety of music, even within the same class. All of the instructors have been very good. Special mention of Kelsey whose classes particularly resonate with me. Kelsey often does one small adjustment per person per class, and that has slowly improved my yoga practice.
